  1. Packing begins for Travel!! Excited !!!! I have never packed so many workout clothes before
  2. Feb 9 I have no idea what I did wrong, my back is just really really sore. Got it checked out , nothing seems to be terribly wrong. But I sure do have a lot of leg days coming my way this week. Giving the upper body a lot of rest. Food has been on point! *story time* I have taken on more courses to learn and develop skills I think I will find useful , and the amount of time they are taking away from me , has actually helped me keep food cravings in check! I prep good stuff for the next day , and have no time to go looking for junk. Happy!!! * Working on keeping water on track too. Put up my first collage piece on the wall, it is a daily routine write up I think I might just go with Quotations from my favourite books, looks minimalistic - and I am not really a photo person anyways. Lets do this !! P.S: I am thinking of doing a Hell Week for the next challenge : ( Hell Week = 20X your productivity , as defined by SEALFIT ) . Going to do a bit of research before I try it. Might not be the thing for me ,yet. Check it out if it sounds interesting to you !
  3. Hello! Kettle bell , running and some yoga-ish exercises today! Food has been on track . Started the bookshelf finally , hence been a bit offline
  4. Day 2 Food : Big bowls of soup with vegetables. Oranges and ...sweet potato fries. Had more than I can justify of those. But okay, will not space out while eating next time. Exercise : Doggy time ! Played for 2 hours. And some normal yoga stretches apart from that. Had a busy day today so packed two activities that take time together . Level Up Goals : No progress. *does the stereotypical Indian thing* Namaste.
  5. Day 1 Food : Cooked way too much fish in the morning , so had fish and steamed vegetables with a lemon+peanuts+miso sauce for all three big meals. Snacks were oranges ( 3 ) and grapes ( about 250 gm ) . Exercise : Basic stretching followed by the trainer-set kickboxing workout with the bag for one hour with 1 min break every 7 mins. Overall good. Will get better. Level Up Goals : Nothing. But hey , I made a nice monthly schedule so I know when I am running , and included redecorating in that calendar..so maybe one percent progress at this ? *does the stereotypical Indian thing* Namaste.
  6. I simply blitzed the nuts in a blender with a tiny bit of olive oil. But I have seen packets of this coating in stores here in India. Not quite sure if they are sold in other countries..
  7. Whoa ! That is one sorted list. Wish you the very best! Keep em on their toes this challenge .
  8. Holy cheese on a cracker, I googled and then tried tilapia with a crushed walnut plus sesame (couldn't find hazelnut) coating . You have handed me a measure good woman. I love it !!! Trying the salmon sometime next week, didn't really find any at the store today.
  9. ALL OF THE FISHES !!!! yes. heard a whole lotta good about shellfish too, actually salivating at the thought of trying them. Thank you for your comment ! Made my resolve iron-clad. Most opportune moment.
  10. I have officially reached the weight range appropriate for my height this month. ( Down from a 100 kgs to 60 kgs ) More importantly, I can actually run !! Without feeling like my lungs are trying to escape from my chest. I think the happiest person is my dog. Best.Accountability.Buddy.Ever. No excuses work on her. Walkies have to be had. Not entire miles , but I do run 5 to 6 minutes fits alongside her. This is the life, man. This is the life.
  11. Hello! Not-so-newbie Assassin here! No one gave a damn about my last thread even though it took me a year to finally work up the courage to post it. So, an unexpected emotional low was a constant companion last challenge, but I will not fear. This is for me primarily, and imagining that people are holding me accountable helps me stay on track. I am going to maintain a thread this time anyways. For me. Most people call me Aidy. I'm 23. I was 67 kgs last challenge , I'm 60 kgs now. 5 feet 3 inches tall. Theme for this challenge Be my own applause. As Martin Yan said, Happiness is within. It has nothing to do with how much applause you get or how many people praise you. Happiness comes when you believe that you have done something truly meaningful. Diet 6 small - mostly vegetarian meals . I tried chicken and fish last month and liked the fish way better , so I am just going to be a pescatarian-paleo. The way I see it , I'll feel too sick forcing down meat I do not like - and will end up eating too little to get any nutrition from it anyways. So my goal this time is to try out various methods of cooking fish and figure out the top 5 ways I like it. Measurable outcome : 5 go-to dishes , original recipes and stuff that doesn't smell so bad that I can't take it to work. Trying a new meat this month too - most probably red meat. Let's see if I enjoy a bit of bite to my bites. Fitness Zumba was last month , and I like dancing but I looooove kickboxing. So switching to kickboxing this challenge and hereon . Kickboxing : 4 days a week for 1.5 hours. Running : twice a week , start with a mile , build to atleast 2.5 miles. I did buy myself a parkour membership last month as a reward to staying with the challenge, but the class starts April. I look forward to it !! I will be in even better shape than I expected to start it in . Level Up Your Life Fill the Collage Wall in front of the study table with quotes and snapshots. : Carry forward from the last challenge . Redecorate! Finish assembling and polishing the bookshelf AND re-organise the kitchen : where in the world did all the tupperware lids come from ? And where are their jars? What is this fluorescent nightmare ??!!! Redecorate will be a Level Up goal for atleast 4-5 challenges , so moving room by room with the furniture building. Also, I changed the place in my title from Mumbai to Goa , because I will spend 20 days in Goa this month. All the better for finding fresh sea food and learning to cook it well. The universe has definitely got my back when it comes to the taste-buds. *does the stereotypical Indian thing* Namaste. Peace out.
  12. Finishing Up. Diet : Excellent. Kept to it. Even on my birthday. Fitness : Excellent-ish. More Very good than excellent. Gotta work on replacing the special five days a month with something more doable. Level Up Your Life Fill the Collage Wall in front of the study table with quotes and snapshots. : Did not even start this. Carry forward goal. Redecorate! Finish building the bookshelf I have already bought wood for and arrange books+knickknacks on it . ( Redecorate will be a Level Up goal for atleast 4 challenges , so moving room by room with the furniture building. ) Progressed. Bought, cut and halfway sanded the wood.
