  1. Loving the goals even more. being able to change things as you see whats best is great.
  2. So far so good on the working out. I haven't skipped one yet and I just ordered 3 more DVD's, since the two I have in rotation are becoming redundant. I have been surprising myself with how well I have been staying within my calories. I made the mistake of jumping on the scale yesterday. I haven't lost any weight (surprise surprise), but my clothes are fitting so much better. Facepalm moment when I knew I should've measured before I started. It really isn't all that important, but its nice to have numerical data showing progress. In that sense, I am having to up the amount of weight I'm lifting, so there's that. Not going to lie, I've been slacking on steps. I'll have 3000 one day and 12,000 another so I figure it evens out. This week I'm really focusing on staying hydrated. I have also started meditating, which is really new to me. I may make these two thing my goals in another challenge, but right now I'm just seeing how I do on my own.
  3. I second ^^ that. I have knee issues and doing squats would killllll. Finally figured out it was my form and haven't had issues. Might want to look into that.
  4. So, with me focusing more on lifting, I thought I would come browse over here. Imaging my surprise seeing you! hahahah following along:)
  5. Got my workout in this morning!!! I've been doing The Firm Get Chisel'd and 500 Calorie Workout alternating every other day. I love when you start a workout and it's super hard and as time goes on it gets easier and easier. I am, however, sooooo sore. Yay DOMS
  6. Yeah, they're simple enough, but some how always trip me up. I am trying hard not to have a domino effect. So far so good! Happy to have you along!
  7. Love your challenge and congrats on the BMI!!! Totally been a challenge of mine. Following along for progress..... and the cats.
  8. Yeah, I really try to love MFP but something about that bar and the red numbers makes me uneasy. Keep us posted on the Whole 30. I desperately want to do that too, but hubby isn't exactly on board.
  9. Thanks! It's always hard to get back in the swing of things, but it's long over due and I am so ready.
  10. I highly recommend SworkIt, MyFitnessPal, and PlantNanny. They're the main ones I use for my goals. Also, Habitica.
  11. WOOHOO!!!! Congrats @Tanktimus the Encourager and @darkfoxx!!!!!
  12. Well, after taking the summer off, it's time to get back to it. I've seriously missed this community and all the accountability. Small goals, just getting back into it. I will workout 3x/wk - MFP I will remain within my caloric goal - MFP I will get at least 7500 steps on non-w/o days - fitbit Bonus - I will meal prep and make weekly menus accordingly.
  13. Following for two reasons: 1) those are goals I need to make myself 2) I just LOVE honey badgers *shrugs*
  14. Is it bad that my first thought was, "now THIS is the level of energy I need to get through my days"?
  15. This just in: Lunges are evil. Pretty sure I am dying..
  16. You and me both. Healthy boundaries and self acceptance are constant goals of mine. That's awesome that you have taken steps to identify what you need to work on and are working towards those goals. You can definitely break free from those chains
  17. oh. my. gosh. I LOVE your challenge & theme!!! Following along.
  18. Thanks! The link that @Jormungand posted was helpful for the bathroom workouts. Squats, sink push ups, and tricep dips. I am also including different variations of lunges. This week is going great, actually. It's been nice weather here, so I have gone for a 15 min walk in the morning and evening. I have been tracking my food (goal from the last challenge) much more accurately. The first couple days are always hard when starting something new, but I am getting into the swing of things and feeling very good. Week 2 and 3 have a history of being rather rude to me, though.
  19. Welcome back!! I absolutely love your goals.
