  1. How many pull-ups can you do in 1 hour? Use whatever strategery you like. Here's some complex rocket-science level math for your noggin to get you motivated. If you do 1 pull-up per minute, that's 60 pull-ups. If you do 2 pull-ups per minute that's 120 pull-ups! Think you can do 1 every 15 seconds? That's a whopping 240 pull-ups! Beastly. Just bust 'em out, however many reps you want and however many sets you want. Anyways, hop to it. Post your results and I'll make a leaderboard spreadsheet 1 week from now. Clock's 'a tickin'. Oh and if you try the challenge again later and post your new and
  2. Hellooo! Calling all wannabe ninja warriors and ultimate beastmasters. I'm training for Ultimate Beastmaster season 3, and looking for a training partner in or near Idaho Falls. The video submission application deadline to is still TBD so we have time to get ninja-ripped. There will be a lot of climbing, pull-ups, plyometrics and agility/speed work. Let me know if you're interested!

  4.  If anyone is interested in joining the Knight Warriors of the Books of Excalibur and lending a hand in the defense of The Kingdom of Elrond, join the fight here by posting your own mission, participating in a given mission by completing it and sharing your results, posting helpful meal ideas for recovery for our stalwart Knight Warriors or filling in as a battle healer by posting healing and recovery tips:

  5. Thanks for the info @Heidi ☯. I like yours too, very nice Paladin description. I dig it. I also like that banner picture you have when I hover my mouse over your name in the thread. How do I do that? Oh and the house is in Norfolk. I'm actually still here right now, but I'm leaving in the next couple days for Idaho. Thanks for the information @Laghail. I appreciate it good sir.
  6. Maybe I'm missing it, but I can't find a history of comments or posts that I've liked, under the "My Activity Streams" tab. The closest thing to it would be "Content I Follow," or "Content I Posted In." Am I just missing this feature, or does it not exist? If it doesn't exist, can we please make that a reality? I would love you long time.
  7. @comicfire One of the biggest things besides partaking in any type of physical therapy, is staying positive and making the best of the situation. I'm sure someone's already posted this advice, but it can't hurt coming from someone else as well. You may not be able to do all the things you want to do right now, but be patient, and your body will heal. As long as you are careful and take appropriate steps to rehabilitate yourself, in time, you will be back at it again. Look at this moment as an opportunity for you to focus some of your time on other aspects of your life, exploring ne
  8. Name: Kurospool (not to be confused with a spool of thread of the Kuros variety) Distance: Slow jog 5 miles tonight. Target pace is 11-minute per mile Speed: Fast run 5 miles tomorrow. Target pace is 9-minute per mile. Recovery: Eat 5 scrambled eggs. Stay hydrated. Get 8-10 hours sleep. Stretch. Foam roll. Ranger: Sprint short wooded trail by my house. Imagine I am Aragorn or Legolas running from an orc war party. Stop and take some macro photos of flower and tree texture. Keep an eye out for any cool insect pics. Look for a 4-leaf clover. Oh, and find Francis.
  9. Hello there. I'm sure it's already been said at some point and even considered, but it can't hurt to mention it again. I THINK it would be great for the site (or terrible, not sure yet) if all our character profiles and quests were accessible via a facebook-like network, as in you can go to someone's page and see what they're all about, what they're working towards and what they've accomplished. I personally think it would be cool to check out and gain inspiration from other people's profiles and keep in touch with one another via a facebook-like interface, but in the style and format of this
  10. I'm moving to Idaho Falls very soon and wanted to see if anyone's looking for a gym partner. No nerd is too nerdy. Let me know. I like to do cross-fit style workouts, basic strength and power training, distance running as well as sprint and agility work from time to time. Oh and I also like to climb.
  11. Kuros, through passed down stories that have become nothing more than legend, is known to most as the "Knight Warrior of the Books of Excalibur," but few would know it upon meeting this unassuming hero. Less bulky warrior and more agile ranger, with a mind sharper than any blade (except Brightsword, of course), Kuros is a servant of light, far more humble than the picture this old keeper of lore will paint for you. Always cloaked and seldom seen, it would be easy to mistake him for an assassin (a poor one at that if he is indeed seen), or a scout. Alas, this is not the case. Jack of all trades
