  1. Wohne aktuell in Köln Zollstock, von daher ist alles was in Köln stattfindet perfekt für mich ^^ RPC war ich schonmal vor ein Paar Jahren, hab super Erinnerungen daran. ESports bar sagt mir gerade nichts, klingt aber sehr gut. Gamescom ist zu voll um da iwas besonderes in einer Gruppe zu machen, ohne erst einmal Stunden warten zu müssen..gehe da aber auch hin dieses Jahr. Wann müssten wir denn die Tickets für die RPC kaufen?

  3. Yes! I know the Darebee workouts, and still do some of them. And you are right, they do motivate me more than my usual workout routine..PLUS: there is a Commander Shepard Workout that I used today, and it was awesome If you're interested and don't want to search for it: http://darebee.com/workouts/shepard-workout.html I didn't know the Deck-of-cards or 300 workout! I should definitely try that sometime, thanks for the idea! Great! I spend a lot of time preparing it, and I might have put a little too much Peppers in it, so at some point I was: But it tasted reaally good and I got some left for lunch today! Now to the rest of the day, lets do this..
  4. Thank you! I'll do that! I'm not the kind of person who goes to extremes..my biggest problem is procrastination and just plain laziness. But it is going pretty well so far! I don't really know..I guess it was just one of those days..or maybe I'm just not a fan of "normal" bodyweight routines, because I get bored easily.. We'll see, today at the gym was fine though, even though it wasn't bodyweight.. I'm finishing the Ranger Feat in Style tonight, with a Chili con Carne. Hope it'll taste allright!
  5. I went for a traditional meal from Senegal yesterday It was really good, never tried something like that! The third new Recipe I'm gonna try is (Thanks for the Tip Big_Show) a new Chili Recipe I found..I'm gonna do that on Sunday Evening, because I'll have more time to cook then! On the other quests I'm making some progress..I had an issue with my Gym this week, apparently I forgot to pay the bills and that led to some unpleasant discussions.. But otherwise this week is going well! Wasn't home much though, so I haven't played the piano a lot. Meditation is going well, I feel like I'm getting used to it. And I didn't drink beer till now, but tomorrow is an important Game I'll watch with my friends, so there will be beer I'm afraid. I'm planing on going to my last weekly workout on Sunday as well, I did a bodyweight workout today, but it wasn't as fun as usual..I have neglected the handstand exercises lately, so I hope I'll get back on those ASAP! Lets do this.
  6. Tonight I'm trying a Recipe with Couscous, chicken, tomatoes and feta cheese! If its any good, I'll share it with you guys. The 2 others I was thinking of taking from the Ranger "Campfire", but I can't decide :D Do you have something I should try 100%?
  7. I'm afraid I failed at the strength Feat last week...SHAME ON ME! Am I dead now, or did another Ranger save me in the Mines? If so, of course you will be rewarded. And I'll do my best to kick ass this week! I'm off succeeding in my Ranger Feat (cook 3 new recipies), good luck on yours!
  8. Thanks for the kind words! It took a lot of time, and I didn't manage to update here before now, but I'm all better now, finally..last week was a tough week, Sunday Night was the first night in some time I managed to sleep through without painkillers. Anyway, Week 2 was ok, but not great: Meditation: Check, even though I had to concentrate on the pain I had, and it wasn't very pleasant.. The Healthy cooking went well, but essentially because due to the teeth, I mostly had to make soups, and..well..soups are healthy, right? Cooked one almost every evening, so for that part its a success. I didn't drink any beer last week, no soda either. Unfortunately I failed the Mini Challenge last week.. I did force myself to go to the gym twice, but not 3 times like I said I would.. But with the Run on monday and the swimming the day after it makes 4 workouts..I'd say I'll make that count as a success in Quest 1. Playing the piano is getting easier actually, mostly because I managed to create some sort of routine like Big_Show advised, and it is starting to work. I'm making some progress on the songs, so thats good. Yesterday wasn't a good day as a start in Week 3 unfortunately..I did meditate and play the piano, but I did not cook anything and did not workout either. I'm working on making it better today though: I'm trying 3 new meals, so I don't fail this week's mini challenge and disappoint the fellowship.. It could be worse, it could be better: onwards!
  9. Quick update for the last days. Don't be mad, I'll keep it short because I am completely exhausted: I didn't sleep tonight and in the last days I wasn't in the best mood due to Tooth pain.. Boring stuff first: I did meditate every single day in the first week and already on the three first days of Week 2. I'll call it "Success" I also played the piano in the last 3 days as well, so thats awesome! About my main Quest: it was a real fight in the last days.. I had terrible tooth pain in the last days, and still feel pain today. Nontheless: I did go to the gym on Sunday before work. The next morning after waking up, a friend of mine called, asking to go for a run with him..I managed to run 20 minutes, then I stopped because I didn't want to put too much pressure on my ankle. Yesterday I did not workout, but after a sleepless night last night, I decided to go for a swim in the morning and I went swimming for almost an hour at 6:30 AM. I also cooked healthy on Sunday Evening, Monday evening and Yesterday at lunch. End of the update: the Challenge is going ok so far, hope I'll get completely healthy soon.

  16. Quick Update for today: No workout, I'm going to the gym tomorrow before my work night. I did 5 minutes of meditation and played the piano. I also cooked for dinner: no meat, it was a casserole with potatoes, tomatoes, mushrooms and Red peppers. Improvised recipe, but really good! That is all, have a nice week-end

  20. Noooooooow, I'm back! Sorry for not updating. Here's a quick review of the last days: Wednesday: Quest 1: As part of the Mini Ranger Challenge, I got up to my feet and even though the DOMS of the last bodyweight workout was tough, I managed to get to the Swimming Pool 20 Minutes from my home and Swam for an hour. I did 20 Minutes of swimming, with only a couple of moments of break to catch my breath, and a 5 minute break between the 20 minutes. That felt AWESOME! And I was so tired in the end, it was more like my good friend Garus says: And I almost couldn't get out of the pool cause I was so exhausted...but it was worth it! I think I will include Swimming in my workout routine, I really enjoy it! Quest 2: Check, Meditate for 5 minutes. Quest 3: Didn't cook this time, but no soda nor beer of course. Life Quest: and yes, I did manage to play 15 minutes this time Thursday: I didn't work out, but I did meditate and play the piano. I also cooked healthy at lunch, vegan meal this time, although I almost never eat vegan. Today: I managed to get to the Gym, even though I had a dentist appointment before that, and I don't need to tell anyone how awful and painful those are. So the Gym actually was a relief this time ^^ Meditation: check. I also played the Piano earlier, and that really was a challenge..I think I only made it because I knew I would update here later, so I wouldn't want to look bad ^^ Again: worth it though. I'm working on my Character Profile and that new Fancy epic Quest thing on Nerd Fitness If you haven't done it yet, you should check it out!! I really want to see your awesome characters and Quests! Lets do this!

And as a fellow soccer fan, you are always most welcome here :D Well, I root for Hertha Berlin, since I grew up in Berlin I do watch some MLS games however, LA Galaxy of course, when Beckham was playing, also NY Red Bulls because of Thierry Henry. American Soccer has become more interesting lately anyway, some good games! Oh and Barcelona is playing the best football in the world at the moment I think, so your taste is not bad Thanks so much for checking in, I had to take a couple of days off the internet, with no awesomness to share with you unfortunately, because I was on the road most of the time, and didn't find enough time to seriously update on my progress. I'm going to post an update very soon though, actually right after this sentence. Or this one. Or this one.
  22. That's good advice, thank you!! I have to try that, I found out its way harder than it sounds But having a routine like yours, almost some kind of ritual, that could really help me! I did do manage to do better on that Quest, but it is harder than I thought, I really have to force myself, even though when I do start to play, I always enjoy it. Muhaha!! And you do Inspire me, Sir

Today was a little less succesfull than yesterday. I just did my bodyweight routine, that I hadn't done in a while, it was really hard, but I made it through. That was a real fight.. I also cooked healthy, and meditated. Only thing missing is the Piano part..I played 15 minutes yesterday, but missed that today, even though I had the opportunity...Shit happens I guess, but I'll get it done tomorrow. Lets do this!
  25. That's awesome!! How do you do a quick Ice skating session? Do you have a frozen lake nearby or an Ice skating rink?
