  1. I was excited until I saw the price tag. :/
  2. Hey Nerds! Steve has been sending out some pretty cryptic emails. I figured we could use this thread to come together and figure things out! According to the last email from Stacey, Steve is headed out of the country and left us a cryptogram. RL RFTT JLLV SKL KLTD GB THE PLJLTTFGT. RL YUOS UJFSL SKL BGUP. QTFQX SKL TGCGO BGP YGPL I tried to decipher it and think I figured it out. WE WILL NEED THE HELP OF THE REBELLION. WE MUST UNITE THE FOUR. CLICK THE LOGOS FOR MORE. The logos of the NFL Rebellion don't lead anywhere but back to the beginning. Any ideas?
  3. Update for yesterday! I did eat fast food, but I found that McDonald's has a really delicious salad that I can get grilled chicken in. So I might modify this goal next time around and focus on what I'm eating, not where I'm eating. My water intake was better. I drank about 62oz of water which is a vast improvement over my usual intake of 0. Meditating was a little easier last night and I felt better for it.
  4. Thanks a lot! I'll give that a go We're all stories in the end. just make it a good one, eh?
  5. Update time! I wasn't feeling all that great today, so it was a bit of a rough day. Goal 1: No soda (yay!) and 36oz of water. I also had some Naked berry almond milk. I...wouldn't recommend it. Goal 2: I didn't work today, so no fast food! I had some oven roasted chicken wings and a glass of water! Goal 3: The running did not happen today, so that will probably wait until Saturday. Life Goal: I did meditate, but it just felt awkward. If you guys have any suggestions on good meditation methods, I'd greatly appreciate it! I'd give today a solid B/B- We're all stories in the end. just make it a good one, eh?
  6. Oh my gosh, this is fantastic. I can't wait to read your adventure! Good job on the goals so far! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
  7. Thanks a lot! I'll definitely figure out a reward system. Just have to figure out something I'll enjoy that doesn't feel like I'm restricting myself from that, too!
  8. "We all change, when you think about it, we're all different people; all through our lives, and that's okay, that's good, you've gotta keep moving, so long as you remember all the people that you used to be." Well boys and girls, I remember the people I used to be and it's time to regenerate! Time to change this old body of mine, but this time I get to choose! I'm pushing 260 lbs and by this time next year I'd like to be down to 180. So what am I going to do about it? Goal 1: Since I've already been working on cutting soda out of my diet, I'm going to instead work on drinking more water and tea! Goal 2: I'm going to cut back on fast food. Unfortunately, this isn't a small step since most of my lunches are from McDonald's. Goal 3: Running! I'm going to run between 1/2 and 1 mile once a week! Life Goal: I've always been curious about meditatiom, so I'm going to give that a shot. I'll start with five minutes a day. Wish me luck!
  9. Sorry all, for some reason my topic uploaded twice and I don't know how to delete one!
  10. Hello everyone! My name is Ethan, and once I hit the post requirement, you can know me on here as Nox! I work for Schwan's Home Delivery, but eventually I'd love to live my dream of performing on stage or preferably screen. I've been involved with theater and music since I was 8 years old and took part in every play/musical my high school put on as well as every choral activity I could get into. Unfortunately, until recently I've been complacent with how I look. Thanks to a couple of friends, I'm ready to buckle down on this and make the changes I need in my life. Current stats: Gender: Male Weight: 260, the largest I've ever been. Height: 5'6" Age: 26 Activity Level: Novice at best. I get my exercise climbing in and out of my truck and walking to customer's doors. Current Nerd Obsession: Doctor Who! Current Goals: - Clean up my eating habits - Weight loss. Ideally down to 180. - Muscle tone. With that much weight loss comes the flabby skin, so I'll need to combat that I want to be able to enjoy life without getting winded. I want to have kids and be able to be active with them. I'm extremely excited to get to know all of you and to get to know a better, healthier me! Allons-y!

I agree with Starsapart.First thing I did was to go with recruit. It's a nice place to start

Not to mention the rules also say to start there, regardless of your interests. :D It's a great learning experience for the NF system as well as a way to make new friends and find your place.
