  1. Hi and welcome! You've made some good progress so far! Some of the things you want to do "someday" like camping and hiking are doable right now.(I want to try indoor rock climbing) Freaked of heights so that is ONE of my "courage quests". About vegetables- I too struggle with this so a few months ago I bought a nutribullet. Every single day I load it with some green leafy stuff (spinach or kale) cucumbers slices (always),a raw superfood powder (walmart sells), a whey powder (not paleo) some type a frozen fruit (strawberries or Blueberries) a handfull of walnuts/almonds and usually brewed ice green tea for the liquid. This has helped me get added nutrients that I would otherwise not get. I still eat vegetables with my meals but this helps me get more. I hope this helps some and I wish you much success!
  2. I'm also unable to do high impact exercises. I've already ruined (and replaced) one knee so in order to keep my real parts my ortho okay'd the elliptical. After warming up at a slow level 1 for 5 min (forward and backward), I jack up the level to 16-18 which increases heart rate. I stay there for a short minute or two and then lower it back down bringing my heart rate down. I do this repeatedly for 30 min (or so). It feels a lot like walking in sand up a steep hill. Basically, intervals on the elliptical. I do not use the handle bars or arm bars at all. Its my preferred method of cardio before just walking.

  5. Anyone having issues with the epic quest character ? Based on my xp pts I should be at 95/100. My XP bar reads 65. I unchecked all my quests to see whats going on and with everything unchecked, I'm NEGATIVE 30 !?!?!? LOL Let me know if this is happening with you too!

  7. Hello and welcome! I'm brand new myself and am just learning my way around here Why not start slow by doing what you love? (like walking) Read some archived NF articles, they are also inspiring and helpful. What I have learned for myself is once I start something, and get going, it helps my momentum and then I gradually do more and more sometimes without even realizing it. Whatever your goals, this seems like a good place for support and I wish you luck!

  11. Hello Rebels ! I wasn't able to post in the regular intro thread and somehow found my way here. I see I'm not alone with the error 504 issue. I've been collecting underpants for way too long and am so ready to move on to phases 2 and 3! I'm pretty sure this community will be the place to do that! I've been reading NF blogs for a few years now, but new to the forums. I'm very excited to be here. I'm halfway through reading Level Up Your Life and have created my avatar and alter ego Rebel Charms. I will make her public soon. I am definitely an adventurer/monk/warrior hybrid of sorts. Strong and sturdy with a desire to explore, see and do everything! Oh and at age 50, I'm training to be a kickboxing bad ass! Who knew!?!?!?! Is there a place to see other Rebels' public avatars to gain inspiration? Thanks and nice to "meet" you. Jackie
