  1. When I do, it's Paddyrock radio. Celtic rock & punk. yeah...it's good!!!
  2. I'm sorry....but engines should ONLY be measured in cubic inches NOT liters. Liters are for Cokes...not engines!!! 318ci sounds way cooler than 5.2liters. 5.2 liters is like a little over 2 1/2 big bottles of Cokes. What would you rather brag about... "CUBIC INCHES" or "liters"??? 426ci or 6.9 liters??? I mean..."Yeah, I have almost 4 bottles of Coke under my hood!" that strikes fear into the heart of nobody!!!
  3. are you still doing 5x5 or have you dropped to 3x5??? I went to 3x5 over a year ago and still get gains and I only get about 2 days a week to work out. I did change my deadlift routine and have applied it to my overhead since I had big gains w/ it. Bench & Squat I'm sticking w/ 3x5.
  4. My current mp3 has: 4 KISS albums (KISS, Hotter Than Hell, Dressed to Kill, Destroyer). The Best of Pantera cd. Some of those $5 "best of" cds of Rob Zombie, Queensryche. Black Sabbath(Paranoid). Near Life Experience (Steve Blaze from Lillian Axe). Drowning Pool's first album (w/ "Bodies") 2 Megadeth (The World Needs a Hero & Countdown to Extinction) Detroit Rock City soundtrack Dracula 2000 soundtrack
  5. I swapped from 5x5 to 3x5 to this program on my deadlifts ( http://www.t-nation.com/training/simple-deadlift-program). I wanted to make some bigger gains in my deads so I followed the program exactly like it said. I started w/ a 345lb dead, after the program I did 380lbs. I'm going to try this program w/ my overheads and see how that works. I might use it w/ bench or squat too.
  6. I just hit a new PR using that program in QoB's original post. I maxed to begin the program at 345lbs, but rounded up to 350lbs for my workout percentages. This past Saturday I maxed and hit 380lbs. So a 35lb gain, I was pleasantly surprised. I was thinking I would only get maybe a 20lbs. So when you go back to the program, hopefully you'll have some big increases!!! *this program http://www.t-nation.com/training/simple-deadlift-program *
  7. We had a female tuxedo we got from the pound. My wife wouldn't let me name her Pussy Galore, like I wanted too. So we named her Serena (Samantha's cousin on Bewitched).
  8. I used to wear Skechers Alleycats when I was teaching. Really comfy and easy on the wallet.
  9. Taurus makes really good revolvers. I haven't heard real good stuff about their autos. I heard several gun stores had to send several of the Taurus autos back for repair. Their revolvers have always gotten good reviews. My wife carries a Taurus .38 w/ here all the time. It shoots really good, I've toyed w/ the idea of getting me one for a backup off duty.
  10. This is Koloth. Named after my favorite Klingon. *thanks for the help hurley8604
  11. Ok...there would be a picture of my dog, but for some reason I can't get it to work properly. How did y'all do yours???
  12. I got a longer torso, so I could be in the Geoff Tate (original Queensryche singer) range.
  13. There are also wrestling shoes. Here is just some from footlocker. Decent prices and styles, but you can probably find some in your area at a sports store. http://www.footlocker.com/Wrestling-Shoes/_-_/N-h8/keyword-Shoes?Ns=P_StyleSalePrice|0&Rpp=120&cm_SORT=Price+%28Low+to+High%29
  14. You might not want to do all those excercises on the same day either. I use a 2 day simple routine, which if I had a "normal" MWF I could rotate them in. Day 1 is bench, deadlift, pull ups or chin ups. Day 2 is squats, overhead press, rows. With a MWF schedule you could go 1,2,1 one week 2,1,2 the next week, and so on.
  15. If you're consistantly not hitting the 5x5 you might have maxed out that and are ready to up the weight and go to 3x5. I did that. I also changed my grip to a false grip, and that helped. You can also do accessary excercises to help. I use resistance bands alot (at home) and you can also do Arnold dumbbell presses. Bands tend to get my triceps a good workout (I'll do several sets of 15 over the course of an off day), where the Arnolds (yeah, you just read that in Arnolds voice) work your shoulders really good.
  16. I can only see bad things happening w/ that. I can't hit the Bruce Dickinson notes like I could in the 80s and I think if I tried those, I probably could for a while.
  17. Ok...I HATE Christmas, w/ a red & green passion. However this is a really cool idea!!! Well played pyrite...well played!!!
  18. Is it just me or did anybody else recognize the Klingon mask on the kicking dummy in the background??? Anyone??? Anyone??? I stalled out at 130lbs on my overhead so I've gone down some weight and changed my grip to the "false grip". So far things seem to be working out ok. What's a "false grip"??? http://www.t-nation.com/training/nailing-the-overhead-press
  19. It bugs the hell outta my wife when I say "Hey that person was on Star Trek" or "BSG" or "Sons of Anarchy", then hit iMDB to prove I'm right!!! I also hit the b-day list and post mostly all main & secondary charcters in all Star Trek (except JJTrek) series. Then on my b-day I always share the cool ones who share it w/ me.
  20. Tell them to come to Louisiana...we love guns!!! Guns are like tater chips...you just can't have only 1.
  21. You could always move. The South welcomes all newcomers, even yankees (provided they learn to drive first). I guess I'm lucky...I live on 80 acres of land so I have plenty of shooting places. Plus my deer stand is only 220 yards from my frond door.
  22. Disruptors are fun!!! bat'letHs are funner!!!
  23. Welcome to the great state of Louisiana. I don't live in BR, (I live in North Central LA) but I've been to BR several times. Not a bad city. It does have a really cool water park (Blue Bayou). It's also not that far from NOLA so a trip to there is pretty easy. Btw...I hope you like purple & yellow, it's the colors of choice down there, also the colors of lsu.
