Hey everybody
I'm Sven, a 22 year old earth sciences student in the Netherlands.
I signed up for the forums three weeks ago but hadn't taken the time yet to write an introduction post (I'm a terrible procrastinator, FYI).
Over the last couple of years I've been going to a gym where I've mostly focused on bits of cardio and a few LesMills classes (recently CxWorx, BodyPump and BobyBalance, but have also done Grit and BodyCombat). Weight training is something I stay away from because I have no idea what to do, how to do it and the whole place kind of scares me.
Some measurements from last Friday: 1.98m (6'6") tall, 88.4kg with 22.1% fat and 37.3% muscle (at the end of 2014 I weighed 104.6kg). Right now I'm not looking to lose weight but would like to build more muscle. I think the main challenges for that goal will be starting weight training and improving my diet (there's probably a serious shortage of protein and veggies).
I saw there are various subforums with information/plans/etc. so I'll have a look around and see what info I can or cannot find.
Glad to be here and am looking forward to making changes.
