challenge 7
Oh cheese, I totally spaced making a thread! D:
I'll pretty this up in a bit but I wanted to clear a spot for my challenge.
Yes I am still participating! Last challenge I lost 6lbs and completed everything 100% which included completely sugar free/detox (not even fruit y'all) for the whole challenge. Yay!
Main story, Goal 1: get back to pre wedding weight
(Goal 2: Pass avg fitness test
Goal 3: 25% or less body fat
Goal 4: gain post apocalyptic survivalist fitness level
Goal 5: ???)
The gist:
Goal 1) 1200cal weekly avg, 90/10 primal (This worked beautifully for me last challenge)
(23/28 +2CON, 18/28 +1CON)
Goal 2) Exercise 3x a week (I have been loving this)!
(10/12 +3STR, 08/12 +2STR, 06/12 +1STR)
Goal 3) Meal prep 5 days worth of 1 meal, every week (also loving this!)
(3/4 +3WIS, 2/4 +2WIS, 1/4 +1WIS)
Woo!
Goal 4) Sugar free EXCEPT booze and fruit. I'm trying to learn moderation when it comes to reintroducing sugar into my diet and I drink basically never soo...
(23/28 +2CHA, 18/28 +1CHA)
My Motivation
1. I want to be a good example for my sisters and future children
2. To optimally manage my mental health
3. I want to maintain my new healthy relationship with food
4. I want to be more comfortable in my skin
5. To be able to better participate in walks, hikes, and other outdoorsy things I once enjoyed
6. To be able to be pregnant safely and have the energy to play with my child ( disclaimer : I have jacked up ankles and literally very weak core muscles that don't activate properly. So if I got pregnant in my current physical condition I could likely render myself immobile)
7. I want to be able to protect myself and my loved ones
8. To better my chances at having a long and healthy life
9. My husband
10. Myself

Well despite the dust this challenge collected it went extremely well. I stuck with everything and it is all aces.
Lost 6lbs and am quite pleased with my sugar free existence. I have no idea how to handle breaking the sugar detox but here we are.
When is the next challenge?

Missed you Doll, finally glad to have caught up on your thread. Awesome work that is what 5lb lost this challenge now?
Woden uses ravens, I use an iphone.
>u< thank you! I am quite pleased. I even have muscles forming. I can feel them even when im not working out which is awesome and foreign to me lol.
Nice!!! Yeah meal prepping is a godsend. <3 I'm glad to hear things are going so well!!!
thank you!!

week 3 was great as well, I lost another pound! Yay! Looks like i've found my stride!
The only thing i am a little concerned with is what to do with myself after the sugar detox. I am just fine on it but in the past i am known to practice good moderation for like a month and then BAM. Sugar sugar sugar all day long.
Hmm...

Meal prepping is the best. Everything else gets so much easier when meals are ready~
I'm glad to hear you're doing so well.
Thank you. :3 sorry its been crickets on here but as I said all is quite well.
Weighed myself this morning and I am happy to report I've lost another pound. Yay! Meal prepping makes miracles happen. Suddenly food is near effortless. Yay!

Everything is going very well. Week 2 all aces and now onto week 3 I am a happy clam.
All goals are being met and I'm losing weight consistently. :3 Sugar detox is going nicely thank goodness. It is nice to no longer feel murderous over carbs. Lol.
I've been meal prepping 1 meal to last the week this whole challenge and that has helped a lot to keep me on track.

So here is a question for you...
How do you know when you've beaten the troll?

Poop, still can't edit stuff. I was going to make a neat little space reserved for weekly summaries and final results.
1st went great, all goals are met. Hurray!
Current week is also going fine, i have one more day for my exercising i need to do but that is tomorrow's adventure.
The sugar detox is still going strong. Haven't hit ketosis yet but that's okay. Intaking no sugar/carbs has kickstarted my weightloss. :3 i have already lost a pound this week. So 3 total so far for this challenge. Yay!

Yay! Date night! That is awesome and ohh my goodness your little ones *u* i love the pictures and sounds like you've got an adorable yet treacherous warrior on your hands! Sooo cute. <3
Kids are the best. Everything is new and genuine, what a treat to enjoy their personalities. I don't have my own (yet!) but seeing my youngest sister entering her teen years has been mindblowing. Poor thing. Lol.

I hope your battle with the Sugar Fairy is going better with mine. She straight up kicked me in the chops last night... but it was delicious. Sinfully delicious.
Many curse words and ugly animal photos are about summing up my physical reaction to the whole thing but I'm not worried. Done this before I'll do it again. @u@

I'm gonna rip her jerkass wings off first and then her stupid little arms and THEN send her head sailing.
First things first though........ survive the withdrawals! oh my crust everything hurts. -shrivels-

I'm back to work today and feeling better. I wouldn't say 100% but well enough to be here and not infect anyone else!!!
Sleep is starting to become problematic. The last two nights it was a yucky tummy, but the knee is starting to just ache in general. Last night I got up and went to the couch so I didn't bother my hubby. It is likely something that I need to get used to as post surgery sleeping will be challenging! I'm tryingto power through the knee ache knowing that I need to keep it moving but the muscle atrophy is causing it to become weaker...
Food was light yesterday and I avoided eggs for breakfast today. I had sweet potato instead. Sweets in the morning are just wierd to me and yes sweet potatoes are really sweet to me!
No PT exercises for the last two days... UGH I have got to do them tonight!!!
I'm starting to stress about all the things I need to get done before surgery... The list of everything I need to do was running through my head last night (yet another sleep disruptor!) so I need to focus on getting stuff accomplished. Thus I gotta get off of the NF boards now!!!
Today I'm grateful for co-workers who will be covering for me while I am out of work, a boss that is supportive of taking time to heal and the gorgeous spring weather we are having!!! Another thing I like about myself is... my management style.
I like to think thatI am giving the folks who work on my projects the tools they need to get the job done, a supportive environment and recognition for a job well done. (I had a hard time with this one today...)You are smart, driven, and inspiring. Take it a piece at a time and hold onto your amazing positive attitude and know we here on the NF boards are rooting for you. <3

I found you!
You have an awesome positive attitude and your theme fits perfectly. Punch some ass!
