End of the Challenge: October 23, 2016 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I have a vague level up your life goal again. Anyways, this is all for now. I will share to you how I track my progress in all of my quests and I also need to figure out how to score this thing. I'm all alone in our living room, and the dogs are howling and barking outside this time of the night, it gives me the creeps. *shivers*
  3. That moment you are typing your challenge, and you refresh the page. :dejection:

  4. Let's move on from the previous challenge and on with the new! I'll be following along as I am looking for a job, too! I am now on CV-making stage and I just need that little courage to be able to finish and send it to employers! Maybe you can have an estimate on how much you were drinking soda from the past weeks, so that you have something to compare to. Sometimes, some things are easier said than done. But we can do this!
  5. I like the idea of having a goal of exercising 30 minutes daily than determining the exact exercise routine. For example, even if I didn't do the bodyweight workout I told myself to do this challenge, but instead biked for a mile, or dance crazily in the mirror, I still get my exercise, right?
  6. I love your journal spreads! I was also overwhelmed on tracking things on different papers, notebooks, etc. So I decided to put it all in one journal. Currently it works for me! I hope it works for you, too! The only problem I had was how to organize it so that I won't be confused as to where I'll put the water log, food log, sleep log, etc. but thankfully I managed. I also love Black Widow btw.
  7. Wow, you're now on the NF Diet Level 6 already?
  8. I can't see the links too. I don't think my BuJo looks like the ones on the internet. I think the only design I have for it are the colored pens I am using. Other than that, I just write with my normal handwriting, nothing fancy lettering or drawings.
  9. I tried to learn with Nihongo Master, but I stopped for awhile. I'll try to search for that book on local bookstores. Thanks for the suggestion!
  10. You made me search for Kanban board, and this is a good idea to track to do's! Reading for more...
  11. My Career Timeline I could've told you comprehensively about this, but I decided to be brief and give you the timeline on my path to finding my career. March --> graduated April - August --> preparing my documents for an internship in Japan mid-August --> got rejected on the internship because of some errors on my birth certificate, and the college was making sure I couldn't be rejected in applying my visa remaining August - September --> waiting for the last week of September for some 'vacation' aiming to be a financial advisor So here we are at the last week of September, where I felt I went back to zero after all those things I did. My plan was to restart myself this month and go all the way and do massive applications on October, but something came up. The Dilemma I am currently in the province where there is little opportunity for me to further my career. So in order to do that, I need to move to the city. But last week, my aunt requested me to do something for her: be her representative in managing the construction of her new house. It's more of like doing errands for her, talking to the contractor on what they'll need, etc. And then and there, I was confused on what to do. Stay here in the province where I can afford to be relaxed and do the favor for my aunt, or go to the city and face the unknowns of the corporate world? She said she will pay me for it, but I don't think I could put it on my CV. That's why I am also indecisive about my next challenge. Because if I get to decide on moving to the city and I already set some goals, my fitness goals will be disrupted. Ugh. I think I know what to do but I don't have the guts to do it. Something like that, y'know? And so I'm still floating in the cloud of confusion and indecisiveness.
  12. THOUGHTS Did I get bored with my challenge? Maybe @ajoylucid was right. The workout I set for myself was not challenging enough for me. I mean, I did the bodyweight workout with flying colors last June 4WC, and I'm just doing jumping jacks all the time? The thing is, I decided to do easy workouts because of an incident I had last August. When I tried the routine I had back then, I became dizzy, it felt like my heart was not functioning properly, beating too fast, but not doing enough to retain my consciousness. Also, it was as if someone cut off my oxygen supply from the world, I couldn't breathe, I couldn't stand straight, I felt like dying. That's why I said to myself, "Slow and steady progression Lucent. You will get there again." But I guess I set the bar too low. Am I not happy with my challenge? I was disheartened by the fact that I didn't get to do the workout everyday because I was sick. And I am very particular on the things I get to set myself to. And so right there and there I told myself I will never get that snorkel. Consequently, I didn't get to do any workouts. What's the point? Now I'm just happy that @Bookish Badger suggested to get the snorkel even if I didn't complete the challenge victoriously. And I thought, why not? Nobody's stopping me, and I was looking forward to having it with my trip this week (yay!), so I guess I'm gonna get that snorkel. I think I lost track as to why I started this level up thing in the first place. I'm a petite girl, and I feel like I have a 'just right' body, not too fat, not too skinny. But my stomach, oh my dear stomach, is making me look like I'm four months pregnant, or maybe just three. And so with this, I feel like I'm too fat. But I know I am also the reason why it's like this. They say (Google says), it's because I don't get enough sleep, or because I drink too much alcohol, which I believed is true. During my teen years, I only slept for an average of four hours as much as I can remember. It got worse when I was graduating in high school, where I think I get to sleep for an average of two hours. Thinking about it, it was a miracle I was still functioning properly well going to school during daytime. The reason for my lack of sleep? Oh the projects, homeworks, and other stress that comes with going to school, and the culprit of it all, procrastination. Also, I learned to drink at a very young age, but I was never a drunkard. I just drink occasionally. And so when I started to be on this Rebellion, my main quest was: From a waist size of 34 to 25. At first I was too eager to do this thing. But when I couldn't see any changes on the measurements, I think I lost heart, and thus was not able to follow through when I first did my challenge last January. And so I decided to focus on the things I do, and not on the things I will get. Looking through the measurements now, I did have some progress on this quest I set for myself. Nowadays I also focus on getting a stronger body. But I don't have any reason or motivation as to why I would like to have one. I only have vague memories as to why, but unlike the first main quest I had where I have stronger motivation and why, I don't have any milestone to compare if I was getting stronger or not. I am superbly logging! Yay The one thing I get to do everyday this challenge, is logging, logging, and logging. hahahaha I was being consistent with this so that by the next challenge, I get to somewhat level up my food, water and sleep routine. I didn't get to be a financial advisor this challenge, but I did something to take a step further. I know I should've put some more effort here, but there are just many things I was considering for this quest. *sigh I'm still not finished with the resume (lol), but I just signed up for a session/seminar that was organized by the company I was eyeing to be part of as a financial advisor! It will be happening this Oct. 1, and I'm excited!

  15. One step at a time. Good luck!
  16. I am also doing bullet journals but I in a more simplistic way by not worrying much about designs. That Steamposium sounds so cool!
  17. Where did you learn speaking Japanese? I want to learn, too
  18. I really admire your perspectives after every challenge, and on how you analyze what you did so that you can improve on the next challenge. I'm sure I'll be there for the next one!
