  1. Myrik comes to next to a large building surrounded by several people all wearing a matching brooch on their cloaks. One larger man notices that Myrik has come to.  “Welcome back to the land of the living.”  Myrik tries to sit up but his muscles scream their refusal causing his head to start spinning and causing him to nearly lose consciousness.  “Whoa there take it easy.” calls a  lean red headed man.  “Don’t pass out on us again.” Where am I?” Myrik asks finally finding his voice.  “A place impossible to find unless you belong here.”  says the larger man “This is the Guild Hall of the Rangers.” states the Red head “If you are here you must be one of us. Where are you from?” “Not sure you would believe me if I told you,” Myrik smiles weakly “Try us, you might be surprised,” challenged the red head.

     

    Goal I: Monkiilife

    Start back up with my Monkii Bar training 3 times a wekk

     

    Goal II: Viking Conquest 

    I signed up to do the Viking Conquest "Race" on Yes.fit.  It is a 65.3 mile "race"  through the Viking Homelands of Scandinavia to the Norwegian Sea, illuminating the culture, activities, and beliefs of the Vikings.  So my plan for this is to finish it by the end of the 5 week challenge which would be around 13.1 miles a week.  I can be biking, Running, Walking or Rollerblading.  

     

    Goal III: Domestic Ranger

    Now that the holidays are over its time to get my house in order. To do this I will start by getting the front room /  My office cleaned up, organized and decorated.  Once that is done move on tot he Living room followed by my bedroom.

     

    Goal IV: Find the Hype thief and make them pay

    i just got confirmation my running shoes have been shipped!

     

    I paid a ridiculous low amount for it, so i was waiting for a message telling me they made a mistake on the price! Well, guess not!

    It's the Brooks GTS17 (i also own the GTS7 and GTS14), the GTS18 from this year cost €140 i found the GTS17 in between €100 and €110. But at Amazon Germany this color was €45 WOOT WOOT!!!

    Lovin the challenge.  I still don't have mine up and not sure where i'm going with it yet but I'll figure it out.  As for the shoes I am Jelly.  I have a pair of Brooks GHOST 9's that i love.  Needless to say I will be following along for this #NEWBchallenge2018

    Welcome brother.  Yes it was devoid of quotes.  Thanks for this one. 

     

    Yesterdays workout was a bit rough.  I slept funny on my should and either pinched a never or strained my muscles or something but it was bugging me and hurting a little.  I figured some light stretching and low impact workout would losen it a bit, i was wrong.  It started feeling even more tight and sore so I stopped.  I put some Tiger balm and a heat pack on it before going to my Church community group, all through the get together it was sore, towards the end they prayed for healing over my shoulder and it felt some much better almost instantly.

    Yes DOMS arrived the following day.  The night of i had a hard time driving home due to shoulders and arms being worn out.

  6. Hey fellow rangers sorry I have been absent.  Been distracted getting some stuff done to get ready for my trip after Thanksgiving.

    Got a really good workout in last night

    My shoulders and back are shot.

  7. So last week was a flop.  I took some time off work to decompress and well that lead to me not doing anything fitness wise other than walking for trunk or treating.  So i'm back on the grind this week.

    Its bodyweight mostly, but it uses Monkii Bars(TRX) suspension training.

The months flow by Myrik and the Rascals pull off several runs flawlessly.  They begin to attract the attention of The Great Dragon Hestaby.    Hestaby needs a smaller lesser known group to move against Lofwyr’s Saeder-Krupp holdings in Los Angeles.  Grinder calls the team to the hanger.  “Okay guys this is going to be a dangerous run but very lucrative.  Hestaby has graciously advanced us half of the agreed upon fee.  She wants us to infiltrate what she believes to be a holding of Saeder-Krupp, Angelic Entertainment.  She wants us to infiltrate their main office and find proof that they report to Saeder-Krupp.”  The team prepared for the run, getting SINS for PCC and setting up a safe house in Los Angeles’s Downtown, as well as a pass to enter LA’s prestigious Studio City where Angelic Entertainments offices and studios are located.  “Okay Myrik and Shade you two are going to Angelic’s party tonight to celebrate the launch of their new SimSense line.  Once inside the office we need you to place several small sonar and radar device.”  “Any places we need to focus on boss?” Myrik asks.  “Main hall, entryway and anywhere you can safely get without blowing your cover we will need your SINS to get into Studio City tomorrow night for the run.   Drone have you got the modification to the car done?” “Yes boss 4 unscanable and nearly undetectable compartments for the ground team” Good, Glitch how goes the matrix runs against them?”  “Not good to be honest, for a small entertainment company they have some serious firepower in their servers, several Black IC that all have tracer IC piggy backing on them.  I can take out the Black IC without much issue but there is evidence of an Otaku or Technomancer on their system.  I tripped an alarm and within seconds a persona popped up and started after me.  I was able to slow them down and get out before being traced but if the ground team or I trip an alarm I won’t be able to offer matrix cover and it will be all hands on.”  “Luckily Myrik was able to procure a breacher rifle” quips Havok

     

     

    Goal I: Strength

    Pick a 3 workouts from the Monkii app and do them every week.  (I'll list me 3 picks here when i pick them)

     

    Goal II: Endurance

    End of November is a family vacation so I need to increase my endurance and start doing family walks getting the kids ready for 12+ hour days on our feet walking and standing around.

    Also need to start running again because I plan on running a virtual 5K for Christmas (Jingle all the K's)

     

    Goal III: Mental

    Destiny 2 comes out on the PC Tuesday and I plan on getting my clan ready for raids

    Need to finish American Gods

    Get my table top group back together and finish or start a new campaign.

    Yeah I like rap and this fits much better for me being a Christian.  He is part of a much bigger group knows as 11Six (Romans 1:16). Also if you like his sound NF is another christian artist you might like.

    I usually require and expect a lot from myself so when I set out to do something that was WAY more difficult than anticipated, it's always a good humbling experience :)

    Well I already do...  My co-worker, the one I workout with, hooked me up with his spare copy of Destiny 2.  So I have 3 characters already raid ready on the PS4.  It has been great fun.  Now i will have 6 Characters to level and do the weekly guild Xp on to help my guild level faster.

  13. Time to close out this month.  Sorry I have been missing for the last 10ish days. 

     

    Goal I:

    Monkii Tactical Training 2, 3 days a week.

     

    Had to modify this one because the Tactical Training proved to be above my current ability.  Kept up on doing some sort of training with the monkii bars 3 times a week unless I was lifting that week with my co-worker.  I would say I'm at an A for the modified goal.

     

    Goal II:

    Track calories again without a limit or goal in mind

     

    I didnt do as good at tracking as i would have liked but I did it more than a 3rd of the month so Ill give myself a C.

     

     

    Over all this month was a great month for me.  Learning my limits with the Monkii Bars.  Now to figure out next months goals and challenges.  Destiny 2 comes out on the PC in a week so i will tie that in some way shape or form...

  14. No worries Wolf.

     

    Today's workout was a doozy...

     

    4 rounds of 3 complex exerises

    1) Row + Curl 10 reps

    2) Monkii Complex (Pushup, Fly, V-Out) 8 Reps

    3) Tuck+Pike 10 Reps

     

    Started to feel a little nauseous after the 3rd round so took a little break and knocked out the 4th round. 

  15. Been a quick minute since I checked in...  Been fighting a cold and my friend hooked me up with a copy of Destiny 2 on the PS4. Been enjoying that while waiting for the PC.  Will be getting in a great workout tonight thanks to my cold finally subsiding.

Did my work out starting at 11pm and went until Zero dark Thirty.  The workout was great did a bunch of chest, back and shoulder workouts.  Didn't record or really keep track of them but did multiple Monkii workouts targeting each muscle group.  Hardest part tonight was the Planche Pushups.  After that I ran some shuttle sprints and i feel fantastic.

  17. Alright update time.

     

    Thursdays workout was mostly stretching and mobility work.  Did some lifting also, a few triceps cable presses and some over hand curls.

     

    Friday was a down day, went shopping for running and workout shoes at an outlet mall near me, couldn't find what i was looking for.  Tried on a pair of Reebok Nanos, not sure how people can workout in them, every movement seemed to pinch somewhere.  

     

    Saturdays workout was Monkii .357 this one is a core killer.  My lower abs are on fire still.  Added some planks for the mini to the end.  1 minute high plank and 2 30 second side planks.  Wasn't able to complete day 3 of week 2 in the tactical training because of the sheer number of pullups involved so I am putting it on hold and going back to improving my pullup game.
