  1. My schedule currently is pretty empty exercise wise. I'll give these a go after work and see how I go, might start off every second day first to see how my back copes with it. I walk a fair bit, I almost always do over 10,000 steps a day...according to my phone. But I think my problem is I'm on my phone too much or in the habit of being on my phone so I'm in a bad habit of walking hunched over....I've recognised that so I'm trying to stop myself using my phone while I walk and make it a habit not to. But it's usually between client visits I'm walking so it's a chance to check my emails, see where I'm going next etc.
  2. Thanks guys. How many times a week should I do the core exercises? Or should I do them every day?
  3. Hi guys, So this is my first post and hopefully not my last. I'm finally putting off the procrastination and starting to get myself fitter and in better shape. I don't really need to lose any weight but I REALLY need to get fitter. I get puffed out after walks and I keep finding excuses to procrastinate. My current excuse is my lower back. So...I work in IT, and with years and years of sitting in front of a PC with poor posture I've developed a really weak lower back. I've been fighting to make myself sit better and I think I've made a little progress, but I also have ADD....so after 30 seconds of making myself sit up right it slips from my mind and find myself back to slouching. Does anyone have any tips for working on my posture? And more importantly, does anyone have any suggested exercises I can do to strengthen my lower back specifically? Like if I can find a good exercise or set of execises to do then I can make myself do that however many times a day....but I don't know where to start? I have a friend who goes to the gym that's tried to help me with other exercises but I keep getting stuck or having to stop because of my lower back...he's not experienced enough to know what I can do to work on that problem....so hoping one of you guys might have some input? Look forward to your replies! -Tony
