  1. I suppose I should mention my goals. Week of April 29: Eat a fruit or a vegetable at each meal. Walk 10 minutes once daily with my walking buddy (pictured if I can upload it!) Write 10 minutes for three days

I find if my sugar intake is under control and I'm getting enough protein and fiber I can eat 2 dark dove squares or half a pack of dark M&Ms. And- here's the kicker- leave the rest of the packet of Doves or M&Ms open and around until the next time I am ready for a serving- like DAYS later! If I have already been eating poorly, or I start eating milk chocolate, all bets are off and I will eat the whole thing. To get there I needed to eat low sugar or sugar-free everything. My chocolate came from protein powder or homemade hot cocoa sweetened with stevia. I mixed cocoa, stevia and peanut butter into my overnight oats. I did that for a few weeks to readjust my palate before I went back to the "hard stuff." I wish you good luck. It's my drug of choice as well.
