  1. Unfortunately, I'm very familiar with the soreness and lactic acid build-up feeling. The last time I tried to reboot my workout I could not even sleep from the burn. So this time around I want to be prepared for it. It felt so good to start again and I don't want stop this time around. Thanks for your input.
  2. Hello, After close to 2 decades, I decided to start working out again. I've got a treadmill, a workout bench, and a set of dumbbells. Yesterday, I put a quick routine together that included using the treadmill and the dumbbells for a full body workout and plenty of rest. Though it wasn't too intense, I'm afraid of the soreness aftermath. So, besides drinking plenty of water and resting, what else do you recommend I try? Is it OK to use over-the-counter pain relievers like ibuprofen, etc.? I know most of everyone in this program is much younger than I am, though. Still looking forward to your input and comments. Thanks.
