  1. It's been few since I checked in. Haven't worked out again, but ate my salad stuff Thursday and got school lunch Friday. (so, a total of 2/3 for the week). I'm hoping to workout again today, so I'll wait to update that score but right now 1/3. 2/3 for the week for making dinner. Hubs is making dinner tonight. I'm not sure if I count that. I'm going with no since that's not how my challenge is worded. Haven't taken out of savings so 1/1 on that. Sent from my HTC Desire 626 using Tapatalk
  2. Better... Not perfect. I got my workout in Monday. Forgot lunch, but got salad stuff at lunch, so I count that. I didn't workout or make dinner. I'm feeling okay about yesterday though. Sent from my HTC Desire 626 using Tapatalk
  3. Okay, so far im not doing great but it's early in the week. We ate leftovers last night, which is better than eating out. I didn't bring my lunch today (forgot!) and then had a dept meeting, so I got school lunch. Planning to workout tonight but I'm not going to count that until I actually do it. Haven't taken out of savings. So, there I am so far. Sent from my HTC Desire 626 using Tapatalk
  4. It's called Mealtime. There's a paid version but I'm too cheap. They have recipes that you can put dietary requirements and you can populate what you want. I, too, am terrible at making grocery lists. I've used it before and it's pretty useful. Sent from my HTC Desire 626 using Tapatalk
  5. Thank you! That seriously means a lot to me! Sent from my HTC Desire 626 using Tapatalk
  6. Oh, it's awesome. If I wasn't afraid of getting hit by a car crossing the street I'd just walk there, but it's a busy road. I've got to get this right. I'm so heavy and out of shape right now. It's occupying so much space in my head that I need to clear out for more important things. Sent from my HTC Desire 626 using Tapatalk
  7. I have this app that lists my grocery items, so I'm using that. And I'm gonna plan lunch on Saturday night. I'm wild, know. Hah. Grocery shop on Sunday. Every other week, I plan to do this on Friday night/Saturday cause that's our usual shopping day but I didn't get on it this week. I'll always make lunches on Sunday for the week. I'm terrible about forgetting my lunch in the morning. Backup plan if that happens: go to Walmart at lunch (it's right next door) get salad fixins, put them in my work fridge) Sent from my HTC Desire 626 using Tapatalk
  8. So, I've come up with my goals and they are as follows: 1)Take lunch three days a week. 2) Cook dinner three days a week. 3) Workout three days a week. 4) Do not take out of savings during the challenge. I'm terrified of my first challenge. I hope I've started small but not too small. Geronimo!
  9. I will definitely take a look at the suggested quests and will join! I like the idea of the points! I would absolutely feel like I've failed if I didn't do -whatever- for three days in a row but in the end, 4 out of 7 is better than half. Thank you so much for your help!!!
  10. I grew up in close to Marmet, so the other end. We are in KY, so still close. WV will always be home, though!
  11. I grew up near Charleston and lived in Huntington as an adult.
  12. I lived in West Virginia until about a month ago! It's nice to see a fellow Mountaineer!
  13. Hi, I'm new here. I've always been bad at introducing myself. I'm a female math teacher. I've got two superheroes-in-training (right now, they claim they are Captain America and Batman) and a husband (he's my superhero.... I just threw up. Sorry for that). Anyway, I've always considered myself chunky; although, looking back I wasn't really until college. I lost quite a bit of weight post college (80 lbs). I gained every bit back when Captain America came along. He's 5 now. My life has been a little crazy in the last five years. Not an excuse, I know I could have lost weight before now. Anyway, I found the Nerd Fitness blog and loved it. So, here I am. I'm not really sure which guild I fit in yet, but I'll figure it out. Anyway, I just wanted to say. And like in real life, I feel like this introduction has been super awkward. haha.
