  1. Last week in general It was a good week. Since my classes have ended till february i have some sparetime that i put into doing extra shifts at work. This wil result in some extra money to spend next month. Besides that not much noteworthy has happened. Go vegetarian Still going strong on this one! Reporting results Still no reporting and i didn't lose weight. I think this has to do with a fear of being judged. I should work with this, step over this boundary. Managing the budget This one actually went really well, i only went to the stores 2 times this week. SO win on this one!

  3. Yeah i still owe you this one. Thanks for reminding me! Last week in general All in all it wasn't a bad week. We went to the movies. Instead of my usual order af a M popcorn and a coke i got a bottle of water and an S popcorn. I also got a new activity tracker Samsung gear fit 2 pro. My fitbit charge 2 broke, so did the girlfriends. We decided to upgrade and so far i am happy with it. The samsung one is water resistant and has gorilla glas. This means OCR tracking gear! if any of you use S-health be sure to add me! Go vegetarian This one is going great so far, no issues whatsoever. Only once i had a craving for shrimp due to a co worker eating a shrimp salad. After that not really any cravings for meat. Reporting results I forgot the reporting report, but i did lose weight, So 50% passed Managing the budget This one has failed, i went to the store 3 times this week. So i failed this one. This was due to stress nd actually forgetting some key aspects for dinner all in all some good points, but defintly room for improvement.

  5. punnishment probably isn't the right word for it. It is more extra effort, to make sure i hit the goal the next time. it is important for my general health to get some weight down quickly. After i dropped some weight this one is definitly going to get redifined into something long term more succesfull.

  8. Hi I am Rab, i have been active for around 2 years now on NF. I have been active in the rangers mostly. I had a crash and i am respawning right here. Since i am not entirely sure where i stand and what i need i figured the rebels were a good place to respawn. I am looking most forward to getting my drivers license in 2018, and hopefully some progress towards improving my health!

  10. Past attempts to challenges in NerdFitness led to dissapointment and failure on my side. This was due to having no time because of a grueling internship, my work, my study and excercising. I simply had no time to get on here and check in every day. Since my last challenge i passed my internship which frees up a lot of time! After some thinking i realised that NerdFitness is brought me a lot of great things and that i find it a waste that i didn't show up annymore. New year, new challenge, new me. So starting this new year i will get back to NerdFitness. In order for this to be succesfull i will need week write ups, clear goals and some community interaction. Goals 1st january to 4th february These are related to my general health, challeges i set for myself or community interaction. Go vegetarian For this challenge i will go vegetarian for a month. In order to experience vegetarianism but also to force myself to eat more veggies and fruits. Reporting results One of my big issues is accountability. I tried to counter this in the past challenge, this worked for a while but after that it faded. Starting january first i will pickup on the accountability aspect again by sending weekly weight updates to a friend. Since there is a health issue with my weight i set a prety steep goal of 1 kilo per week. If i do not hit this goal i will have to do extra excercise the folowing week in the form of half an hour a day walks on top of my regiment. Managing the budget One of my biggest issues is that i go to the shops to often and pick up to many shit. In order to counter this i am allowed to go to the shops twice a week. No more. If i miss something, well that is shit for me. Diary In order to stay engaged to the commmunity i will have to write weekly progress reports on my thread. I hope some of you will stick around!
  11. Reporting in for yesterday I went in for an unplanned weight lifting session with a friend. After this i went to Eindhoven with the gf, we had some dinner there. I also had a talk with my best friend about punishment i have set for not losing weight, and he convinced me i should change it into something that benefits the weight loss process. Somewhere in the lines of added excercise as punnishment. This is something i am thinking about and will get back to. Other than this nothing eventfulls happened. Calories: 2700. Way to much
  12. Reporting in. Today i did some strength training. Was at my internship. It was an ok day. Calories: 2256

  14. New week new oppertunities. Today was a calm day, i did some schoolwork, still getting anxious for the internship and played some elite dangerous. At 6 me and the GF went to the gym for our running training. So i did the felicity training part for this week. Afterwards i decided to test out the new body analyzer at the gym and that really hit home. Apparently in 6 weeks time my weight has climbed to 120 Kilo's with 45% of it being just fat. Seeing that on the screen really hurts to be honest. It is a wake up call that something has to change, and fast. But still. So starting today i have a renewed goal. I cal it Surviving Lian-Yu. My weight is my own purgatory and i have to beat it, just like Oliver beat the island. Starting today i have the goal to lose 1KG a week. If i do not reach this goal, i am not allowed to play videogames for the week to follow. I will post a weekly update here about my progress.
  15. at this moment i am studying to become a history teacher! At this point we are doing a teacher in training internship where i basically run a class with the responsible teacher sitting in the back. In order to make some hours as a teacher without having any of the final responsibilty Will you come over and hammer them down for me?

  17. okay so far i am not of to a great start. Things arent going that great at my internship. I am having difficulty controlling the kids due to the fact that i made a terrible start of the year. Starting this week i am getting the opportunity to set it straight. But this is going to be a huge challenge for me. Due to this excercising and eating clean has gone downhill. Also a meeting we had today was dragging on because for some reason teachers can never agree on annything. But i am here today and i am reporting in. So that is a win!
