  2. Thanks so much for all the suggestions! The leafy texture tends to be very strange for me as well so that's something I'll have to work on. I've also heard putting some spinach leaves into a smoothie may be helpful. I'll try anything! I'll update in about a month to let you know how I've done. Again, thank you!
  3. Hi all, I'm new to the forums and new to trying to eat healthfully. I was born & raised on a meat & potatoes diet. I've been working on adding fruits and veggies to my diet but veggies are extremely bitter to me. I'm determined though. I have 26 years of unhealthy eating habits to undo, so I'm not expecting overnight success. I'm looking to incrementally change my eating habits for the better. The problem is that I see myself to such an extreme that when someone says, "Oh, just eat a salad for one of your meals! That's a great start!" My response is, "A whole salad? I was bare

  5. I thought I was the only one who gagged with veggies! I feel so silly, a full grown adult and gagging when I put a piece of lettuce in my mouth. Thank you for the curries recipe, I'll definitely try it!

Where I am: 45 lbs overweight Recovering from broken ankle 3rd Geup in WTF Taekwondo On the "Midwest" diet (meat & potatoes) for the entirety of my life. I'm working on fruits. Vegetables have been intolerably bitter (read: I gag when I eat them). Where I want to be in an ideal world: In the middle of my BMI range/lookin' good Injury-free 1st Dan Black in WTF Taekwondo (and continuing to train) Paleo diet (I did say my ideal world )
