  1. Viel Gluck! What kinds of workouts do you like to do/plan to do?
  2. Hey Zho! I'm somewhere in the 4'11" height space (I claim five feet typically, I believe in rounding up) and I know us short people have to stick together I have to say your drawings are pretty darn cool to me. I realized when I read your thread that I didn't give myself any options for rewards! Seems to me the best excuse to look around on Amazon for a while. Cheers!
  3. Update on First Quest on day 2. Our wonderful daughter seems to have started teething and is a raging dragon. Can't really blame her, it's probably pretty painful. Plus today, our dog had an upset stomach and just kept getting sick. So....clingy baby and sick dog. But I *DID* get in a workout with weights. Legs are a little shaky now. I've done pretty well with eating veggies, but for lunch today I only had spaghetti and the sauce was low on veggies, so I don't think I'll count that. Needed more effort. But I hit up the grocery store yesterday morning *after* breakfast and bought plenty of good stuffs to eat, so that'll help me stay on track. Onward!
  4. Thanks! At home, I have MiO, and I've decided that either tea or lemonade is acceptable when I'm out. Right now, I'm enjoying apple cider as a nice substitute. If the cravings get strong, I like carbonated water and MiO
  5. Thanks for the support and encouragement! I'm looking forward to the support of the forum. And frankly, I'm not sure how anyone survives parenthood either. We're totally winging it, lol.
  6. Greetings, fellow rebels! So I've been a Nerd Fitness fan for a few years now, but I've never tried a challenge. Always had excuses, blah blah blah. Five months ago I gave birth to my adorable daughter and have mostly loss the pregnancy weight. I'd like to have another child, but I want to be better able to handle the additional weight of pregnancy, as well as keep up with my current little one. Plus, I've hit thirty and rounded the corner of 31, and I want to feel good about my body and live a nice long life. In addition, I LOVE food and I also enjoy the way my body feels when I've lifted weights or had an intense workout (after the workout...not necessarily during, especially for cardio). So those feelings will be the driving force behind my challenge. I want to be healthier overall, and I'm very okay with looking great naked being the natural side effect. So, here goes! MASHIARA'S LEVEL ONE CHALLENGE: *My goal for the year is to lose 30 pounds Diet No soda. No excuses.Eat vegetables with every meal every day-even if it's just 3 carrots or a few bites of broccoli. Potatoes don't count.Take my vitamins (prenatal, vitamin d-I'm deficient- and omega 3's) every day Fitness Complete a weight lifting circuit at least twice, preferably three times a week. Level Up In Life Spend half an hour outside at least three times a week.I'm completely new to the challenges, I've mostly just read articles on this site. So I'd greatly appreciate suggestions and support
