  1. Hi! Glad to see a fellow servant of the crabigator on here I've been stuck on a level for ages now because i got lazy with my lessons >.< Interested to see how this challenge works out for you. good luck!
  2. Thanks for the welcome, Tanktimus! so the workout went like this; pushups 3x8 dumbbell lunges 3x8 (each leg) bodyweight squats 3x15 - i'm thinking i need a way to make these harder, will add weight once i have the balance down. leg raises 3x10 bent over dumbbell rows 3x20 - again i need a harder back/bicep exercise here but i've discovered my pullup bar absolutely destroys by door frames, i think i'm going to invest in a better one. looking at this now that it's written down, it looks like i'm missing a dedicated shoulder exercise. Any thoughts on working lateral raises in from now on? In other news, finally got my maths notes into flashcard form and whittled my Wanikani reviews down to 0. Not a terrible start
  3. Is this, by chance, supposed to be Benny Lewis' book? That being said, learning a language from benny hill sounds awesome. I like the yoga challenges, i think i might try and delve into that myself on the next challenge, interested to see how it goes for you, good luck!
  4. Hey guys, new around here so i guess i'll do a little introduction thingy.I'm a 21 year-old physics student who's also studying Japanese on the side, joined the rangers because i want to focus on strength, mobility and endurance in equal measure. My thoughts tend to be a little sporadic so i'm finding writing a cohesive plan for the next 4 weeks a little challenging in and of itself, but that's the whole point so here goes nothing Epic Quest: The reason i'm participating in these challenges for the first time is i've recently gone back to university and now that i'm spending so much time commuting i've found it very easy to put weight on. The focus of this challenge is therefore to try to lose as much weight as possible and to generally give my life a bit more structure so i keep going in the right direction. So, with the aim of losing 6lbs in the next 4 weeks; Diet: 1.Take 2 pieces of fruit to university every day and eat them at the times i'm usually prone to snacking. Typically mid-morning and mid-afternoon. 2. Eat at least 1 meal that i've prepared and cooked myself 5x per week. Excercise: 1. Develop a full body workout routine using only the equipment i have at home (bodyweight, pull up bar, 5 and 7.5kg dumbbells) and complete it 2x per week minimum. Structure: 1. Take the key points from last term's uni notes, make them into flashcards and import them into Anki. Do this every Saturday for the previous week's notes. 2. Get into the habit of completing reviews on Anki and Wanikani every day.
  5. Same here, and now I'm on a nostalgia trip. Love this idea and your goals seem well thought out. Good luck!
