      Thanks everyone! It was great fun. Unfortunately the main trail was closed due to a fallen tree but there were a number of side trails I wandered along which was just as fun I think.

  12. Succumbed to stress and ate some heavily salted fries. They were worth it but I'm getting back on track now.

  13. Gambit (my cat) is being snuggly. He's next to me on the pillow purring his fool head off. What a lovable boy.

  18. Got my dumbbell press up another 5lbs! I struggled with it a little but I won and completed full sets. :D

  19. Stayed up later than intended. I blame the book I was reading and my own lack of self-control. It's really good though!

      It's called "The Warded Man" by Peter V. Brett. I finished it this morning and am already craving the next one. It was an easy read but that's about all I can handle during a semester.

  21. Leafed through a "Women's Strength Training" book the other day and almost flung it at the wall. The heaviest weights listed for the dumbell press were 10lbs. I'm doing 15lbs and I'm still weak. It's infuriating being told by a book that I should be lifting less when I want to work up to lifting more.

      I actually really enjoyed it for the most part. Not a fan of the military press but I can easily sub in dumbbell shoulder presses. Back squats are fantastic and probably my new favorite thing.
