  1. Like you said, you can get your suica with no problem at the airport. If you're traveling on a budget you can find some day/3day traveling passes in some places (for example in Tokyo my hostel offered them and in Kyoto you can get them at the railway station)those can not be used on all lines but realy can help keep the cost down (and getting arround is expensive there...I spend around 150€ on my suica in a little over two weeks there (that's what I spend in Germany in more than a month)). If you want to visit ghibli I found it easier to get the card in Japan then from outside ( a friend of mine working in a travel agency found out why: Ghibli has a limited number of tickets per day. This contingent is split in half (50% to buy in Japan, the rest to buy from the rest of the world) so if you want to get your ticket from say...Germany you need to plan at least 3 month of waiting time. In Japan you can get them in some of the supermarkets (if you understand enough of the langue) or at one of the tourist informations (they are awesome for tickets in general.) I'll add some more information over the next days if you like. Where in Japan are you going?
  2. " I ATEN'T DEAD" . . . even though it looked like it. So I found that at the moment live is offering so much, that writing here falls short more often than not. That's why I'll try to use my next free time to create a battle log that I will use until I'll have time to do real challenges again. On the uphand I managed to turn my diet around again. Not fully yet but I managed to make cooking part of my routine and if I fail to cook I normally manage to get something that's not to bad and manly low carb (that's not true for the last 3 days though because I'm ill and somehow my body (and mind) and healthy food don't work together when I'm ill) Also running and kickboxing are part of my regular week again. So overall it's going in the right direction even though a little slower than I hoped... (and now I'm rapitdly approaching the point where I will throw my freaking laptop out of the next window because it's old and keeps turning caps-lock on without reason and is annoying me to no end...) So what's happening besides this stuff? I'm finally writing my bachelor thesis (WOOPWOOP) and it looks at the moment like I'll start working for a nice booking agency in Berlin after that (and even though it's for limited time it's a pretty good start) So enough of my boring little life for now
  3. I think I'm finally feeling some momentum again. I stayed to low-carb for the whole week except for today, because we had a birthday party today and I wanted to enjoy some pizza with the rest of the family. I planed to meet the new running group today but didn't found my long running clothes in time so I'm going to push that to thursday. I'm also catching up on my mails, the NF-board and my to-do list. So overall improvements in all departments...
  4. So? Anyone interested in doing a meetup in Cologne/Frankfurt? I would love to organize (with a little help of course) if some people are up for it
  5. Short term goal 1: Prepare for exam Short term goal 2: commit to a thesis Short term goal 3: finish CV Long term goal: Getting a job in the event-industry How will the short term goals benefit the longterm goal: I'm pretty sure my last job hunts have been annoying because my CV and written stuff isn't good in showing my strengthes so working on that shoul help me getting a job I enjoy (also finishing my bachelors degree shouldn't be to bad either )
  6. Hope your feelings don't come crashing down to hard. Hope you can stay positive nonetheless
  7. So my last exam is on tuesday meaning of course I'm spending a lot of time with buying groceries and cooking (and that's good because my food choices are getting better and better the more I cook myself) and playing Batman Arkham Origins (again). I probably should do a lot more to keep my average results but I'm pretty much fed up with university for now. I want to go work in a cool job for now...why's that so hard?? ;_; No sport stuff done so far but maybee on sunday. Besides that I don'T have much tom tell right now, everything is boring so hope something changes soon so that it becomes exciting again... 2points 1point 1point 5points
  8. Schlechten Menschen geht es immer gut
  9. Even thugh it feels kinda bad today I hope you (and all the other people I know and like from the US that all feel that way today) keep a positive attitude and doing good (for yourself and for others)
  10. So I'm giving myself points for the food for tuesday and today even though I did not track BUT I cooked and stayed low-carb. Both are things that I need to do more regularly + tracking but I'll give myself point's if it's progress in the right direction (because otherwise I will get even more frustrated and everythin will fall apart sooner or later). I'm doing bit's and pieces of everything at the moment but nothing with a real focus now because work+studying is kinda taxing (? did I get that right?) at the moment. Nex week is my last (!!!) exam and the week after that my trip to Tschernobyl will follow (I still need a cool travel/survivor outfit for that). Besides that I'm kinda frustrated because (prepare for political rant so please move along ) Okay enough for today... Tuesday 2points 1points 0points Wednesday 0points 1points 0points
  11. Puh finally finished reading up (? can you say that in english?) on your thread and you're doing really well. Keep that up. Besonders das Deutsch lernen liest sich schon sehr gut
  12. Good that you're feeling well again. Also that con stuff sounds like an real nice way to spend your free-time
  13. No not really. But I was organizing a small punk-festival so it is no suprise that nothing got done. Also work is kinda taxing and I'm feeling like I'm catching a cold so I'm not really getting into this challenge. I researched a food plan for the next week that I will start this weekend. I definitely need to get my food in order again because I'm gaining weight again and that annoys the fuck outta me too :/

  17. The new job is pretty nice (it's a part time job in the logistics department of a high-quality job for spices) but it's exhausting because it's a lot of walking and some heavy lifting but I should get used to that again pretty soon (it's not as exhausting as working as a stagehand + better hoiurs + better pay ) I dressed up as a (beware the next part might be offensive to you) Trump Voter (That's scary as F, even for a German...and we are used to stupids here ) Thank's. As allways there will probably be some changing in the middle of the challenge but I hope it works overall Puuhh that's a pretty hard question: If I had to pick any song I would probably go with either Billy Talent - Fallen Leaves or H2O - One Life One Chance or Broilers (German oi-punk)right now. The first is more fitting to my fellings right now (the feeling the need to get out of your small city not the drugs part) the second is one of my all time favourite PMA motivation songs (H2O is in my opinion one of the best bands if you want Positive Mental Attitude) If I had to pick something from the WWE/wrestling universe (it's realy hard because they are so good in the music selection) it would be the Bayley theme (positive and light), this one (because CM Punk also it's one of the rare hardcore-songs ) or most likely this: because it has a nice oi/ska felling to it also the let's go part somehow get's me motivated every time What song(s) would you choose? (Everyone who would likes to join this please do so I'm always up for good motivating music )
  18. Try runtastic or if you can spare some bucks get a running-clock

  20. Woohoo everyone's coming back to the assassin homebase Looking forward to your challenge
  21. *joins the waiting group mumbling*"any minute now...it's gonna happen soon...I'm sure"
  22. Hooray for the first 5k...if you keep improving that fast you'll be running a marathon the next year (keep that up! It's awesome :D)
  23. I'll just leave this here...;)
  24. So it's challenge time again and here we are now... I have been regenerating (a.k.a. slacking) for 3 weeks now (basicly since I'm back from Scotland) so at the moment there's just one word to describe me.... and I'm gonna spell it out for you: S A W F T SAWFT So the goal is to getting back out of Sawftnes and working to becoming glorious (And as you probably recognized by now I started watching WWE again so that will be the theme of this challenge ) Quest 1 The G in Glorious stands for Geting Good Attitude (a.k.a. PMA all day) One thing I really find notable when watching wrestling is the strong connection they establish between music (aka the entrace songs of the wrestlers) and feeling. You hear a song and you feel psyched (or annoyed) even though nothing has happened yet. Since music is something that drives me I'm gonna try to keep my spirit and motivation up with the following things. -I start the day with motivational music (entrance songs or other music that makes me feel strong, motivated and ready for the day) -I keep the PMA using at least 3 Powerposes per day -I get Sh*t done (I do at least one task that I have been avoiding per day) 1Point each per day (possible 81points) Quest 2 Food Glorious Food To get back on track I will have to get my food sorted out again -I track what I eat through the day using my fitness pal -I make smart food choices -I eat enough through the day so that I don't get hangry in the evening -I drink regularly -I plan and prepare my next move (aka going paloe in the next challenge) 1point per day when food is tracked and calorie goal achieved (total 27points) Quest 3 planning is key to being Glorious At the moment I'm kinda easy going and that's throwing me of so I need a plan when I do things -Plan work-days (if I get the job tomorrow) (1point) -Plan learning sessions (5points) -Plan trainings (1point) -Plan free-time(1point) -Finish Planing the month on tuesday the first (5points) -Plan each week on the sunday beforehand (5points for each week) (33 possible points) 07.11.16:It's not working it has to go New Plan: Plan food for following weeks on friday! Buy the food on saturday 1point for each day with planned food. (14points) Bonus Quest: Glorious is shaping the future - I contact the tattoo-artist (5points) - I contact thesecond running-group (5points) - i contact the lifting gym (5points) - i get pictures taken (5points) - i finish my new CV (5points) - I commit to a thesis theme (5points)NEW (25points) Overall 166 147 points when I achieve 115 100 points or more I buy myself new (motörhead) earphones "LADYS AND GENTLEMAN THE NEXT MONTH IS GOING TO BE.............GLORIOUS!!"
  25. I'm interested in joining too. But since I don't know what I'll do (and where I will be living) next year I'll just lurk arround for now
