  1. @Fear: Hey, buddy. Thanks for popping by how the heck are ya? @Croman Red: Yessir. I'm actually finding that by eating from the grocery store deli, I'm able to have more time to do things I like while still eating reasonably healthy. So I think by next week I'll be in a full on workout. The. I'll have to go to the gym to make use of their pull up bar. Of maybe i just say "screw that" and do my pull ups at work. 2. @chris_de_maas Thanks It's coming along nicely. I don't know if I'll be at 100% by the end of the challenge, but I'm ready LOADS better than I was. I figure this last 5-10% will take FOREVER. Lol. @AgentsSka Back at ya! Thanks for stopping by AH-ROO! @Animal Man As always sir, thanks for popping in Yesterday's workout was more workout-like. I did 2 sets of 10 DEEP assisted squats, 2 sets of 10 push ups with a major focus on trying to bring my hands together throughout the entire movement, and a rolling plank for a minute per side, with major focus on "sucking in the gut" as t were. They were brutal. I think I'll have to increase the difficulty on the RPoD. And I also need to do more leg work. Tonight I think I'll do a full workout. And a micro-woot: I was screwing around on some scaffolding the other day, and found two tubes running over my head about shoulder width apart, so I grabbed them and jumped into a body lever position, and got a few REALLY solid negatives in. I can't wait to experiment more with this Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  4. This is a problem for me as well. I go a minimum of 3 times a day, and I tend to vent a noxious odor in between sittings on the throne. Luckily I think it's hilarious. Especially when other people get really offended. Lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. You're doing great keep it up! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. They were a little uncomfortable during the exercise, but fine immediately after. I'm not at 100% yet, but I'm getting there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. That's really awesome everyone And this is a really neat format as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Thanks for the advice buddy. I'll definitely incorporate it into my day. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. My ankles are plenty mobile, I just can't get low without lifting my heels off the floor. If I have something to hold onto, I can, but if I try to do a freestanding squat/pistol I fall right over. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Thanks Nuala Things are going well so far. I've been screwing around with some core stuff while hanging from a scaffold tube. Got myself completely upside down yesterday. It was WAY harder than it used to be, but I'm climbing back to my peak. Lol. Yesterday I also did a mini workout in the room. Nothing major, just 10 push ups, 10 deep squats, 20 side lunges (10 per leg), and a Rolling Plank of Doom. My shoulders experienced a little discomfort on the plank, particularly the reverse plank, by it wasn't bad enough to stop doing it. The push ups were hard, I changed my technique so that I'm constantly trying to force my hands together as I push and lower, and it's added a whole new dimension the the push ups. Lol. And the squats were tough. I did just standard bodyweight squats, but I went SUPER deep, and used a hand hold to keep from falling backwards. Ill have to do these more for a while. Hopefully it will improve my ankle mobility when I pair it with stretching.
  11. Hope you had fun with the pups man. For a name change I'm thinking something along the lines of a Spartan designation. I'll have to look I tithe Halo books, games, movies (Wikipedia) and pick something that fits.
  12. How would you recommend I improve ankle mobility, to get deeper squats? Both pistol and regular?
  13. That's really awesome for a first try but the 150lbs. Dummy worries me. Who weighs so little anymore? Unless you come across a fitness model or child in need of dragging somewhere. Lol.
  14. Not likely. Lol. But thanks for the sentiment. All of the Weldon has to happen in the evaporator from here on out. Which means that, not only am in confined spaces for the next 4-5 weeks (with no days off, if rumors are true), but they're going to get tighter and more cramped as I go along. On the upside, I got lots of time to try embrace the Void yesterday. It was a resounding failure, but that's no reason to stop trying. And also, I'm sleeping more. Exhaustion is grand.
  15. Good challenge bud, but a word of caution regarding the laser eye surgery: I had a consult not long ago, and apparently they're pretty fickle about what they can fix, because the last told me I would have no benefit from going. So maybe look into it sooner than later.
  16. Today I did a little bit of L-seat holds, I'm feeling stronger on them, bit that was it. It was a hectic day of being stuck in a miserable, dark, little confined space and playing monkey so the welder and I could maneuver around each other to get the joint fit, tacked and welded out.
  17. Rest days are important too! And you're doing so well I just know you'll own this practice PT test! I can't wait to see how you do
  18. Well I'm beginning my 10th challenge this week. So far it's going well. Today, while at work, I managed multiple sets of squats and pull ups. I think my tot for the day is somewhere around 70 and 30, respectively. Tonight I'll see about doing push ups if it's not too late when I get back to the room.
  19. Glad you're back buddy this looks like a kick ass challenge. But I gotta be honest, "Animal Man" doesn't quite have the same ring to it that "Wolf" did. Lol. But your name change may just inspire my own...
  20. The Void returned to me rather quickly afterwards. I was all back to normal by days end. So far today has been good. I'm a little tired, but I've been keeping busy so far. I've been in the fab tent with my welder all day, which means I'm not working at such a hectic pace all day, so when I get a few minutes I ether do squats in sets of 10 or pull ups in sets of 4-5. I think so get today I'm up to 60 squats and 30 pull ups. And I don't even feel that gassed, because I e spread them through a whole day.
  21. Did you manage weighted pistols with the weight behind your back? I know that was something you were talking about for a while, but I kind of drifted out there for a bit when life got in the way.
  22. Nope. No DOMS. But I did screw around with some L-seats today when I had a few moments. And I had to REALLY hustle at work today. At least half the day was up and down ladders, dragging hoses and cables around, hauling tools, and hoses and cables. I worked up a pretty good sweat. On another front, I lost the Void. Totally blew it. Today was a super frustrating day, and I spent most of the day feeling like I wanted to punch people and quit my job. I DID manage to calm myself and close my eyes and take deep breaths, but it didn't calm my rage. In the moment I just could hold the void. I'll have to work on this.
  23. I could, but I'd rather sleep. I already wake up to start my 18 hour day around 4:30, if I were to go for a half hour run in the morning, I'd have to be up an hour early in order to get ready, run and shower. It's just not realistic. I think I'll stick with grease the groove type stuff when I get a free moment at work. Yesterday I managed to get about 20 pull ups through the day, and 20 push ups after supper, and went to bed with my body feeling sore and tired for the first time in a long while.
  24. Oh I'm going nuts. I want to workout, I have energy to burn, but by the time the day ends I'm just so burnt out that I can't do anything.
