  1. Cambridge Ontario here Sent from my SM-G900W8 using Tapatalk
  2. Good work so far. Cleaning all the junk out of the fridge/pantry is always a great idea. It nice to start fresh with good clean foods. Sent from my SM-G900W8 using Tapatalk
  3. Yeah plans never seem to work out with my girls around. I don't think I've been on time for anything in the last 4 years lol. It would be hard to pick a favourite plant based protein. Since I stopped eating animal products my taste buds have went through some major changes and I love just about all foods(before I was very picky and ate mostly meat and potatoes with a small side of veggies). I love and beans and lentils eat them everyday. They would probably be tied for top then quinoa, nuts/seeds, tofu and Seiten a close second lol. For the challenge last night I did 20 min on the eliptical and did some yoga today. I picked a kids yoga video and my girls joined in for a few min so that was fun. I haven't been able to make another video for YouTube yet. I should be able to get it done tomorrow. I was able to get a banner made up though and some research on editing and how to use my camera to take good video. So still making forward progress. Sent from my SM-G900W8 using Tapatalk
  4. Thanks all. It's great to know I could have a couple of followers right from the beginning. I've been collecting a lot of underpants the last couple days. During that time I've found that there are lots of people looking for vegan meals and "days of eating" but not lots of people making the content which is good for me. I really like the idea of making days of eating with my vegan kids because I think they would be really popular in the future. But now I'm kinda thinking I should make 2 channels. I already started one called "raisin gains" which I think I should use as a vegan bodybuilding page with high protein muscle meals and my workouts (which I also found is very popular searches with relatively low content). Then start another that's more family oriented with my daughters in it helping me cook and such. I could just do one channel but i think that people that are into bodybuilding may not subscribe if there is lots of stuff not on their for them. As well people looking for meal ideas that kids would eat may not like all the work out stuff. I did make a video today of me making my girls their lunch (chickpea salad sammichs) but the wife went shopping right before I started it and through all the clips my two daughters were running around screaming. Then while I was editing tonight I realized I didn't even have footage of me putting it all together at the end just when it was plated and my daughters were eating. So I'm going to have to try again in the next few days :s
  5. Lol yeah my wife would say I'm a bit obsessive about it. I started out mostly cardio but switched weights about 4 months ago. I lost about 50 lbs now I'm trying to put on more muscle. But I still have that last stubborn 10 lbs or so of fat that's just hanging around. I've wanted to start a YouTube channel for a long time. Now I'm really wishing I started it before my weight loss journey. I want to make a vegan fitness/cooking channel. I started eating plant based about 6 months ago because of my daughters food sensitivities and really fell in love with it. So I would love to make a channel to help people with the transition to that style eating as well as to show being fit without eating meat or animal products is very doable. As for the challenge. Today I did 20 minutes on the eliptical machine. 1.5 minutes all out on the hardest setting then 1.5 cool down at a low setting until the timer went off. After that I followed a 15 min yoga video off of YouTube with my 2 year old crawling all over me. I'm still trying to come up with a good name for a channel so hopefully that will come to me over the next few days.
  6. I'll give this a shot. I'm really hoping those numbers are inaccurate because they are saying I'm up to 22% again Sent from my SM-G900W8 using Tapatalk
  7. Hi all I'm a newbie here and looking forward to getting started with the challenge. I am having a hard time picking a guild so I'm going to start with being a rebel. 3 of my goals for the first challenge are going to be fairly easy as I want to make sure to hit most of them. The last one will be more difficult but I'm looking forward to working on it. 1- 3 days of cardio a week. I presently work out lifting weights 5-6 days a week but still need to drop 10 pounds or so to get to my goal of 10%bf. 2- 3 days a week of yoga. I started doing yoga about a year ago and loved it but it kinda got put aside when I started lifting more often. 3- Cook 1 new meal a week. I love cooking and usually stay away from eating out at restaurants. But I find it easy to make the same things every week. I'm a creature of habit plus it takes no thinking to keep my macros in check 4- start up a YouTube channel and get a video out every week. I've been wanting to start one for a while but always put it off. I am going to update every night that I complete of one of my goals. Sent from my SM-G900W8 using Tapatalk
