Warm-up Plank: 1 min, 1 min, 1 min Bicep Curls: @35 lbs 8, 7, 5 OverHead Press: @30 lbs 10, 10, 10 Goblet Squats: @45 lbs 15, 15, 15 Chest Press: @45 lbs 10, 10, 5 Goblet Side Lunges: @30 lbs 10, 6, 4 1-arm Rows: @45 lbs 10, 10, 10 Stretching So today, I pushed my Chess Press Weight to 45 lbs (while fearing for my life that I would drop the dumbbell on my own face). All was well until my left hand starting cramping up. So now that fear was rising, so I stopped at 5 reps. Other than that, I'm going to push the Goblet squats and the 1-arm rows to 50 lbs. Also I'll increase the Overhead Press to 35 lbs.

  5. Ha ha ha! I've always had terrible memory, but those years were at the end of my Bachelor's degree and I was then a lost young man, directionless and simply going through the motions. But yes, looking back at myself then and looking at myself now, I have grown exponentially. I thank you for your words. And you're right. Being a father doesn't define who I am, and should I receive that blessing then I will welcome it with open arms, in the meantime, I'm content just being a regular nerd Ha ha ha, Yeah, 20's are overrated. I try to be as good of a human as I can be. Maybe it is in that, where I will leave my mark on this world. (I know, huh? I can actually be bored on my lunch! Do you have any idea how long I've had to work jobs where I'm given 30 mins to catch my breath?) The feeling is mutual You know, I never gave much thought to aging, although I did love collecting quotes and wisdom from as many people as I can. I never thought about the actual aging part. I can honestly say I really don't feel like I'm mid-30's. So I think that added to the suddenness of this realization, like "Holy crap, I'm actually older than I think I am!" Ha ha ha! Thank you! I really hope I'm the good kind of beast! * * * SCOUT MONDAY 2:30 mins Walking at 3.6-7 mph 2 mins Jogging at 5.5 mph 1 min+ Running at 9.5 mph Total time: 34:40 mins So at the end of my run, I realized that I was able to shave off 5 seconds from my time! I think eventually I might start on just sprints and get a smaller 1-mile run time. But we'll see.

I spoiler'ed it because it was a bit of a mind dump that started yesterday: * * * Also I forgot to update MONK DRUID FRIDAY! 3 rounds of Muay Thai with breaks in between followed by Yoga Warm-up 1st Round: Shadowboxing 2nd Round: Move and Strike 3rd Round: Head movement drills 3 mins break Yoga! I've noticed my punches and head movements are slow, I need to focus on some speed work in the future.

  13. That's my philosophy as well, but I guess this one was a miss. Normally, the Misses hit me sooner than 2am, and I'm puking WAY earlier than that. I'm feeling much better now Yeah...   14. Yeah, especially since there are a LOT of them. Not to mention that it's frugal to cook for my self I'm feeling better, haven't puked or anything so I'm guessing my body is going to attempt to actually absorb whatever it was that I've subjected it to. Here's hoping for Superpowers!

  17. So Sunday I went to a flea market with some friends and ate some food at a Mexican hole-in-the-wall restaurant. All was well until I felt something turn in my stomach at 2AM last night and puked a little. This made me feel like crap the entire day yesterday to the point that when I got home I just... crashed. I woke up at 9pm and just ate some soup and then went to sleep again. All my energy amounted to "Minimal" the whole day today, but as soon as I got home I pushed myself and... SCOUT MONDAY TUESDAY 2:30 mins Walk 2 mins Jogging 1 min + Running Total time: 34:45 mins I am still tired but I'm glad I was able to exercise today, this challenge isn't off to the best of starts but I was never one to give up to easily.

I barely made it to the end of all 3 rounds, but I'm just glad that I was able to have enough energy to do SOMETHING!
