  1. Following! *pretends to have been here the whole time* Hell yeah glutes! Bret is the man.
  2. I'm FINALLY catching up on all my warriors. I've been downright shameful lately. (yay anxiety. not the point though) You're killing it bruh. Good on you. I bless gains in the name of Brodin.
  3. How on Earth did I miss this thread? I'm so behind on forumming. Shame on me. I see this cycle still repeats. New people worry about breaking the old people old people worry about breaking the new people. When I trained at least the old people would get annoyed if you held back
  4. Starting a volume push for squats to match my bench volume push. That means 20's. They absolutely kicked my ass. Had to bail my last set or very strongly risk puking and/or passing out. Gonna scale it back even more for my next leg workout. The rest of the workout was not any better but I finished at least. Numbers for detail people Squats - 2x20@185lbs Leg Press - 2x10@4 plates Leg Extension - 2x10@110lbs Lying Leg Curl - 2x10@110lbs Calf Raises - 3x40 Oh right and core. Yeah that didn't happen. Other than squatting beltless. Feel free to shame me.
  5. I tend to push hard enough that when I do take a break I come back stronger. Not sure if that's the status quo though. Only undereating tanks my strength. And that can happen within a day or two if it's severe enough.
  6. 175 for 18 yesterday. I'm coming back with a vengeance.
  7. I'm turning into Brodin over here. Yeahhhhhhhh so I slacked off pretty hard last week. Re-energized and ready to hit it hard to finish out the challenge. Part of me is hating myself and part of me is thinking it was a good move because I felt pretty strong in the gym yesterday. Either way I'm back at it. Edit: Adding in my actual lifts for record keeping. Bench Press - 10@135lbs,10@155lbs,18@175lbs Incline Hammer Strength - 2x6@100lbs Dips - 2x15@+25lbs Rows - 4x10@135lbs (2 overhand 2 underhand) Pull Ups - 9,8@+10lbs 1 Arm Rows - 2x10@85lbs (Mehhhhhhh on form. Gonna hold here next week)
  8. Yeaaaa buddy. Ain't nothin but a peanut.
  9. I'm ready. I think I'll be able to handle the volume now. Suppose I should act like I'm involved in this challenge. Thursday! Skipped the gym. Friday! Double workout day. Back and shoulders and legs. Idk why I do this to myself. Overhand Speed Rows - 6x3@75lbs 1 Arm Dumbbell Rows - 3x15@65lbs Cable Rows - 3x15@65lbs Pull Ups - 2x8 Wide Grip Lat Pulldown - 2x15@70lbs (Or something close to this) OHP - 3x10@95lbs Bent Over Lateral Raises - 3x12@10lbs Speed Squats - 6x3@205lbs Leg Extensions - 3x20@100lbs Lying Leg Curs - 3x20@100lbs Hack Squat - 3x10@90lbs Calf Raises - 3x10@180lbs No chest and arms on Saturday. I do too much shit to remember it all.
  10. Who was it that did a Punisher theme last challenge?
  11. Here's my don't be like me speech. It's not the end of the world. Focus on all the good shit in your life. This too shall pass.
  12. Klokov is life. Good luck on the cutting and shit. I'll continue eating all the things.
  13. Is that an actual dog or a beanie baby?
  14. Lower Power last night. Again pretty much the bare minimum. Really having trouble getting these leg workouts going and i'm not sure why. Squats - 3x5@345lbs, 10@225lbs Calf Raises - 3x30@140lbs Edit: Can't forget my core! Hanging Leg Raises - 3x6
  15. My old was definitely not a state of mind. I messed myself up pretty good. Hips, back, shoulders, knees. Something that I've noticed is that the more mobile you are the less you need it. When I started I couldn't do less than 30 minutes before I was able to move properly. Now that I've been working it consistently I don't need much of one but I still enjoy it.
  16. So eager to up my bench. I feel like a newbie all over again. It occurred to me that I forgot to post my Monday workout so here it is! Upper Power Hanging Leg Raises - 3x6 Overhand Barbell Row - 3x12@125lbs 1 Arm Row - 2x10@75lbs Pull Ups - 2x8@10lbs Bench Press - 3x10@115,135,155lbs Incline Hammer Strength Machine - 2x8@90lbs Dips - 2x10, +25 No workout yesterday. Set my nap alarm to the wrong time. Will be hitting legs tonight to make up. Peace out.
  17. That's a young man's game. I'm old now.
  18. You already know it but perfect practice is a must at this stage. You're struggling too much to set your form in. Drop the weight. Grease that groove. Reap bench bro rewards (admiration of peers and ladies alike).
