  1. ...who wanted to rank among the best. These are my some of favorite characters. I have read their story, played their game, watched their show. They are who I strive to be and turn to for motivation.   2. Yay!! I made it on the leader board! Woot! ME TOO. Which is why my current challenge is RWBY themed. ;o)
  3. I got dropped from the top ten! This can't stand. Excuse me... *does the mini-challenge* Ah-ha! I graduated into the 1000 club with my last hold! Woot! That was the longest one I've ever done. Oh how competition spurs me on.
  4. Thanks for asking! I really appreciate that. I was doing the circuit almost starting from the ground up. Doing one circuit with proper push-ups and calling it a day. Then building to two circuits and so on. It was about two days ago that I realized this wasn't the brightest idea since I did the circuit three times and now I was demoting my workout routine. So that day I did two proper and completed the last circuit with "girl pushups" and told myself I was going to go through it three times no matter how tired I was so I could build endurance. Today, I did it three times with "proper" push ups. I use quotes because my butt likes to sink down and I'm working hard to keep that sucker up and my back straight. I had to take some breaks (2-3 breaths) between or during segments. But all in all I see progress! YAY! ESPECIALLY in my stretching! My face is getting awfully close to my legs in the different stretches and the splits (on my right side at least) are actually feeling good since I'm finally relaxing into the pose instead of trying to push down into the ground. Reading is easy peasy now that it's in my morning wake-up routine. Plus, I LOVE READING. So great to get back into it. And the game playing is overwhelming! My husband just got Overwatch and wow. Is that fun. But I'm also trying to get my rank up in Rocket League and 100% Uncharted 4. So next time I make a 4 week challenge I'm going to be more specific in my game goals. XD
  5. Thank you! I'll work on it. This last time I really focused on contracting my back and engaging my abs. Didn't hurt nearly as much. Yeah, I'm not endowed.... at all. Haha! That's why I was wondering what the heck was wrong with me and why I couldn't get it higher. Cause it seems like I should. But turns out, I just have a weak back and was using the wrong muscles!

  7. So whenever I do the Superman pose, I struggle between lifting my chest higher and my lower back hurting. Because my lower back hurts, I lower my chest, but then it's almost on the ground... and that doesn't seem right. I could hold my legs and arms in the air all day if my chest is resting on the ground. So my question is, am I doing something wrong?
  8. Today is when I'm supposed to do the circuit, however due to a class I don't get home until very late (11:30pm ish). Therefore the next day I'm like... Therefore, I did a body losing/flexible 20 minute session of yoga instead. Woot! Tomorrow, I will continue the circuit with full potential to get 2 rounds with great technique. :o) Thanks for the support!
  9. Thanks!! XD And now I am back to square one trying to complete the circuit with better technique. *sigh* I was able to complete one circuit and my arms are screaming!! Lol. Oh weakling arms. Plus, it was like 100° that day (yesterday). Continuing to stretch and do yoga. REALLY feeling the stretches as of late. I'm getting a sense that I'm not only doing the stretches/positions correctly but it feels good. I look forward to my yoga sessions. :o) Until next achievement!
  10. Oh okay. Didn't realize that was mandatory. Having the arms by my sides is easier to engage my abs and get my legs closer to the ground. But I shall continue hence forth with my arms up by my ears.
  11. Okay, cool. That's what I was doing. Keeping my back flush and trying to slowly bring my legs down as far as I could, trying to engage my abs to keep my lower back down. Thanks for the answers!

  13. Did someone say GYMNASTICS?!?! I love gymnastics with a fiery passion. I can't wait for this challenge. NOW question: As I was doing the Hollow Holds, I looked up a video on how to properly do them found here. Described in the video is the importance to have the lower back flat on the ground. In order to do said position, my legs need to be much higher than shown in the picture and video. Is this okay? Or should I try to get them as low to the ground as possible even though my lower back lifts? Thanks!
  14. I DID IT!!!!!!! I did the full Bodyweight Workout Circuit 3x through. WOOT! I feel the So excited that I finally did it! But now I must work on technique and upgrading. For Example: push-ups with knees on the floor => reg. push ups. Squats with my butt sticking out like a Nicki Minaj video => tucked under, keeping my back straight. But I'm just stoked I made it through the 3 times. :o)
  15. Yesterday was good. I did everything, but wasn't able to record. (Pretty busy) But today, oh man! Shin Splints. So I'm taking it easy on the legs and focusing on arms. This will be a set back in trying to to the circuit. If I'm able, I will try the whole body circuit tomorrow. But just walking there is a dull pain. Oh well. A (relatively) easy day doing push ups, inverted rows, and lifting milk jugs.

  19. June 15th 2016: Short and sweet: I did everything! Ruby changed my signature but was disappointed when images weren't allowed. *sigh* Weiss was proud of my stretching, even if I seem to be going nowhere. Blake read with me for just under an half hour, but we plan to read a little more after this message. Yang cheered me on as I was so close to completing the body circuit three times. The squats. THE SQUATS! I digress, it was progress. :o)

  21. So, is there a link to a pull-up progression list or something? I tried looking on the nerd fitness site. But that's just, "Do a pull up" which I cannot do. BIGGEST WEAKNESS = twig arms. They have never been strong and I've always wanted to be able to do at least one chin-up/pull-up! It's literally the reason why I dropped out of gymnastics cause my upper body strength was terrible... I digress. Is there a link or something? Any help would be appreciated! I look forward to this challenge!
