  1. I'm not worried about hurting myself at all and I'm not actually disappointed in myself. I really wanted to try and stick to a routine to form some habits ?
  2. As someone who can't even put into words how much hated I have for carrying a water bottle while hiking or even just walking around the block. Camelbak 100% Iv'e seen people using the vest style fro trail running/ city running, https://www.camelbak.com/en/packs/run/R01041--Circuit_Vest?color=3db3ab97f362493cb8b4e619a1848116 seems a bit pricey but there's always a knock off.
  3. It kind of caught me off guard, the simplicity of just drinking water has been quite the challenge. Drink up Thanks! I am a little disappointed in myself for not following the plan. Not going to cry over extra squats!!
  4. Week 1 check in. So far off to an ok start here's the quick notes. Did 4 bodyweight workouts.✓(should of only done 3) Yoga/walk(3x) I'm going to mark as a fail (but succeed ) I did manage 1yoga, 1 walk.( Maybe insert that extra bodyweight workout here?) And the most ridiculous ROMWOD ever! From last night called Hercules 2.0. Water intake. 100oz everyday✓ Limit coffee/ caffeine intake✓ max 3 per day Looking optimistic✓ Noobgains, and lost 9 pounds from my last weight check from two weeks ago. I'm looking forward to this weeks plan for a full 100% !
  5. Welcome! As someone who's constantly dehydrated and was late to this party as well. We've got some similar goals and interests so I hope you stick with it.
  6. Working up to a muscle up/L-sit, NF has a whole program for it. Right now I'm doing 4 sets of x 5 45* rows x10 scapular retractions x3 leg tucks ? (working towards an L sit ) x15sec straight arm support As for stress eating its mainly while I'm at work so I have been buying packets of single serve almonds or peanuts and trying to hit my goal of 100oz of water kinda helps as well. I suppose its better then all the other stuff that ends up in an office break room. I was just stuffing my face while overwhelmed hoping no one would ask me to do something while eating.
  7. Showing up late which is par for the course for me. This mini seemed to line up perfectly with my goals. I should be able to catch up by Sunday!! Go get it!
  8. Greetings everybody! I just posted my very first challenge here - it's late but better late than never, right? I'm really excited about it. I hope everyone's ready for a great Friday! Oh and since I'm new, will somebody point me the direction of the best beer in this here guilde hall?
  9. So here goes everything - I know I'm late this challenge, but after lurking on the forums for what seems like forever, living vicariously through another nerd, actually meeting a bunch of nerds, and even went to a nerd wedding(!!!!) I've decided to dive in and give it a shot and there's no time like the present. So Hello! What I'm currently hoping to get out of NF is extra motivation and to keep on a regimen with working out (ie picking up heavy things and placing them back from whence they came), going for walks and eating healthier. I eat fairly healthy as is because we normally meal prep, my problem is more when I get stressed I will in turn stress eat anything that comes my way. Also Hydrate Hydrate Hydrate. So here's my initial goals: 3x/week bodyweight workout w/ NF Ring and handstands. 3x/week yoga or go for a walk (my choice/weather dependent) Drink 100oz of water a day. Lower my caffeine intake to max 3 per day (8 cups of coffee a day seems a tad excessive to me.) Be more optimistic: Write something one thing I am grateful for and one thing I am looking forward to with each weekly update here. I already have been focusing on my water intake this week, and have gotten in a workout so I think I am off to a good start.
