  1. Okay I'm rather annoyed. I'm using the Zombies Run free app I've just gotten to Mission 6 that's supposed to be today. However I can't unlock it for 3 more days. Just saying that I'm not happy anyone who's using Zombies Run the free one just be aware of it. I currently don't have the extra cash to spend for the app itself. I'm looking for a job I need to lose weight to fit back into my work clothes and I've got to move. Needless to say I'm a little pissed Sent from my SM-G610F using Tapatalk
  2. I am not far into it but i like the free version of zombies run. I walk/jog. I always get more than a mile for each mission. Sent from my SM-G610F using Tapatalk
  3. Didn't get to the fitness room yesterday. However back at it today. Finished a zombie mission. It is getting easier to jog. Still walk jogging. Now i can reward myself with diablo. But first going to do a week 2 update and I can't figure out how to edit my first post with tapatalk. Off to do that and play more diablo. Woot Sent from my SM-G610F using Tapatalk
  4. *sigh* i dont want to go exercise. I want to hide in diablo. I know it will make me feel better, to a point. I just dont want to. I need to get my mind off job hunting from and moving. Just lots of anxiety and all the crap that comes from it. Stressed enough i want to cry. Dont want to do thr Nf beginner work out which is today. Ugh. Sent from my SM-G610F using Tapatalk

  6. Oh i forgot to add that they have combat for youths now. So your daughter can also participate with people her age. The youth weapons are usually padded in some form. Sent from my SM-G610F using Tapatalk
  7. Just some other "try out different forms of exercise" ideas for you: Dance classes I recommend bellydance if they are in your area. No, you dont have to show your stomach in class. And most of the classes I attended were very accepting of everyone. In addition to bellydance you could try hip-hop, pop and lock, ballroom and salsa. I know people who prefer hiking to walking. And any kind of sport volleyball or frisbee. Then there are the ones where you are having fun and not realizing you are moving all over creation like lazer tag or paintball. You might even look up a local society for creative anachronism for your area and go to a fighter practice and see if you like wearing armor and hitting (at first getting hit) with sticks. Here is a link to the tournament for the crown. They are usually best 2 out of three. In this one one of the fighters is a woman. Also in the S.C.A. they have rapier which is like fencing. Showing up at a any type of fighting practice is usually welcome and free. Hope it helps. Azizah Sent from my SM-G610F using Tapatalk
  8. I'll have to look at that one. I have the plain version. Popping in is lovely, I am new here and dont know any one. It helps me get to know people[emoji1] Sent from my SM-G610F using Tapatalk
  9. Ok went back to the fitness room today. NF beginner workout done 2 circuts. What i learned today: warm up for longer. My right hamstring complained after the first 2 lunges. Then when I got to the second set of them there was less complaining from that muscle. Another note: I seriously want to see progress. I weigh my self way too often, Every time I am in the fitness room. Today it said 75kg. I was like whoa that can't be right. I was correct. Zeroed the scale and still same weight. I should try to not weigh my self... not sure that will happen. However if I remember the things I get out of the workouts that don't have to do with weight, maybe i can actually achieve some of my weightloss/fitness goals. I just need to keep telling my self small sustainable changes will make the most difference. Non-weight benefit: I know that 20 minutes minimum 3-4 times a week of cardio really helps my tension/stress headaches. Sent from my SM-G610F using Tapatalk
  10. Still exhausted. Probably got about 7 hours in 48. I despeately need to go to the gro store. Which is a chore. I have to take my rolling captians bag on the subway and walk about 10 minutes after the subway. In 89 degree weather that feels like 116. Time to grow gills. Then get home with all said groceries. And the language barrier here is astounding. Ugh. I wish i could sleep when the sun is up. Sent from my SM-G610F using Tapatalk
  11. I'm the same, I feel more concerned that I'm bothering people.
  12. Fleaball, After I read about your Graduation, I read about all the other stuff going on in your life. Wow, your plate is full. I don't have any great advice, other than breathe. It can be done anywhere, specifically a slightly meditative breathing. Here is my suggestion on what I mean: Count your breaths, inhale then exhale =1 breath. Try to breathe deeply and slowish. Count your breathing up to 5, then repeat. It is more difficult than you think. If you lose track, start over with 1. Set a timer on your phone and try for 1 minute (Maybe after a week or of it you can move up to more like maybe 3 minutes). So basically you are counting to 5 over and over with breathing. I say one minute, because you can probably take 1 extra minute while you are in the bathroom and no one will know. I find breathing helps me with just the barest amount of distance from emotions, and even that tiny bit of distance can make a big difference. I hope that helps. Azizah
  13. Hi, I'm new here. I have to agree with NeverThatBored. This is something I have trouble with that people tell me all the time: It is ok to accept help, especially when it was offered. And even more it's ok to ask for help. Which I have to admit, I almost never do. I know that by now your Graduation is probably done. I want to say Congradulations! Azizah
  14. Well, because I have been up all night with insomnia. "Today" will be a rest day. Back at it on Thursday. Sent from my SM-G610F using Tapatalk
  15. Hi Starlord I have only done 2 missions. The free version only has you run about 3 times a mission from the zombies. There are some good FAQs on their website about how to make it work if you use a treadmill. So you should probably check that out. Other than that there are 6 seasons of missions that are free. The first season has 23 missions. I haven't looked at the pay version yet. With the pay version you can adjust how many times it tells you to run. There is usually one ad at the beginning. It seems faily long but I haven't run into any other ads. It also will work with external music players. There is a caveat to that, because I am in Thailand, and pandora is not supported here, my music on deezer app is not muted when the Zombies Run app starts talking. The app does support some external music applications however mine is not supported. If you use music on your phone it will mute it for you and you don't have to strain to listen over your music to what it's saying. Basically you're running through a story. The app tracks how fast you're going and when it tells you to run it wants to run about 20% faster than you were going. It does not talk constantly. The app breaks in anywhere between 4 - 6 times roughly and each mission is about 30 minutes. At the end of each one it gives you "radio time" to continue running. It also gives you a teaser of the next mission. It breaks in enough to keep you interested but not so much that you're annoyed. Hope this was helpful and if you have any other questions that this brought up I may be to answer it. I like it so far. I've never been a runner right now I'm walking and jogging when it says run. It's doing well enough that I'm disappointed that tomorrow is a strength day because I want to hear the next mission. Azizah Sent from my SM-G610F using Tapatalk
