  1. thanks for clearing this up for me guys , come to think of it when i first started bench press my arms hurt the day after but now i can bench press with no ill effect
  2. how do you tell the difference between soreness and pain ? ive always just used the two interchangeablly (hope thats the right word) but i honestly don't know which it is i just said soreness because ive heard the phrase delayed onset muscle soreness or DOMS before lol
  3. might aswell update this thing as often as i can here is my workout stats for the day 4 sets of everything push ups : 5,5,6,4 squats: 25,25,25,25 side plank (secs) :60,40,46,40 table pull up :4,5,5,4
  4. i am currently on vacation and have been doing bodyweight excercises . last week i did 4 sets of 25 bodyweight squats and the day after my thigh musscles were so sore i was practically bed ridden . today i resumed my workout schedule after falling off the wagon and my thighs hurt for the first 2 squats of every set . i did another 4 sets of 25 btw. is anyone else experiencing this or has experienced it in the past ? i never had thigh problems in the past so do you think i injured something that one day ? i would really appreciate the help thanks guys

  6. if your not big on breakfast you don't necesarrily have to eat it . intermittent fasting can be a great way to burn extra fat i think theres a post on the blog about it from a while back

  8. hey kevin although i don't not wanna pick up girls my main focus here is to just learn to relax around them. the way i plan to work towards this goal is to just suck it up and force myself to talk to them. its not that im socially clueless i dont need to learn how to talk girls, i think id be able to manage a conversation with a gilr as in id know what to say my problem is just the actualy shyness i have around the ladies
  9. hey guys my name is laurence and this is my first 6 week challenge. I have been following the blog for about 3 months now and am finally ready to make a change. i am looking to lose weight . i am currently away from my home (and scales) so i don't know how much i weigh. the last time i weighed myself i was 144.4 lbs and that was almost a month ago. I know that that doesnt seem like a weight that requires losing ( im awful at phrasing things) but i am actually overweight judging by the mirror. i had just started lifting before going on vacation and could only manage the bar in most excercises although i could get 5 reps with an extra 10kg on squats and bench press . i don't know what the bar weighs i think it is 20kg.I will be away for the rest of the week and will be doing rebel strength bw brigade rank 1 for rest of week . STR :1 DEX: 2 CON:2 WIS:1 CHA:1 CHALLENGES: 1. lose 5-15 pounds description: im going to see how this one plays out as i will be strength training aswell and i dont know how i'l look 15 pounds lighter or if thats even possible with my current weight as i dont think i have too much to lose but again i just dont know so im looking for more of a body recomp but i hope to lose at least 5 pounds of fat. 2.stick to my paleo diet for all six weeks description: not much to describe just want to stick to the diet as i like how it makes my body feel and the results. i will also be consuming a little bit of milk in my tea , but i drink 2-3 cups a day so that probably adds up to about half a cup a day 3.improve all my lifts by at least 10 kg description:i know it will be difficult to build strength as i will be running a calorie deficit but i hope to improve my lifts by at least 10 kg or just get some plates on the bar 4. become more social around girls description: iturn very shy and awkward in front of girls.classic stereotypical nerd behaviour. there are some girls in my social group and i don't think i've ever had a proper conversation with any of them. i'm not looking to seduce these girls and make them my gfs (although i certainly wouldn't mind that !) i'm just looking to overcome my shyness and actually make some real girl friends. i know that working out and lsing weight will help me become more confident and social around girls

  11. thanks for the advice also finding it very hard to get sufficient carbs on training days any good paleo carb sources
  12. hey guys ive just started leangains last monday trying to keep all natural paleo but need some help i find i cannot get enough protein from meat egss fish etc. without getting at least 40 grams of fat . Also i am new to barbell training and am very week only able to do the bar for most excercises will that matter ?
