  1. 17 yrs old, 140lbs, 6ft, hate the imperial system, cause our metric one is that much better!!!!!¡ My goal is get stronger than my friends and thus look good naked Doing angry birds to achieve that, but will mix it up with fitdeck body weight starting this week, one day per week.
  2. Memorizing verses from bible when I feel the urge is a great idea, I do this anyway, but this timeframe is a really great idea. Will do that Also, for blocking, I will install some softeware, but need to find one to set me a password first, I'll probably just ask my dad..
  3. Ok, so I'll post weekly, every Sunday, how I did, to encourage me to meet my goal. Since Wednesday, I failed once, on Friday.

Even if these sites are bullshit, there are three main reasons I don't wanna watch porn: First, the bible forbids it, second, it's just a waste of time and third, I can never know if the actors are doing it voluntarily, or if they're just a bunch of kidnapped east-Europeans or south-Americans doing it against their will. Also, it's clearly an addiction, as I else wouldn't have failed letting it go before and I don't like to be addicted to anything, even if it might be not that bad. And if I want to let go of porn, I have to quit masturbating too, because one leads to the other. Concluding, it may or may not be healthy, but from a religious or ethic view, I don't want to do it.
  7. Hi I have a bad habit, I think it's an addiction. It's a bit awkward to me and maybe to you, but it's masturbating and watching porn. Both my religion (I'm Christian) and science (for example http://yourbrainonporn.com) say its bad for me… I tried to let go of it several times, last time was this January, I managed to go without porn over a month, but in the beginning of this one I was back. So, to give me more motivation, I want to write down every morning, if I masturbated last day, so when the urge comes, I know tomorrow whole world will know if I can't resist. I hope this is not too embarrassing to you…

  9. Ok, so I'll start a search for research, and next week or when I think I have enough, convince my parents I need more meat. I hope it works… Besides that, how is my breakfast today? I had time, so I experimented a bit with what I eat usually for breakfast. - self-made cereal from several steeped grains, with cashew nuts, almonds and pumpkin seeds - two softly cooked eggs - 2/3 of a kohlrabi - a carrot - 1/2 liter milk (pasteurized, but not homogenized) with cocoa powder (yes, I know, lots of sugar in there) I can't do this everyday, as I don't have that much time usually, but I can still try… It's better than bread, I suppose, but how good is it?
  10. Yeah, would be no problem, if my parent's wouldn't see themselves as food-gurus and my iphone contract wouldn't last at least 2 years, from which 1.5 are yet to come.. I know you think I just have not enough motivation or willpower to do it (and sometimes I think that too), but it really is harder than you imagine..
  11. Because I just can't afford it. I save money for driving school (don't know how it is in other parts of the world, but here in Germany it's really expensive, at 1500 to 2000EUR), I pay a lot for my phone, I just need every cent
  12. So eating that much meat causes no harm, if only I don't eat pork every day. Only my parents aren't convinced, and without them, I can't eat meat..
  13. Hi I'm wondering how long I should hold a static stretch, because my mother and many others like this website tell to hold it 30 to 60 seconds while Steves post on stretching says 10 seconds is enough. Can you help?
  14. Ok, so I asked my parents about this, and 1. I remembered incorrectly, it was gout, not rheumatism, that spread. Second, they said it was only the rich ones starting to get it more that time, because they there the only ones eating more meat, and it can't be hygiene because those rich ones had much better hygiene. I also researched a little, and it seems besides genetical predisposition, high purine diet is one reason for gout. As it turns out, most purine seems to be in meat. So I'm really a bit confused what to believe and to eat. Oh, and by the way, if any of you are native English speakers, feel free to correct my language mistakes..
  15. Thanks for that much replies (and sorry I couldn't respond earlier). I'll definitely try to go way down with bread, I knew bread's not that good, but just didn't realize how much I ate, because I've always done like that, I suppose. On meat, my parents say meats evil, and to prove it they say with the end of the middle ages, as people started to eat more meat, lot's of diseases (I think my mother said rheumatism as an example) started to spread. I don't know if thats true or if they just heard it, what do you think? Dairy for protein again is a problem, because my parents (yeah, they have strong opinions..) tell that it's evil again, I just forgot why (but I think that's a rather common conception). So they want to stay with meat at most once a week and as less dairy as possible (although they like cheese like me). We have aprox. 2 litres of milk per week for example, for 4 persons. For veggies, I'll definitely ask my mom to buy more of them, especially ones I can eat raw, to swap them in for bread and a bit of fruits. So, it would be nice if you could help me with protein, I either need to convince my parents or have other foods rich on protein. Oh, and for the underweight part, I'm 65kg and 183cm, so it's not that bad, but definitely less muscle than I should have..
