  1. I'd be interested in something like that!
  2. I have my signature figured out, so Part 1 is done, as for part 2a, I've used my force of personality to push myself into the [lvl 1 Recruit] Assassin Q&A/Chat accountabilibuddy page. They might not know it yet, but I'm there to stay! Part 2b will be something I've been putting off. I paint Warhammer minis and I've put off painting for a while. My 20 seconds of "JUST DO IT!" will be re-organizing my painting desk. it's gotten a touch cluttered.
  3. So, was going to do handstands for my first challenge, but with a hand injury it's made it kinda tough! I've went and changed it from handstands to practicing my roll, that's a good place to start, right? I know this isn't the place for me, as I'm still lvl 0, but I figure once I've gotten a couple more weeks done, I'll be level 1 anyway! So just try and stop me!!! (please don't... I like it here.)
  4. My battle songs... it has to be AC/DC's Back in Black and Highway to Hell. Nothing else, those are the songs I've always come back to, my flavor of the week songs come and go, but those two songs always do it for me.
  5. Bowling tonight! Yay for being social!

  6. Is your overall quest achievable (over a short or long period of time)? Is it reasonable? Yes, it is a longer period of time kinda goal. I believe it's reasonable, losing 40lbs would put me at 180, which is a decent weight for me. Do your 3 quests all build towards your main quest in little ways, or are you taking on too much? Do your quests have sub-quests or is it just one thing to focus on? The three goals build in little ways towards my main quest. They don't have sub-quests, they're relatively simple. Are your main goals realistic? Can you scale them to smaller steps to fit your life better, even if it will make it take a little longer to achieve them? My Main goal (lose 40 lbs, and eat healthier) was made to be vague so as to allow me the flexibility to change my routines and paradigm without being restricted. Are your goals able to be measured and tracked? What will you use to track them? Yes, my goals are all measured and tracked on my challenge page and I'm using the progress bars (awesome thing, those) to keep myself visually in it. How are you grading your goals? Are they pass/fail (“every dayâ€, “not even once over the six weeksâ€)? Is there a reward for the effort, or are you only grading yourself on whether or not you “lose the weight†or “run the distanceâ€? I'm using the ABCD grading system, and I've wrote up a sheet of Assassin Loot for me to earn as I progress. I have about 15 different loots (ranging from a new water bottle for parkour, to a rock climbing session, to some new workout clothes) One loot per challenge completion! What is your plan for continuing/altering/grading those goals if you become ill or injured? I've already had to alter my goals from an injury, as I thought I would be able to do handstands, but alas, I am not. So I have changed my goal to continue with some sort of parkour goal, but in a different manner. Did you take into consideration any special occasions (Labour Day, Independence Day, birthdays, anniversaries, etc) that may occur during the challenge? What modifications do you need to build into your goals for those? There's nothing that can really hinder me with my current goals, other than lunches when I am away for a weekend. Do any of your main goals conflict with each other? Will one goal make it hard to do another? No conflicting issues. Do you already have the time in your schedule to actually complete the goals you’ve set? If not, what are you planning to do to make time for them? I've got the time. I've made sure that my workouts don't conflict with any of my other evening activities. Are you trying to build multiple habits, or is all your energy focused on your main quest? Technically, multiple habits. 2, be physically healthy and eat healthily. And with that, I trade you one quiz for +1 WIS in 6 weeks time.
  7. On the note of my previous post, I do believe I will need to change my handstand goal. Instead of handstands as a goal, I'm going to replace it with "Practicing my roll" The edit will be made after this post.
  8. Hey, another Rebellion recruit just south of Edmonton here! Been with the Academy since about July, been browsing here in the Rebellion for a bit, figured I'd get started in my first Challenge!
  9. So I'm not officially part of this glorious guild of goodness, but my own personal heroes would be a mixture of Edward Kenway, and Jackie Chan (Drunken Master)! I don't have any .gifs for you guys yet, but I promise I'll get some wonderful bits for you soon.
  10. Meal Plan update! Egg cups for breakfast with a bit of salsa, lunch was supposed to be soup, but I had errands to run for work during my lunch and I ended up buying a sandwich at a local "to-go" place. Got a bunch of chicken breasts ready to cook on Sunday, and fresh carrots. Just need my broccoli and then I'm good to go for next week! Workout and handstand Quest Updates! Attempted a workout, sloppy but did something. pushups are not a good time. Solely for the pain in the right hand. I could do them on my knuckles but that added difficulty that I didn't need yet. I did incline pushups on my knuckles instead. It's still something!!! I didn't attempt the handstand either, as I feel that putting all my mass onto my hands may exacerbate the injury. I would much rather heal it up and be able to do it to my fullest, than re-learn pushups with sloppy form. Life quest update! I've got my plans all ready to go, and have bought everything but the plywood for my plyobox. I even had to buy a new drill, as I don't actually have one! (WHAT?!? I thought we had a drill!!!! Bah!)
  11. So, hopefully I made my signature right... This is but a test. Edit: I'm dumb and it didn't work. Alrighty, no sense in being insane and expecting the same result doing the same thing! TRY AGAIN! Edit #2: SUCCESS!
  12. So far the start of the week has been great! Ate pre-prepped breakfasts yesterday and today, having some pre-made soup for lunch! All is going according to plan! Found some common dimensions for Plyo boxes yesterday for my life goal (I know, I know.... Life goal wasn't supposed to be related to fitness, but I felt for my first one, this fits perfectly!) Going to try a workout tonight, see how that goes. My right hand is kinda beat up still (not quite full range of motion) after I fell about 3 weeks ago; I think i just did some serious bruising inside, as there's no swelling or anything just sore to pressure and trying to move it a certain way. As I'm set up in the Academy I will be doing the bodyweight workout that they have specified (probably doing a few modified workouts!) Anyways, there's my update! Off to work, Mad Jack.
  13. Well, I know it doesn't start until Monday... which for me I'm now 25 minutes in, but. The fiance and I did some breakfast cups (Eggs, red/yellow peppers, and ham cooked in a muffin sheet thing) we've got 10 or so, I think. So. We've started with the meal prepping. It's a start!!!

(My "Big Why" in the Academy) To me, it's very personal (Nobody but me knows it!) and I keep it folded up and in my shirt pocket every day. Now for the fun(er) stuff. My Character! I'm going to flesh this part out. I feel like it's hard for me to say that I'm anything but an overweight human. Granted, I'm known for being manipulative and people don't trust me, so I was thinking a Tiefling. Hopefully, to tie in with my Academy goals, I will join in with the Assassins. You guys want a Tiefling assassin, right?! It'll be fine, I promise. Nothing bad will come of this.... Trust me.
