  1. I like the pathfinder comics and novels. I also have read the various game books, but I'm not much of a number cruncher either. I'd be happy if everythign was AD&D 2nd edition and nothing else. 😸
  2. thank you for asking. Not too badly. I've been able to stay away from the hooch, have been writing, though not as much as I wanted, and have signed up for a good beginner exercise app that a gal here recommended. I'm in far worse shape than I had hoped, but it gets me to where I want to be without me just giving up sine I can't do everythign I want.
  3. We got to meet the artist for the comic book too and he was amused that I knew enough to put a slit in the tunic both front *and* back.
  4. thanks. I wanted to go all out at least one time with cosplay. This was at GenCon a few years ago.
  5. My husband is Ezren, from the pathfinder comic books. I'm from a invented pathfinder character I found on an art site, which my brain is blanking on right now....D-something? yes, so much sanding, and painting and reforming and arrgh. I like to use taupe since it keeps me from looking too racoonish.
  6. Thanks for the suggestion but I just hate to listen to people talking. I think the last audiobook I had was on a cassette, and was George Takei doing a star trek novel. other than that, I'm doing well.
  7. your work is great. I've played sheet worbla before, making the armor in the photo. and a suggestion that taupe (grey/brown) is a really useful eyeshadow color. It give a nice natural look to shadowing. i'm not sure how to hide images until someone chooses to click on them, so apologies if this shows up weird.
  8. Unsurprisingly, sword and sorcery and science fiction. Most of what I've written are novelizations of games my husband has run as gamemaster.
  9. hello, respawner from central PA here.
  10. trying this yet again and I'm taking the fact that I came back just before a challenge as a "sign". 3 goals no alcohol (I need that since I have fatty liver disease) walking to work *and* walking at lunch. No being lazy and deciding it's more fun to read a book at lunch. weight training 3 times a week working up to 30+ minutes. some side quests: painting my bathroom and getting rid of the mildew posting daily here to keep myself honest. writing daily in my fiction stories, even if it's only a sentence.
  11. a marathon? Good job. I'm thinking of trying a 5K maybe this fall. Respawning yet again. As for suicide, I've always had it in my mind, a quiet dark figure in the shadows. I've tried therapy, but haven't had much luck, with therapists leaving to have children, etc.
  12. try. if you don't make it, then you'll at least know you've tried. And I'm there with you in always putting other people first.
  13. ah, if I can try to respawn and follow my dreams at 55, you have plenty of time
