  1. I might not be an expert runner or walker, but I am an amazing hiker and do that on a regular basis. However, I'll bump it down to two hundred, >.> thanks for the advice.
  2. I'm wanting to cut out soda mostly so yeah, I'd like to go to full on water!
  3. Okay. Here's my first six week challenges, quests and side quests. Won't be as fancy as some folks, but that's okay, simple suits me! -Main Storyline Quests- 1. A Running Start - Complete Darebee's 30-day Walking to Running Program 2. Beginner's Quest - Complete Darebee's 30-day Foundation Program 3. Be a Boss - Finish my management transition at work 4. A Journey Begins - Walk/Run a Total of 500 Miles 5. Scribe in Training - Journal Each Day of the Challenge -Side Quests- 1. Water is Not a Weakness - Drink Water the Entire Challenge 2. Not All Smoke is Good - Limit Smoking to Ten a Day 3. Hoarder - Put a hundred dollars in savings 4. Bad Habits Abound - Go the challenge without biting my nails 5. Home Sweet Home - Get settled in my new apartment I'm satisfied with these! I'm gonna be throwing side quests in there randomly as the six weeks progress, or perhaps if I knock one out early. Who knows. What do you guys think? Too overwhelming? Too simple?
  4. Goals mostly is lose ten pounds, drop soda, and work out every day. My biggest issue on making it look all pretty is that I'm typing on a phone -.-
  5. -ooh boy i gotta get my challenges going...-
  6. Just got approved for a new apartment!!!

  7. Daggum this is incredible. I volunteer myself, I'm enthralled that so many relatively new kids are excited and ready to help each other out. I can't wait to make friends with you guys. Call me Lux. I'm a social competitive imaginative female, almost 23 years of age, from Alabama residing in Oklahoma. I'm starting out as a recruit because I'm indecisive and want to do ALL the things! I'm almost all teary because I've never had a support group before. I want to change my life. My girlfriend of twenty months is my partner in life and I want to set an example for her and my little puppy. I have a wonderful job and am happy with my life but I want to make it better. Thank you all so much for including me and making me feel like family. This is gonna be beautiful. We are gonna take care of each other. That fifty pounds I want to drop doesn't seem so scary now.
  8. This is awesome post and insanely inspirational to us other new kids. Thanks you!
  9. Thought I'd drop you a line here too, welcome to the rebellion!
  10. Holy. I'm so happy with this. We should all be a newbie group and help each other out! I'm gonna friend all you guys!
  11. Welcome to the rebellion, I'm new to signing up but stalked it a lot too. You'll love it here!!
  12. I think it's the start of something epic for you! I'm new here too and thrilled to be changing my life. Good luck to you!
  13. Welcome to the recruits as well fellow new kid! Good luck to you!
  14. Excited to get started on my first challenge!! Can't wait to get more information, anything else I need to do to be a recruit?
  15. Holy crap this is such a good idea. I should do it! Thanks for sharing this with us!
  16. I'm in love with this website so far. If you're looking for some interesting workouts to keep you involved, another member suggested darebee.com to me. It's intensive stuff but you could probably modify it, might be a good place to start.
  17. How does one join such a prestigious group of rascally rebels s:
  18. Thinking about going for a barefoot walk...

  19. Holy meatballs thanks for the links. I had a friend once that taught me working out should be fun, you should forget you're doing something productive. That sledgehammer idea sounds incredible. I don't have one but I bet I could make great use out of it. I am attracted to the thought of using every day objects for workouts as opposed to weights or the gym. Edit ::: I'm in love with Darabee.
  20. I'm a nineties cartoon nerd but I have trouble getting into newer ones, I've heard nothing but magnificent things about Stephen Universe. I'm thinking Captain America is also my inspiration. For like. Everything.
