  1. yeah smoking does all sorts of bad, its a hell of a thing to quit though. I made it 3 weeks in January then relapsed, but I plan on taking another swing at it this weekend once my midterms are over. I know that I have a real easy time not smoking after any sort of physical exertion, so maybe my gym time will help. Um so, on a side note, I'm a little unfamiliar with this whole forum thing. I posted here cause I figured that it would create extra layer of commitment for myself (And the book told me to come here lol), but there has got to be other ways this can help me, right?
  2. Hi, I'm "Mars" and I am from Calgary, Alberta. I am 21, and ridiculously skinny right now, weighing 140 lb at a height of 5' 11". I used to work out when I was in high school, but I haven't for a few years now. I think its time to get things back on track and I hope to weigh at least 175 lb a year from now (No idea if this is realistic or not, I just liked the sound of the number). My main reasons for doing this are to improve my energy levels and rebuild my confidence. So I just bought the NF e-book and am planning on doing the basic training for a month or so (started two days ago), then I plan on joining my friends at the gym after that. As for my plan, I intend to just eat as much food as I possibly can (Mostly a cheap student diet, with some vegetables and stuff thrown in), and work out Mon/Wed/Fri (My days off classes). I'm also thinking of doing cardio on weekends but I need to quit smoking first (hopefully exercise will help that). Anyway, not sure what else I should say, so hello again!
