  1. Hi teammate! It looks like we have two very similar goals! If you're interested I have a pvp set up for both walking more and reducing/eliminating soda consumption. http://www.nerdfitness.com/community/showthread.php?20007-The-Walking-Soda-PVP
  2. Hi team mate! With your accountibilibudies we'll be sure to help keep you active ;-) Rock solid goals. I wish i could help with the friend department but i struggle with that myself.
  3. Hah! you went witht he name i suggested, and even used the image. That's awesome! Hi everyone! I was tired last night when i got home, but i dragged myself to the gym anyway. I'm glad I did cause i lifted 245lbs in my deadlift last night. I was so toasted but so proud after doing that. I got my shower in, but I ended up falling asleep before getting my teeth brushed. :-(
  4. Thank you everyone, it's nice having everyone's support!
  5. I've tried it before, did not care for the experience.
  6. I think it's pretty awesome that we both have 2 very similar goals this challenge. Although our goals have different end games I still think it'll be awesome to push eachother and see where we end up. I know I'm capable of walking more than 15 minutes at a time so my numbers might adjust up to match where I am.
  7. totally agree. Without having something in mind you'll usually end up missing this. Perhaps set up a schedule that helps you with #'s 2 and 3? Some thing: Monday: Squats, 1 set to max Tuesday: Walk dog for 1/2 hour Wednesday: Pushups, 1 set to max Thursday: Walk dog for 1/2 hour Friday: 1 set each to max, work on proposal Saturday: something different but light, work on proposal Sunday: something different but light, work on proposal then the next week would be something like: Monday: Squats, 2 sets to max, 2 minute rest Tuesday: Walk dog for 1/2 hour Wednesday: Pushups, 2 sets to max, 2 minute rest Thursday: Walk dog for 1/2 hour Friday: 2 sets each to max Saturday: somethign different but light, work on proposal Sunday: something different but light, work on proposal I would probably cap our the number of sets to somewhere between 3-5, depending on how you feel. The idea is that you should be progressing towards your number 2 and 3 goal while also doing 1 and 4. You also want to have rest days to recover from what you did, so Saturday and Sunday (or whatever 2 consecutive days you choose) are the days where you take it easy.
  8. i've got a pvp open if you're interested. http://www.nerdfitness.com/community/showthread.php?20007-The-Walking-Soda-PVP

  14. S'alright, I'll just find a group with black jack, and hookers. Except drop the black jack. Ahh screw the whole thing. :-D
  15. One exciting thing is that I shoudl hit the 600 lbs mark for the big three in a couple of weeks. :-D
  16. :-D the only thing i've stalled on so far is OHP and rows, but i was doing rows wrong so i deloaded them and am working back up with the correct form. also worked on my ohp form after reading starting strength and it's helped A LOT. i almost stalled to the point of deloading, but got my hands on starting strength and read the ohp section, now i've gone 3 ohp sessions without stalling. :-D i still have to take 3 minute rests though so i'm sure i'll stall again soon.
  17. Welcome to the warriors! Looks like we've converted a monk and a scout to warriors, at least for the time being.
