  1. @mdv6 re:Quest for Glory series Thank you!!! Best video game series ever. Just finished replaying all five of them, and they are very motivational. Make me want to do my best and be a frakkin' Hero!
  2. Strength: None. Dexterity: None. Constitution: Way under ate today. Only 54g of protein, and over 150g of carbs. Less than 1200 calories overall. Mostly because I didn't cook anything today, and ate out of cans and boxes, then at Mama Fu's for dinner (although the Thai shrimp salad was pretty healthy and delicious). I did manage to stay below my goal on sugar, though. Stamina: None. Intelligence: No new posts today, because I didn't spend any time on the internet. Charisma: Haven't been very active on the boards today, but am keeping up with my Battle Log and this log. Life: I have none. :/
  3. Strength: None. Dexterity: None. :/ Constitution: Okay, so my girlfriend brought home a heart shaped pizza for lunch and proceeded to guilt me into eating it, so I way overshot my carbs today (160g) and my sugar (55g), but I did get 165g of protein, so that's something. I think maybe my body could use the energy anyway to help fight off whatever has a hold of me. Stamina: None. Intelligence: A few new posts at http://getdialedin.blogspot.com . I'm really enjoying the writing, and at a point where I want to write something on there after every article I read. Course, I haven't been reading much the last couple days. Charisma: Check. Life: Have a couple ideas. Need to start putting stuff down on paper soon.
  4. I'm using Pure Protein 100% Whey (vanilla creme) because that's what they had at Target when I got in the mood to buy protein powder, but I fully expect the crowd to hurl loaves of moldy bread at me any moment (have to do something with all that uneaten bread lying around). It does taste really good, though.
  5. What kind of nuts are you eating? A cup (16 tbls) of Kirkland mixed nuts (at 3 tbls/serving) is 5.33 servings = 1066 calories, 95.9g of fat, 42.6g of carbs, and 32g of protein.
  6. Strength: None. Again, my body has been achy and I haven't felt good. Barely moved all day. Dexterity: None. :/ Constitution: Nailed all my diet related goals today. 181.1g of protein, 63.5g carbohydrates, and only 29.4g sugar. Course, today was sorely lacking in fruits and veggies, too. Need to work on balancing my diet out. Stamina: None. Intelligence: Nothing posted a http://getdialedin.blogspot.com yet. I want to write about the game I just started playing and the movie I just watched tonight though. Charisma: Check. Life: Stiiiil brainstorming ideas.
  7. Hah. There is some genuine talent there. Those moves aren't easy to perform, even choreographed.
  8. It's hard to say this to a Ravens fan (just kidding) but well done. Those 2 extra push ups might not seem like much now, but a few more gains like that and you'll have doubled your consecutive push up total.
  9. On cutting out all soda, I did that last month and the important thing is to keep reminding yourself that you're doing it. It's all to easy to accept a soda from someone's hand and drink half of it before you remember that, crap, you're not supposed to be drinking soda.
  10. @zielperson I was terrified at first. The circumstances behind the end of my employment were both unfortunate and very negative, and I wasn't sure if I would be able to collect unemployment benefits or not. Lucky, things worked out in that area and the benefits are enough to get me by until I find a good job, so I don't see any reason to panic. Yet. @mark As nerdy as this sounds, it was reading Lord Valentine's Castle by Robert Silverberg (or at least the first bit of it) that made me want to learn to juggle. Plus it seems like a skill that will benefit hand-eye coordination, reflexes, and patience. It's also sort of... meditative? You put everything away for a bit and just focus on the poetry of the movement, your hands and your... well the objects you're juggling. Thanks for the bed tip. I'm going to try two balls soon, and I'm sure I'll be dropping them a lot.
  11. Strength: None. Body just didn't feel right today. Barely moved at all. Dexterity: None. Didn't even work on the juggling. :/ Constitution: Barely ate anything today, so I missed my protein goal, but I also managed to overshoot my carbs and sugar goal again. I think 35 grams of all purpose sugar is too aggressive, so I'm going to push my goal to 45 grams a day instead, but I still want to shoot for less than 100g carbs a day. I just need to do a better job planning my meals. Stamina: None. Intelligence: A few new posts up at http://getdialedin.blogspot.com. I'm doing well here, and enjoying it. Charisma: Check. I think I should add a # of posts goal to this, too, like 5 posts per day (2 build in just with Log and Challenge). Still haven't updated my character sheet but I'll get there. Life: Stiiiil brainstorming ideas.
  12. Strength: None. Dexterity: I did the Biggest Loser Weight Loss beginner routine, but I have a long way to go before I can complete the whole thing comfortably. I rested a lot, took poses off, and had a couple water breaks. Gods it felt good though. I also practiced basic juggling movements with a single ball today for about 10 minutes. Constitution: Like I said, this is a hard challenge. I hit my protein goal at 164g, but I surpassed my limit on both carbohydrates and sugar, mostly because I didn't bother to check how much sugar was in the stir fry I had for dinner. Still, I did pretty well, only barely overshooting on both areas, with 129.6g carbs and 51.5g of sugar, all of which was from fruit, vegetables, and nuts. Stamina: Surpassed, riding the bike a total of about 6.8 miles. Intelligence: I didn't spend much time reading or perusing the web today, but ever article I read I posted my thoughts on at Dialed In. Good job, me. Charisma: Started and updated my Battle Log, haven't done anything with the Character Sheet yet. Tomorrow. Life: Still brainstorming ideas for a good story.
