Battle Log: April 13th, 2016 Workout: Bodyweight Brigade Lvl 1B 17 One Arm Dumbbell Rows (Milk jug) 12 Bodyweight Lunges (Semi Assisted) 12 Close Grip Knee Pushups 22 Step Ups with Knee 13 Reverse Crunches :30 Lateral steps Circuit x3 Followed by 10 minutes of Meditation I switched from doing jumping jacks to doing Lateral steps. Mostly because I HATE the jumping jacks. I realized that I shouldn't be doing an exercise I have no love for, so I switched it up. I'm much happier now and I don't dread the workouts anymore. Battle Log: April 8th, 2016 Workout: Bodyweight Brigade Lvl 1A 5 Traditional Pushups and 5 Knee Pushups18 Body weight Squats:17 Plank:30 Jumping Jacks Circuit x3 I was sweating way more than usual during my workout this morning. It was much harder today. Especially the traditional pushups. I may maintain the 5 Traditional Pushups for one more week till I feel more comfortable. Followed by 10 minutes of Meditation Breakfast 2 eggs scrambled with baby spinach 2 slices bacon Sauteed sweet potato wedges I upped my calorie intake a week or so ago. I've been having a while sweet potato with breakfast instead of just half. I've also started eating a bit of rice, but I keep forgetting to log it lol. I was eating white rice. But I ran out. I'm going to buy some oats or brown rice next time I go good shopping Snack cashews Dinner lemon pepper chicken on a bed of roasted baby carrots
  9. Battle Log: April 7th, 2016 Workout: Yoga Water Series B It was a little easier this morning. But even with the yoga mat, it tends to hurt my knee when it's on the ground. I don't feel guilty, but my body did not like that one bit

Battle Log: April 1st 2016 Workout: Bodyweight Brigade Lvl 1A 4 Traditional Pushups and 6 Knee Pushups17 Body weight Squats:16 Plank:25 Jumping Jacks followed by :05 Running in Place Circuit x3 Followed by 10 Minutes of Meditation This morning's workout was hard as hell. Maybe I just went into it with the wrong mindset. I worked kind of late last night and I got enough sleep. I think it's because of my schedule being off. Usually I go to bed around 1030 and am up bright and early ready to go! But last night, I went to bed at 1am and woke up at 930am. I felt groggy. Meditation wasn't any easier. I kept getting distracted. I'll keep trying. I'll find that peace eventually i'm sure of it. Also, I've been logging my dreams. They get weirder and weirder the more I retain.   16. Battle Log: March 31st 2016 Workout: Yoga Water Series B Followed by 10 Minutes of Meditation Water series B is Waaaaaaaaaayyy harder. I could barely do any of the poses. Especially that awkward one where your leg is behind your hip. Geez. Meditation was hard today. For some reason, I just couldn't turn my mind off and JUST concentrate on my breathing. Also! I've been training myself to lucid dream. Only started last night, but let's see if I make anything crazy happen. Like I have super powers and i'm Jennifer Lawrence's only hope for survival. That was awesome! I hit PR's for EVERY SINGLE WORKOUT! Gawd it felt good. Breakfast 2 Scrambled Eggs with Spinach (BF) 2 Slices Bacon Sauteed sweet potato wedges (BF) Snack Cashews Dinner coconut curry chicken, bacon, and broccoli (made with coconut milk) (This was an experiment that went amazingly well)
  18. Battle Log: March 29th 2016 Workout: Yoga Water Series A 10 minutes Meditation It was a little easier to do the yoga. I still can't hold the lunges for very long. But I expect to be able to do the entire workout correctly without stopping and curling in a heap of me in child's pose for a couple minutes by the end of next month (April). We'll see. You'd think the first thought in my head would be how intense the workout was, but no. It was "Holy Sh** my floor is dirty". During meditation, I found it really hard to stop thinking. Seriously, It was damn stressful trying to not think of anything and just focus on my breathing. Battle Log: March 23rd 2016 Workout: Bodyweight Brigade Lvl 1B 15 One Arm Dumbbell Rows (Milk jug) 10 Bodyweight Lunges (Semi Assisted) 10 Close Grip Knee Pushups 20 Step Ups with Knee 11 Reverse Crunches :10 Running in Place followed by :20 Jumping Jacks Circuit x3 I added some additional reps because it started to feel a bit easy. This time I was huffin' and puffin' all the way through. I really need to quit smoking. It's definitely affecting my workouts. I walked to work again today. I've been doing it everyday since I started this. I'm not sure if it was because I worked out pretty hard today or something else. But I was completely ravenous.
  25. Battle Log: March 22nd 2016 Workout: NF Yoga Water Series A I'm not even a little bit flexible. This was made perfectly clear to me this morning. Thankfully, I had a wall next to me otherwise I would have fallen flat on my face. The warrior poses were the hardest for me. But I know I just need to keep at it. The reason I started doing yoga as well as body weight training is that a couple weeks ago. We had a band come into our club to play a set. The lead singer must've been in his mid to late 60's, but he was doing freakin' flips and handstands. My jaw dropped to the floor. I mean, come on, that's impressive for an old dude! So after the show, I went up to him and asked how he was able to do all these amazing moves, and he said one word. Yoga.
