  2. I´ll take a look at two bands this and next weeks wednesday, especially for the next weeks one I´m pretty excited. I´m already writing a lot with their rhythmguitar player and we seem to be on the same page in many points. They´re making a mix of Korn, System of a down, Trashmetal and Funk (WTF is this mix?! ) and they´re excited about me adding some Iron Maiden bass style and Rammsteinpower to it. If those two bands won´t work I´ll start something special. Week 2, day 1 and 2) Goal 1) Train to beat Hitler in the final battle (Do your strongliftish workout 3 out of 7 a week, log your numbers and progress here) Pretty sore today, so I´ll lift tomorrow, thursday and saturday Goal 2) Fuel your body with awesomeness, no food nazi stuff! (Eat good stuff and track it, don't drink sodas! They're nazi magic and harm you!) Managed to do one day without soda, one day I couldn´t. Didn´t track sunday, but did today. So it´s 1/2 and 1/2 Goal 3) Be your own greatest ally! (Work on mindset by meditating daily and add something to your "Be thankful" list every morning Thankful list 1/2, Meditating 2/2 Goal 4) Balance inner child and adult (Do something adult every day like paper wars, get a bonus point when doing it before gaming and other fun stuff) 1/2 because sunday was funday Bonus Quest: Dating and be an awesome single! 14 suggested by App, 2 data corpses and 7 nopes from my side, 7 girls that are cute but don´t respond. It starts wrecking my selfesteem...I´m totally not trying to date out of my league in my view, but somehow it´s pulling down my motivation.   3. I´m definitely fine. There´s always a bigger fish to get impressed by (and there are always tiny fishys you smile at when you take the way bigger plates to bench with )
  4. That sounds really insightful. One thing I can totally relate to is the tired/no sleep thing. It´s totally a stress reaction, so all you can do (according to the doctors) is reducing stress. Having an eye on stress level and try to reduce as much stress as possible and improving your sleep qualitiy is all you can do.
  5. I agree on that point with the 1000cards and it´s one of the reasons I stopped playing it. The newest sets are always the most op ones, so you had to buy or trade them. And being a musician isn´t the cheapest hobby you know^^
  6. I´m feeling a bit ashamed...it could have been me and my buddy at the gym late saturday evening Though we didn´t chat for 20 mins between sets and it was at least half about fitness related themes.

  8. I´ve been lifting this weekend too and it was aweful regarding technique and weights. It´s this humid heat in Germany, so don´t mind it. At least you lifted! Magic is awesome! I played it for years, there were times I went into the city 1-2 times a week to play with random people at the game store.
  9. As a bass player I always feel like a hot gaming chick on a dating site...when I´m doing my advertisements in Facebookgroups etc that I´m searching a band, I get tons of calls for it. There are 1-2 interesting bands, one of them will be met at wednesday. I´ll take my time and only become a band member anywhere when I´m 100% positive on it. Challenge a new person to do this every day you do it. Don´t mind if you don´t like to military at all, I don´t too. But mental issues need more awareness! Music: And I´m bandless now. I didn´t like it, but it was a necessary step into freedom. One of my best mates playing guitar in it doesn´t change the fact that the music style changed over the last weeks into something I can´t refer too any longer. Even bigger is, that I don´t have the best chemistry with our new singer. And before I put pressure on it like "choose between him and me" when the overall tendency goes into changing to something more metal, I take my hat and leave them in friendship. Had a great BBQ plus conversation with my bandmates and everything is cool now. Sadly the semipros didn´t send me anymore messages about what´s going on. I think they forgot me or are simply buttholes. Nevermind, their drummer was stoned all the time and took joint during the audition break, so I guess I wouldn´t be the perfect fit either way. More updates today evening or tomorrow, be awesome!!!

  14. I don´t like anything military too, but as a mental jail nurse I know how creepy and and "surprising" such mental issues are to most of us. "This came out of nowhere, why did he/she commit suicide?" Being aware is important! I don´t blame anyone who doesn´t want to support this and it is no chainletter like "you will be impotent and die from cancer when you don´t". Feel free to challenge me for anything, as long as it isn´t cardio. I hate cardio
