  2. Hey there! I need your help with Media. I catch my self way too often checking apps I just looked at, downloading games to spend time, watching the suggested videos on youtube or just turning on the tv or even my xbox. While this behavior is not bad, on some days I do it too much instead of doing something productive, even productive activities that I do enjoy. So how do I attack this habit ? I thought about two ways. 1. Slow. Reduce the time spent on these devices more and more over the time until the point where I do it sometimes but not to kill time or procas

One of the best ways to stay positive and always make the best of any situation is to be grateful for what you do have, as we normally have been generously gifted with much that we take for granted Thank you! I experienced this behavior before, there are so much great things in my life that I am not aware of. I will try this out! Also, I'd say it isn't necessary to view every situation as positive. Some situations just have more bad than good, and being able to take that in stride and accept that we'll sometimes have joy
  7. Hello there! The well known Freerunning Team Farang wants to declare April 29 as the offical Parkour/ Freerunning Day. For that their goal is to have as much Jams (= Training together) in as much places and coutries as possible. The cool thing is that, no matter if you are a beginner, interested or a pro, you can find like minded Traceurs & Freerunners. Farang's video You can start a training on your own or check the internet if there is already such an event at you city. I hope you will participate and have fun doing it! ~Ikarus
  8. That are some cool life goals! Just make sure that you don't "get stuck" on them - if you loose interest in for example plaing the piano you are not a failure for not learning it - simply choose another instrument! And I really like this Plan A thinking! A great quote I heard about this goes somewhat like this: "I only develop 'Plan A's. If I have a Plan B that mean I will not put everything I can towards fullfilling this plan A."
  9. Hi there! I want to purchase a list of self improvement books. But I am German. So my question is - do I purchase them in english or german? Generally I think it is easy to read in English, all of the blogs/texts I read are in English. Another thing is that reading about these topics in my native language feels weird. Maybe because I am used to read these kind of texts in English. My problem is that I am afraid that the books will be too difficult to read (for me at this point). I would not want to touch 9 books of Platon or Descartes at the moment Are these book
  10. A while ago I did not like that much veggies as well! What helped me was starting with the things that I liked. I really love corn, I liked salads and carrots. That was a good base to start on, what helped me was to search for recipes that included said veggies but had more in it: Noodle-carrot Gratin, salads with corn carrots and curcumber etc. Because I am digging eggs and omlettes I created my own recipe, just fry an omlette and add cheese and flavouring. Then you have a base to start on. You can add corn, nuts, brokkoli, carrots, salad, whatever you want. Small changes helped me
  11. Sadly no, I'm from Germany. But the UK Parkour scene is pretty big, so I'm positive that there are people that want to meet. I will search a bit if I find the time Just being curious, what have you planned for the accommodation? Is everyone going to stay in hostels in meet up in the morning? Or stay in the same hostel?   13. I like this idea of mixing cards! Sounds fun Do you take breaks between the cards? One fun thing is (I do this while training parkour) to just play 'the floor is lava', so you might need to climb in the tree, pull your self up somewhere or jump from stone to stone- if done right it is a great workout
  14. Hey there! I really like the concept of positive thinking or focusing on the positive aspects in situations. But I am just starting out with this and need to practice this. Any tips for starting out? And I was thinking about one aspect. I understood like this " Focus on the positive aspects, no matter how small they are". But if they are too small I can't understand how to remain positive? For example, this morning I got back pain because I am dumb and tried to lift something heavy. Now moving hurts and the only comfortable position is laying on my back on the floor. TH
