  1. ☆☆☆ Week 1 Report ☆☆☆ Consumed 8.5oz out of the total 14oz allowance. Hurray! Weekly average... 1275! Hurray! Well under goal! Carb average... 72.2g!!! Super yay! Enjoyed 3/3 full work outs!! A+++ So week 1 went fantastic! I am managing just fine with weening off dairy, carb and calorie goals are doing great especially since it is a weekly average sort of deal. And I LOVE the exercises I have been doing. Weening off dairy is going great. I have stocked up on dairy-free alternatives and have found myself choosing them over the dairy options. Really pleased with how all this is going. Hopefully week 2 will be just as keen. This week I lost the bloat weight and I actually have muscle in my arms!!! I have never had muscle before! My chicken wings are shrinking! Yay!!! Now for the real pounds to be shed. <3
  2. <3 thank you Hah that is actually why I got the wii fit. I was looking into getting DDR and was recommended the wii fit. I LOVE DDR. When we move to a ground level place, then I'll get it and dance my buns off!
  3. ☆☆☆ mid-week 1 update ☆☆☆ Everything is going exceptionally well goal wise. I have graduated from low elevated push ups to knee push ups which is awesome. Weening off of dairy is going great too. I made ghee, got me some vegan cheese, and figured out a dairy free ranch dressing. My carb goal has been well under budget. Aaand I love working out. The wii fit has been a blast and my husband even joined me today. I'm thankful and keeping my focus on the positive while I wait out the low. Hopefully everyone's week has been good too. ♡
  4. I was 100% paleo for 3 years (the year i derailed was 2013) and my mum did for 6, so I am well acquainted with the paleo universe. It is actually what I am slowly working my way towards. Primal is my go to but paleo is the goal, especially if it turns out dairy really does make an impact on my skin. Which basically leaves me with paleo although I actually do very well with soy but finding non-gmo soy is a pain in the petunias. That is a good way to go. She sounds pretty aware of her dietary needs. I asked about beans because they often are hard for our bodies to process efficiently and I don't just mean a case of the farts. Joint pain, inflamatiom, bloat, rash, constipation, and i am sure i'm forgetting something - are common side affects. I'm guessing she already knows how to eat for her body's needs.
  5. LOL! Call me rusty? Thom, Tank, you both have given me pre-war morale boosting goodness. Thank you. <3 the low is bipolar related, so the challenge to be overcome is simply the time it will take til I'm above water. Sorry my brain doesn't seem to give properly thought out responses during these lows. Maybe I'll give a midweek summary for some positivity.
  6. \m/ Yeahhh! Sorry I'm so distant. Having a low so keeping social is tough right now. But metal always helps!
  7. Hmmm tomatoes as well as spices? Sounds like a sensitivity to nightshades. Does eggplant bother her too? She sounds like my gran who's digestive tract is damaged. How does she feel about fermented food like saurkraut or kimchi? If those are too strong, greek yoghurt and kefer have awesome probiotics, which are fantastic for digestive health. How does she handle beans (including soy & peanuts?)
  8. I prefer kelp noodles too. I do pretty well with carbs because I never cared for breads and cake like things in general. I prefer savory to sweet except for my ice cream curse. @u@
  9. Oh my god YESS! D: I got neck and neck gryffindor/slytherin so......... I'll just be a painting instead. Lol. 2. History of magic: finish rereading Essential Asatru and order next books on list freaking finally (I double read everything) 3. Transfiguration: knee push ups or better daily! I worked hard last challenge to improve my push ups and have graduated to knee ones so I want to put even more energy in it because I freaking love them! 1. Charms: clean up the dang decorations and the couch cover or it's detention! 4. Potions: too bad my wine making doesn't count. So nothing but water this lesson instead.
  10. Aah it is so awesome that your wifey is inspired! How cool! Now if you could have a word with my husband...
  11. -waves pompoms- look at you go busy busy! Following along to cheer you on
  12. Following ♡ your glutes sound like my core. Stupid muscles not waking up and doing their job! -disciplinary finger wag-
  13. My fingers are crossed for luck that once i'm dairy free my skin will improve. I made ghee yesterday and have started minimizing the dairy in my fridge. Condiments seem to be my demon. Lol. Thank you Terra, that actually really means a lot to me. Last challenge had me in mixed emotions so I needed the encouragement. ♡
  14. Celiac sucks! My mum and I have it. You do keto, right? I have to ween myself off carbs and have trouble with certain foods triggering binging episodes. I've never maintained a 100g or less carb diet but slowly I am getting better. I love advice, recipes, all of it. so please share your genius with me!
  15. Following along happily
  16. Level up time! Challenge 3 final scores! Quest 1: X3 physical activity per week: nailed it! Went well above and beyond! +3 STR Quest 2: 80/20 primal + 100g carbs max per day: 19/28 not great but there it is. Carries this on in my next challenge. +1 CON Quest 3: walk 25 miles: 15/25mi learned that walking is not a goal i can have at this time. Not til we move. Too dangerous for me to go alone and i have no one to go with. So not sweating this. +2STA Level 4! See you at my 4th challenge thread
  17. Yeah I saw that once I went to my current challenge and looked at your posts.
  18. Altered dairy free to weening off dairy instead because i started panic induced binge eating. Not good! Baby steps instead. Feeling much better.
  19. -builds fire and unrolls sleeping bag- of course I'm here. Lurking, admiring, absorbing the awesome. c: I like the idea that last challenge you wounded the troll and this one is a continuation of that battle. Meditation is a huge weakness of mine. I have what the nice Monk at my local Buddhist chapel called, "monkey mind" ;u;
  20. This is awesome Tank! Following along again of course. Erm... what do you mean the final weekend of last challenge isn't included in the challenge? ... The 4 weeks are 28 days long right?
  21. Yes!! Link me your challenge so I can snoop and see whatcha doin' Haha, thank you. I thought I would get more specific with my main story ultimate fitness goals. I want to be able to do the things Tess and Joel do in the Last of Us or what my wanderer from Fallout does. Err, the physical stuff. Not necessarily the jumping off of the tallest building I can find in my power armour... Or you know, shanking zombies.
