    Rinna's Reboot

Day 5: Made it! Week one is done! Woot!!!! Had a bit of a cheat today, small root beer and 1/2 a twix. BUT I am still under/near my calorie goal. Logged it all, even the cheats. Did my 10,000 steps, plus 3.5 on the elliptical, and my crunch boot camp vid. Feel quite noodle-y. But damn, I made it through week one!!!!!
  2. O.M.G.  I hurt so bad. Please make it stop.

Uh oh, what's up?  Do you need to talk?  Discovering the wonderful world of DOMS?

Oh yeah.. It's my own fault. I let myself get lazy and fat.

Day 4: Switched it up today and did my Lo Max step aerobics, step intervals only. 45 minutes, I remember when this was easy. Well it ain't easy no more. Hurt like hell, I must say. Hubby suggested I wait and just do the elliptical for a bit and let things strenghten back up. Think that may be a good idea. But I will stick with the Crunch Fitness Boot Camp vid, as it hurt for other reasons. Stayed under my calorie goal. Got in my 10,000 steps. Logged my food. Yay. Almost didn't make it. Super duper depressed today, which sucks away my modivation. I usually eat my feelings, so at least

Day 3:. Success. Stayed under my caloric goal, check. Got my 10,000 steps, check. Did three miles on elliptical, check. Logged every bite, check. Now to battle the Dragon of Dispair a.k.a. my battle with depression. Tomorrow, tomorrow, it's only a day away.
  5. Good to know. He's 12 and curious/not curious, if you know what I mean. So maybe better wait. Or hide it.....
  6. It sounds like you're off to a good start. The universe doesn't always comply with our wishes, so we do our best. Dogs are sneaky little suckers. My Lab dislocated my kneecap once, and on a separate occasion clocked my under the chin and made me see stars. Just like in the old cartoons! To quote Dory, "Just keep swimming"
  7. ~These are a few of my favorite things ~Can't watch Big bang much anymore, they go off the rails too often. Don't wanna explain some of that to my son. Welcome to NF!

    Rinna's Reboot

Day 2:. So far, so good. Tuesday is my cheat day, seeing as we bake at work, and I had a cookie. Okay, two cookies. BUT, I still met my other goals. Hit my 10,000 steps, and did 3.6 miles on the Hell-machine, I mean elliptical. And even with the cookies, still stayed under my caloric intake goal. Once again I passed by the evil soda stash. That one was hard, let me tell you, espescially since they are "diet". I learned the other day that dark sodas inhibit magnesium absorbtion, which explains the awful jimmy legs ( restless leg syndrome), poor sleep, fatigue, leg cramps, etc. so that is hel
  9. I'd love to be Be able to pull off Black Widow. You know, without making folks want to barf.....
  10. Welcome! I play Skyrim, and have looked at Dragon Age, but am worried about content. Is it a "safe"game? ( Main worries are sex, nudity. Have a young-ish son.)
  11. Oh my. Someone beat me with a stick. Repeatedly. Oh wait, that was me.....

  12. Lunges are painful. I had knee surgery years ago, and squats, lunges kill me. Heck, sometimes just walking kills me. After my day one, my knee felt all stiff and weird. Today will be a brace day for sure. Looks like you're off to a good start, keep up the good work! You got this!

Thanks! It was a battle, let me tell you. We sell Little Debbies where I work, and it's sheer hell looking at them.

Oh, it totally kicked my a$$. It's only 30 minutes, but 30 minutes od squats, lunges, pushups, and hand weights. I feel like someone beat me with a stick.

    Rinna's Reboot

Day 1: sucess! I logged all my foods. I ignored the sodas in the fridge at work. I logged 3 miles on the eliptical, in addition to my 4.5 just walking at work. And, get this, I did my Crunch Fitness Boot Camp video. I now feel like a giant noodle. A very sore, painful noodle. Obviously, I can't keep that pace up daily at this point, but the boot camp will be Mondays and Fridays at this point. The eliptical will be daily, I hope. Yay! I done good. Now for a bowl of ice cream. Just kidding. No ice cream for me. Especially after all the crap I've been esting lately.

Well, it does when I use it......but then I see all the, ahem, stuff I ate.

    Rinna's Reboot

So, I tried this in January and failed miserably. Then I ignored the next couple of challenges, fell into way to many sweets. So here I am again, hoping to do better this time. I have gained even more weight, and I refuse, REFUSE, to buy more pants. I will not have fat pants! So my goals are as follows: 1. TRY to eat moderately, staying away from candy and sweets as much as humanly possible 2. Remember to log Every. Stinking. Thing. I. Eat 3. Exercise daily, in addition to my 10,000 steps 4. Try not to sink into the depths pf dispair when I slip up, cuz knowin

    Rinna--

So. All my lives are used up, and I am at the respawn point. I will keep my same goals, and hope that stress/depression and more importantly, illness don't interfere so damnned much.

    Rinna--

Interesting choice of gif thingy. We just watched that a couple days ago! And today, A Small Victory. I resisted both the cookies and the sodas! And I'm hoping shoveling snow counts as a workout, because after being sick for 4 days I got nothing left.

    Rinna--

I have meds for the depression, starting to think I need to up the dosage, even though I don't want to. My belief is that it's hormone related, as I am approching that age. But Docs all say I'm still too young for it. But am I really? Plus, I don't handle stress well, at all. Come by that honest, as my grandma would say. Runs in my family. I like to think I know better than to go cold turkey. That's why I let myself have sugar in my weekend coffee. But, then I get overtired (or sick, thank you lovely family) or depressed and reach for the candy. Or soda. I believe that sugar is an addic

    Rinna--

I tried stevia once upon a time, and found it....nasty. The aftertaste. I used splenda in my coffee most days, but yeah, sodas are my downfall. And lemonheads. I love those suckers. I also need to go back to gluten free. But, bread! Also a downfall. 😙 Got the alarm to work, use it weekday mornings. Only scared the crap out of myself once. (My face was laying on it.) And it's less startling than the real alarm.
