  1. Okay, seriously, what is with my body getting the flu every time I try to start eating right and working out again? I am laid out in bed with a fever and an awful headache. @_@
  2. Thanks, guys! The only thing now is that my right elbow has recently been giving me issues, making it so I cannot fully extend it without experiencing extreme pain in the joint. I can get it about 90% extended, but I physically cannot straighten it. I figure this will make pushups difficult, so I will have to keep an eye on that.
  3. I participated in a 6-week challenge this summer and I did quite well, until I came down with possibly the worst flu of my life. Now I've put back on the weight and then some and I am sick and tired of it. It has to GO! So I'm back for round 2 of the challenge. I figure since I didn't complete my last challenge, I'm still at level 1. Name: Robbie Level: 1 Age: 20 Class: Assassin Race: Android Beginning stats: Str: 1 Dex: 2 Sta: 1 Con: 2 Wis: 4 Cha: 3 Fitness Goal: Undecided Fitness Goal: Reach 140 lbs and rebuild sexy abs. Plan: Focus on bodyweight exercises and begin an exercise routine 3 times per week, including squats, leg lifts, and push-ups (if capable despite my bummed right elbow). Diet Goal: Eat at least 1 Paleo meal per day. Plan: Weed out bread and grains, replacing them as much as possible with vegetables like spaghetti squash (of which I'm a huge fan) and alternatives like almond tortillas. Incorporate more eggs and various meats into my diet for breakfasts, mixing them with onions and sweet potatoes (and possibly other veggies if I so decide). Level Up Your Life Goal: Write 20,000 words in my second book. Plan: At a goal of 1000 words per day, I should be able to make it within 20 days, however I know from experience that even that is challenging. I will have to push myself to break writer's block and talk through it with my friends and family to figure out how to continue the story. I'll plan a basic outline of where I want the story to go in the long-term so I have an idea of where to jump to if I absolutely cannot get through the block.
  4. Dammit, I've fallen off the bandwagon. I need to get my butt back in gear, starting tomorrow. Have to get rid of the flab I've put back on in the past week. >_<
  5. God, this has not been a productive weekend. @_@ On Friday I came down with a horrible flu and had to leave work early and ended up puking my guts out all night and into the wee hours of the morning, and today I am still down in the dumps, though I haven't upchucked since early Saturday morning. I'm still alive, somehow. Unfortunately I haven't been able to work out for the past two planned sessions, so I'm way behind and feel totally out of shape. :/
  6. Yeah, exactly. xD I figured it was good exercise. And helped to train my reflexes when a tree branch that I was standing on broke and I had to jump forward and grab onto another large branch to stop from falling and breaking myself. xD And holy crap, my birthday is tomorrow. O_O I also work from 10-4 (working at UPS now ) and a couple of my friends told me they were going to come in and drop off presents. xD
  7. Thanks, Nano! I was actually supposed to go freerunning with some friends on Sunday but I completely spaced and went to airsoft with different friends instead. It was still super fun, but less productive to my goals. xD
  8. I had a rough couple of days after that, but I had a great weekend and bounced back and just started at a new job today. Unfortunately, my workout routine has been suffering because of the rough patch, but I'm trying to get back into the groove of things. I completely skipped it Friday, but I spent Friday and Saturday running through the woods and sparring people with boffer swords, then spent Sunday running through different woods and climbing trees and shooting at people with airsoft guns, and today I at least did all the warmups and part of my workout before I was too physically exhausted to do any more. >_< And I totally agree. I just now uploaded the (hopefully) final edit of the manuscript and the cover, and I have to wait a day or two for CreateSpace to do their review of it and order a proof copy to look through it and see how it turned out, and then it should be finished! I just hope I can have as many sales as -shudders- Twilight.
  9. It's a little long, but, “All mankind is divided into three classes: those that are immovable, those that are movable, and those that move.”
  10. Ugh, I drank some mountain dew last night at like 8, and for some reason the caffeine majorly affected me and I ended up lying in bed, wide awake until 4:30, at which point I took a sleeping pill and passed out about an hour later, so now I'm super cranky from lack of sleep, and I felt like everything I did while making breakfast was wrong and like I ruined it. I added too many potatoes, too few eggs, too much oil, forgot the cheese, just...urgh...
  11. Why thank you. I figured Android, because I have a character (not in this book, from another story) named Insanity, who is the corrupted digital personality of a genius robotic inventor, all housed in an android body. When Doctor Jameson (the inventor) got near his death bed, he created a machine to transfer his consciousness into a robotic frame before he died. He had named the machine Immortality, for obvious reasons. However, when he died, the transfer corrupted and ended up creating a split personality. The computer blocked off the new AI in his mind, but still caused Doctor Jameson (who now, because of the corruption, insists that his name is Doctor Doctorson, PhD), to go completely insane. It wasn't until he was in a fight to the death and was stabbed through the chest that his body had to enter a regenerative cycle, and restart his bionic brain, that Insanity (the corrupted form of Immortality) was loosed upon the world. The block between personalities was momentarily removed, which allowed Insanity to take over and become the dominant personality. The second reason is that I actually became very close to the character Insanity, and he kind of became a part of me, separate from the story character. I find that I associated him with several aspects of my personality, including anger, vengeance, lust, and most interestingly, love. Because face it, you HAVE to be at least a little insane to love someone. So yes, I'm an Android Assassin. Only because it was more interesting than Human. x3
  12. Lol, Chrome, actually. It's not a huge deal though, as long as I have the comparison photos for myself.
  13. So, I'm having an issue while trying to upload a couple of "before" pics. When it finishes uploading each picture, it comes up with a little red circle to the right, and when I hover over it, a text box says, Any idea what that means, anyone? Are the pictures too big to post or something?
  14. Hmm, I'm trying to upload a couple of "before" pictures that I just took, but it keeps giving me an error. It comes up with a little red circle, and when I hover over it, a text box says, Any idea what that means, anyone?
