  1. Good luck! It worked ver well for me and it's very sustainable. I live with someone who seems to not be able to leave the karbs and without support it's harder so i hope if you share meal time the people you share with support you on this challenge!
  2. Hello, I am Nemo and I joined Nerd fitness in 2016 or something but fell out pretty quickly after that due to my changes in life. Now I am in a stable position, I moved countries 4 years ago but I am used to it now, used to the house, the food, the culture the partner. And I am not longer a freelancer who worked stupid hours I got a stable job where people are cool with me saying “I can’t work tonight, or this weekend” so I think I am in a better position to now focus on ME. I saw my old post of November 2016. Starting point then was 67,7… I am 10 extra kilo’s now. Which is not a great new starting point but that’s life. I want to do this challenge for myself and see how I do. My goal: Feel better! I know it’s hard to measure but I feel tired/demotivated ALL THE TIME. It’s hard for me to fall asleep and even if I had a good night sleep I feel sluggish during the next day. I never had the ambition to look like a model. I want to FEEL good for me. Looks are very 2nd (3rd, 4th) rank of importance to me. Who am I to impress anyway. I’m good with what I got. How to do it is the trick... For now I got some short term goals in the challenges, and i'll (hopefully) stay doing the challenges on short term goals which would lead to a long term things. Long term goals: 1. I would like to have a BMI of 25 (or less) 1+. I know 70 kilos will get be on 25 but 65kilo's sounds great. I looked best at 62 in the best. 2. Be able to walk(not run!) 5 km without stopping I've a bad knee, i now have exercises and support so I do much better but i need to be consistent in practises to get this working 3. Have low key exercise as part of my basic routine. I am not saying I want to go to the gym everday I don't think that's sustainable. I'm looking at taking the dog for walks, do my knee exercises properly etc. maybe we're looking at 30min a day. that would already be great if that just "fits" without making en effort. 4. Do more of my epics I made an epic list back in 2016 (when my health was better I have to admit) but it's fun to look at it and see i did some of these things without look at the list in years. 4+. I think starting small is a good plan so for now nothing TOO crazy as I don’t want to fail straight away The plan for this challenge: 1. I drink, a lot…. So no drinking! Not even on boardgame night! How ever realistically I’ll fail and I don’t want to FAIL so… 2 wines a week is all I get, so got to pick my evenings well and no “saving for later” 2. No bad snacks, Fruits / nuts etc. are fine in proper portions 3. Walk 15min everyday outside (or on the elliptical machine, the machine is also outside) 4. No more coffee after 18:00 5. Sleep before 00:00 Also on the weekends 6. Measure every week, knowledge is power. Starting point inside spoiler -> Not sure why the icon is a dude, I'm a woman but I'll try and fix that for next week.

  6. Sorry for my very late reply, I was ill over two months, I'm back now, the GR10 is still a goal got to get myself back into working my way there!
  7. I want to appoligize to you all for my absence, I've been ill, had to go to hospital for a bit. I only started working again last week. I'll try to get back into Nerd fitness soon!

Némo wakes up 'what the.... seems the neighbors are having fun.... no wait ... that was differnt" She runs out, wappons drawn (2 daggers) Finally outside she realises that her assumption of the couple next door made her late and most other doddle's are already on sight... She's about to laught at the group for their funny footwear but just before the acctually does she realises she's also still wearing her funny slipper. In that case, she walks over the DR "Aswome unicorns you got there!" and as usual she's sits back and analyses the situation without much more comment.
  9. Week 4. I notice that the bordom and the cold outside is getting to me, I'm still good on the snacks and coffee but bordom is getting me by now. Week 4 Done. weight = 67,6 Lost this week +0,5 KG Lost total - 0,1 KG Goals progress; with Climbing I'm on 5B level. No soda, fruit jus is going well. Beer, is back on track! Fitness & Weigt Epics this week; No office snacks = going strong Max 3 coffee a day = going strong Climb 5B (single 3x with breaks) Done Went Bouldering (rock climbing without ropes) again. posted Challenge 2 here

Out of a fight, i'm flirtatious with elfs, humans, halflings en acctuallly.. any race, male or female, what can I say, I like a challange. In a fight I'm a back stabbing bitch with two daggers. I've been to many lands before encountering these doodlies only a few weeks back (hench my Cultural knowledge), I've seen many things, and people... 2. In that post or another, describe what your Doodlie does the night before Holidazzle, a holiday in which strange men and women in red magically make gifts appear for all the good boys and girls. Also describe what your Doodlie has asked Santa SW/MRS for this Holidazzle - better starting gear and secret bonus in the game In the night before the Holidazzle I'll Join Terah with singing songs about the Strange Woman and her helpers. I'll put my wish list next to the goodies. It says: "Dear, I wish for new daggers, poisonous if possible, If I can help you with something in return, you know which room I'm in, See you there, Nemo" 3. Take care of yourselves. Spend some time doing something for yourself like reading, playing video games, get a massage, bake, or whatever you would like to for you.   12. That I got Final Fantasy 3 days early (before release date) and it works! but my grandma turned 75 so I couldn't play.... Live loves me..
  13. I think I find it easier to do a full 4 weeks as I can have an idea on the story.. it's easier then jump in with no clue. I'll do next month (or the one after if you go in between )

  19. Challange is over! I'm going for nr #2 I think I did well for #1 and soo I'll give myself a level up. what I notices was that it's hard to remind myself of my goals (specially with eating) I'll keep them in my challange for next month and hope it will work out again thx for all the support so far!
  20. In my current challange I want to walk 10KM a week. as its codl here I'll do it inside, we thinking of adjusting the incline each week. start at 0% go to 1-3% 3-5% etc. Thanks for the reminder/tip!
  21. Challange #2. GR 10 training begins So, I'm going to walk the GR10 (well that's the plan). This challange which will be the entire month of Dec (I don't like the fact there is a week rest between challanges) will focus on; Diet - Don't take office snacks (celibrations) in Dec. (I love office snacks) [CON+1 WIS+1] - Only have 2 coffee's before 1 one after lunch rest of the day drink water/tea [CON+1 WIS+1] - No beer, Soda, Jus in the house [CON+2 WIS+1] Fitness - wall/rock climb at least 1,5 hour a week each week [STR+2 STA +1] - 10km walk per week. (prefferably) [STA+3 DEX+1] Life - Get my diving tattoo (17 & 18th of Dec) [CHA +1] My Epic quests for this period; - Be able to rock climb a 5c (10XP) [STR+1] (start difficulty= 5B) - be able to rock climb 3 5b's in a row (20xp) [STR+1][STA+1] (start difficulty= 5A) - Don't take any office snacks in Dec (25 xp) (same as above [CON+2]) (I managed to do this in Nov, I want to continue in Dec) - Don't drink soda, jus & beer for 1 month (25 xp) (same as above [CON+2]) (I managed to do this in Nov, I want to continue in Dec) - Get my diving tattoo (17 & 18th of Dec) (75 xp) (same as above [CHA +1]) Info on the GR10; The GR 10 is a French GR footpath, or hiking trail, that runs the length of the Pyrenees Mountains. It roughly parallels the French-Spanish border on the French side. Those attempting the entire trail often choose to walk it from west to east, from Hendaye on the Bay of Biscay to Banyuls-sur-Mer on the Mediterranean Sea, but it can just as easily be traversed east to west. Hiking the entire route is estimated to take around 52 days for hikers who are in good shape and used to mountain hiking. Some stretches involve a lot of ascending and descending, including a few one-day sections that can climb and then descend 1,200 metres (3,900 ft), but the GR 10 is a hiking trail, and there is no actual mountain climbing involved. The trail covers a distance of 866 kilometres (538 mi), with 48,000 metres (157,000 ft) of ascent and given the coast to coast nature of the route the same descent.
