  1. Great, thanks so much Also, I have one more question.. How would you recommend choosing which exercise to do when it says "choose one of the following exercises"?
  2. Thanks so much for the help!! Lots of info that is all really useful. p.s. in that link you sent, when it says "work up to a max set of 5 reps", does that mean do as many sets as you can of 5 reps?
  3. Hey guys, I'm just about to start working out, and I was wondering if I could get some advice on making a workout routine. Fitness Goals To improve my overall physical strength Exercise Preference PowerliftsCurrent Physical Stats Male17176 cm (69.3 inches)54 kg (118.8 pounds)(I'm skinny)Previous Training History No proper strength training but a history of futsal, outdoor football (soccer), swimming etc. throughout my whole childhood.Current Training Next to nothingCurrent Diet NormalNo idea about my daily calories, etc.A typical day's food will be a smoothie (banana, frozen fruits, cacao powder, almond milk/water) and some greek yogurt for breakfast, a salad and ham (or chicken or anything like that) sandwich for lunch, random fruits and maybe pasta for afternoon tea and a varying dinner (always generally healthy, never anything "bad").Current Resources/Limitations 24/7 Gym membershipAm currently in high school and plan to go to the gym early in the morning before school.Free every morning except Saturdays.I was looking at this: http://www.muscleandfitness.com/workouts/workout-routines/complete-mf-beginners-training-guide-0 and was wondering how good something like this would be? Also, if I'm waking up early to workout, what should I eat before and after the workout? Thanks in advance!
