  1. update 004 So update for the last 3 days. I worked out twice and i am now able to bench 55 comfortably and 60 when i push myself. so today im gonna try and push past that for sure. my bicep curls hover at 35 lbs per arm so i think i set an unrealistic goal for this timeframe. in terms of diet, i was doing amazing till yesterday. i hadnt touched junk for this challenge, but yesterday i had two handfulls of cheetos, which were not even worth it, so that sucks, but im able to keep going. also, does orange juice count as junk? if it does, i had one of those last night as well. other than that, gonna keep pushin!!!!
  2. Update 003 Things are going good everyone. My triceps have for sure gotten stronger. I'm bench pressing 55 lbs plus the bar comfortably, and I wanna hit 70 lbs. in terms of bicep curls, i can do 35 lbs, but feel most comfortable with the 30 lbs. I have quite a bit of work to do if I wanna hit 40 lbs, that the goal fo sho1!!! thanks for all the support i receive now and then!!!! good luck to everyone else!!!!
  3. Update 002 Things are going good. I have been staying off junk which is awesome. I am catching up realllly well in school, just two more things and I should be fully caught up. I worked out yesterday and today. yesterday was chest and arms, today I worked out back. Tomorrow?...maybe legs? maybe i'll just do cardio!!! Either way, working out is awesome. I also want to start thinkin about what i'm going to go about achieving my goal for my internship for my program next year..that is definitely on the agenda. anyways, until tmr, goodnight and good luck all!!!
  4. based purely on the name, I have decided to join the thirteen tailed tiger demon squad. that should be fun!!! is there anything i should know about this squad? like any special conditions in order to stay on the squad?
  5. OK, doing good so far. I worked out yesterday and today. which is awesome, to be getting back into it. I may have cheated on my no junk thing today, I had a biscuit, i was at school, and supder hungry, and fresh out of food, so i had one biscuit.... so tmr, im overloading on fruit in order to avoid unhealthy snacks. as for school, i've already finished two assignments, and now im onto the third, and fourth. so definitely aiming for a full scale catch up. thats all for today. manu
  6. OK, so I've copped out for the first 2 weeks of march. But I'm back and ready to kick some serious ass! I am making specific goals, because I did see improvement in my strength so I'd like to keep it going. Fitness Goals: Run 12 km Twice a week. Be able to do Bicep Curls with 40lbs on each arm. Be able to bench press 70 lbs plus the bar. No junk whatsoever for rest of the challenge. I have been known to sneak: cookies, couple chips, ice cream, milkshake, french fries, maybe some chocolate. But for the rest of this challenge, if it isnt healthy, I'm not eating it. I am going to a party this friday, so I will be drinking once in the next 2 week period. That is my only cheat. Life Goal: Phase 1: Catch up in all subjects in school. This is my goal for this week. at the end of this week, I will update with a new goal for the next week. But every single day will be dedicated to finishing all homework to the best of my ability till I am up to speed. OK, lets do this! manu
  7. Man, did not work out today. I was swamped with homework, but I did spend the majority of my day painting, which is a good thing. Also, I forgot to mention, but I had some great one on one time with my brother, so that is also going well. I am definitely working out tomorrow. Gonna go hardcore on chest, and abs!!! and then keep practicing!!! good luck to you all!!! the challenge is winding down soon! manu

Update 009 Quick update before I call it a night... worked out today, worked on some arms and chest. had a quick conversation with my brother... but i shouldve stuck around for more conversation... i shouldve focused on this more since i had the chance, so hopefully i'll get a redo on this one. I drew today and painted. quick note, i noticed my drawings are starting to fall apart alittle, so i have to reign it in and get back to basics, and keep it simple!!! tmr is friday, i'll be working out, drawing, painting, and havin a good time! hope everyone else does as well!   9. Update 008 Good news... I did work out yesterday, and today. I am seeing results, yet tiny ones. I have for sure gotten stronger in my arms, and my back. I've seen my arms get a little bigger, and a little more definition in my body, but not anywhere near what I want. I know it has a lot to do with my diet... i know this probably sounds lame cuz i keep whining about my diet. but i really only talk about it so that i'm being honest and not lying to myself about why im not achieveing the results i really want. to really achieve the results i want, i'm gonna have to just eat healthier. less food, more healthy food, and more protein. i do have pictures taken, so at the end of this challenge, i'll do an update. as for art, i've decided to give 100% effort to drawing and painting. it is what brings me the most happiness, so i thought thatd be a good place to start. lastly, i have been having more, and longer conversations with my brother. our convos seem to be stagnating at one thing though, which is working out. my goal is to diversify this conversation into wider subject matter, and hopefully that will deepen and strengthen our relationship. anyways, thats all for today folks!!! good luck to you all!! manu
  10. Update 007 Sorry I havent updated in like 3 days. But, a quick recap on things. I did not work out friday, it was a rest day, But i did work out yesterday. A quick note on things. I have been extremely busy recently, but i have been mulling on what things I actually devote 100% effort to. I feel like I do a lot but I don't always feel like I accomplish a lot. So, as is my mission for the year, I'm looking to simplify things. So i'm gonna be analyzing what it is I do in my day, and start to think what things should I adjust or cut out or refocus on in order to put 100% effort in, and get the best results.... very exciting actually. I shall keep you all posted. Manu
  11. HUGE day for me!!! I have officially leveled up for the first time. I had a personal life goal, to get on the wall, which is our term in school for having your artwork posted up on the hallways for everyone to see, in life drawing. It was a huge hurdle because life drawing has been tough for me, but, today, I crossed it cuz one of my drawings got put up, which IS BOMB!!!! thats awesome!!! once i get it back, i'll post it up here!!! i worked out today. chest was on the agenda, and abs. But, my arms are holding me back. I noticed they get tired far faster than my chest will, especially my triceps. So i'm gonna work out my arms tmr. If i can get my triceps, and forearms to be stronger, it'll help me push myself a lot more in my weight training for back and chest... very exciting stuff. My diet was ok today. Some stuff as yesterday, majority carbs. and i had a cookie. lol. I feel bad for singin the same old song, but gotta be honest about this stuff right? but i did have a lot of salmon today, and two scoops of protein. so got some protein in there atleast. anyways, thats all for today!!! have a great night!!! manu
  12. HEya... alright day. atleast i worked out. Worked out back today, and I had a conversation with my brother. Also kept practicing art, but a little overwhelmed with all the work, as I'm sure everyone feels alot. Tomorrow is another day. As for artwork, i posted some in my last thread on the last challenge. I'lll post some more soon. anyways, until tmr. Manu!

HEYA! nope, i got no problem posting pictures... do u mean of my art, or of my physical progress? today was good, had a short conversation with my brother... he was discussing a project he has to do about cosmetic products being tested on animals... im gonna check in on him again tomorrow and make sure everything is goin ok with that. as for exercises, today i did legs... squats, leg extensions, many many lunges with 90lbs added, and then 70 lbs added, 3 sets with each , 15 reps, 12 reps, and 10 reps, calf raises, and some other ones i dont know the name of. my rotation for exercises is chest, back, legs, and arms.. i used to merge arms with back and chest, but on saturday, i started to devote a separate session to it because i really wanna get bigger, defined arms. i do wanna get way more toned. i make it tougher for myself though because im in a weird place in my diet right now. im trying to go vegetarian, which i have no problem with, but i havent made a solid attempt to make sure i'm still getting all the nutrients and protein i need to support my weight lifting. that is something i really gotta do. as for school, its a crazy week. im definitely improving in drawing, but my painting needs much work. as they say, its a process. diet today? about 70 g of protein, far more in complex carbohydrates, and 4 chips and one oreo. a glass of milk. tons of broccoli, sweet potato...... its a jumble, but i am staying away from fatty stuff, i think lol thats all for today all good work is done like ants do work.... little by little cheers manu
  14. Had a more of a relaxing day today. I practiced art, did some other work. I had a conversation with my brother. I did not work out today tho, but i did go the last two days. I'll be picking it up again tomorrow. Tomorrow I'm gonna go really hard and intense at the gym, and then be really good on my diet tomorrow. Thats the quick update for today!!!
  15. It must be really demanding on yourself to push yourself to do all this while healing your foot. I think its great!!! and inspirational!!! Keep going cuz i think you're doing great!!!
