  1. How's it going? Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
  2. I feel like you're setting yourself up to fail. You have too high of expectations and and too many things you're trying to fit into one day. Minimize your schedule. Give yourself 30 min or less of stuff to do everyday, outside of your job, and then you can feel a WIN when you accomplish 30 minutes or more. Wins are motivating. Wins help with funks. And for me, creativity comes when it's not on my to do list and I have time... I feel like it. Too high of expectations for yourself can create a lot of situational depression. It also sounds like you have been or are talked into the minimalism/zero waste bandwagon, which are admirable goals, but can become an unhealthy obsession. Yes, the planet might be going in a bad direction, but stressing yourself out about it multiple times a day will take years off of your life. People are more important than things. There are seasons to your life, and this season may not be about waste consumption. Consider goals such as: 1- exercise 2-3 times a week, with the goal of starting the habit - not loosing weight. 2- find a language class 3- eat well, to feel well. If the problem is finding the right grocery store, that's your goal. If it's prep lunches, schedule that in. 4- let everything else go. You can get to it later. 3 goals is plenty. 3. 20- 40 minutes is a great goal. I'd be happy to support you in it! Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk

  5. I kind of went on a vacation from this; I was still doing some of it, but also ignoring it at the same time. Picking recipes to try has been hard; somehow everything and nothing look tasty. I blame my meds. Ruins my appetite. But I like manjule's kitchen blog (authentic Indian) and tv show "fusion grain cooking" / website chefbrad.com. I feel like I've done better with fruit/veggies and less carbs this week. I blame going to Costco. And finally buying more fruit/veggies and telling myself to do less "rationing" for fear it'll be too much food and go bad. I haven't figured out if this is an excuse or a factor - in my motivation to do this challenge, but I am still struggling with post - partum depression. I'm on meds and it does a pretty good job (I log my feelings everyday) but it's not like normal. I can still tell I get angry easier; worry more; care less. Have mood swings. Less logical. I guess I'm trying not too push myself too hard with anything because keeping my emotions fairly level is a big priority. (AKA i don't want to be screaming at my kids because they slurpped their cereal.) Many of my goals support that goal of keeping that balance, however (water, bedtime, good food). I just didn't explicitly state that. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

  8. I've never gotten a prescription for an inhaler. I got an over - the - counter one 10 years ago, that I've used rarely. The over - the - counter one has a TERRIBLE taste, so I avoid needing it. Maybe I should get a new one... Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  9. And your name is insanity. ;-)Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  10. The yogurt turned out AweSome. And he made extra to make ranch dressing which is delicious. Unfortunately I can't really enjoy it with him because dairy causes me eczema. Not sure why he stopped posting up here this week. I've seen him exercising and everything still. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  11. "Thor cliche" - - as the book I just read would say, "rule #1: don't make the obvious joke." Good job with all those miles you are doing! I'm impressed. I'm suddenly wondering if you bike on a bike trail usually, or on streets. .. and if you live where everything is flat. .. i live where there's lots of hills and large mountains are about a 5 minute drive away. I can't imagine doing more than 15 miles in one day. I didn't know bike shorts helped with sore butt. I think I'll add that to my wish list. That's often the thing that cuts my bike rides short. 12. Exercise that interests me - I liked weight lifting when I was in school as a kid. I like doing crunches;... I like turbo jam... ish... I like Latin music zumba. Running is okay, but I get asthma and can't do it in cold weather. I ride my bike all the time (in warm weather)... that's a favorite. Less fun while towing 2 children though. Racquetball... if I had easier access to it... Today I exercised while cooking dinner! I walked back and forth quickly through the house, almost jogging. Then I did 2 or 3 sets of crunches. And then I lifted my 25 lb 3-yr-old up and down while laying on my back on the floor. He enjoyed that. Also got 4 loads of laundry folded. Tonight I pulled most of my junk food out of the cupboards so I didn't have so many temptations in front of me. Put it downstairs in the cold storage. Then wrote down some meals I could make that would use up stuff that isn't the healthiest and is getting old. (sauce packets - Alfredo, Swedish meatballs, Au jus, etc) A grade - played with kids. Ate ZERO junk food!!!!!! Exercised. Todoist. Veggie B grade - bedtime, liquid, Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  13. I updated my goals with ABC grading and associated rewards. But I've kind of ignored stuff for two or 3 days. Today was the first day I actually thought I might actually follow through with "paying myself". Before I was pessimistic, thinking, "with what money? My emergency fund? " Update: today veggies b grade. Foods c grade. Liquid b grade. Todoist A grade. Bed c grade today. Fail yesterday. A grade - night before. Play with kids - a. Was active today. I should add that to exercise section. In other news, I went to my quilt group Christmas party. It was fun. And saw a community nativity display. It was nice. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
