Hello.
I've recently started going to the gym /for first time in my life!/, But I feel that there are so many things that are not clear to me and I feel that my workouts are far from adequate. So i have a few question that I would like to ask. Firstly let me point out that I am male, 22-years-old, 1,65m and 55kg. (I have never been plump, I feel I have a small stomach because I have never been able to eat alot, or as many people would say "i was never been able ti eat normal") I don't take ANY supplements, I rarely eat junk food and I am not a vegan or vegetarian. I don't smoke and don't drink alcohol, 1-2h before work out i try to eat something like a chicken stake, or omelet and about 30 min before I go to the gym i try to eat some cereal or banana/ apple, etc. And after a workout I drink a glass of soya milk on the way home. Then I try to eat another omelet. My goal is to build some muscle, but i don't want to become like the bodybuilders or something ike this. So my questions are:
1.Is it true that the exercises are more efficient when you do them slowly - like 3-4 s. to flex, then you hold for -2 sec. and 2-3 more sec. to release ?
2. Which is better ..fewer reps but more weight, or more reps with less weight ?
3. Should I consider the fact that I eat few times but less food when I workout ?
4. I go to the gym once in two days and i have divided my workouts like this - day 1 - biceps, triceps and chest...day -2 -rest....day -3 - shoulder and back. I try to do few abdomen exercises every time. Is this division adequate or is there better one ?
Thanks in advance
