  1. We do have a gym, yeah, but if I'm completely honest I'm a bit feared to step foot in it. My Uni has a lot of sport science students and a small gym so putting myself in amongst guys who all measure on a scale somewhere between Thor and the Hulk is a bit intimidating. I think I'll start with that last link you sent me and a tape measure. A wee bit more confidence required before I start entering gyms I think. Also, cheers for the diet tracking sites, I'll give them a look
  2. Fair do's, sounds worth a look. You know the titles of those short stories cause I'm curious about the cantina and palace now?
  3. Just replied to you on the other thread, hadn't noticed you were new here too, good to see a fellow newbie starting with the same rough character sheet. Hopefully we can both go from the skeleton warrior look to something a little more 3D with a bit of time here. Good to have you aboard Also nicely done with the blu-ray Star Wars, but alas I've never read any of the books. Any good?
  4. I hadn't thought about farmer's markets, city living for you, yeah we have plenty over here if you know where to look but I'm sure with a little asking about I can find one, good call

    Zombies

The app looks awesome, well getting it.. well, when/if it goes down in price but referring to an earlier point, about the zombie 5k run? I know there's a lot of those in America, zombie walks etc, but are there any in Britain? I keep stumbling American ones but none in the UK, anybody know? That's running you can get involved with all guns blazing.
  6. Hey all, -20 years old -Male -6'1" -Skint student -Can't weigh myself, no scales but I've got a skeleton like physique that I can't get anything onto.. granted I haven't tried hard enough till now, determined to make a change. I just found the site yesterday and it looks like a great community, it seems like the kind of nerdy people I could get on board with. I need all the help I can get as I'm gonna try this with no prior knowledge and on a students budget. So this looks like the place to be. I've been reading up and I did one of the beginners excercise routines I found on the site (just to try), didn't realise I was so unfit, was out of breath and sweating by the end of the first set. Anyway, anybody got any tips on what to eat after an excercise? I keep reading that diet is more than half the battle? Also, any other starter tips would be amazing, cheers.
