  1. Hi James! Yeah I've been planning my meals, but that's been part of the problem. I've been making meals that range between 300 and 400 calories. When I eat healthy, I always end up eating lower calorie/high protein.
  2. I've never been a fan of counting calories, mainly because it's hard to figure out what the caloric value of some of my favorite foods are and I get spooked easy. But I'm doing my best now because I've got a plan, a goal, and a team to back me up (shout out to the ENTIRE Rebellion). Today proved... problematic. I worked out, I ate a good breakfast and a solid lunch, and drank a TON of water and I wasn't really hungry. But MyFitnessPal told me that I couldn't check out for the day because I was 700+ calories under my minimum required caloric intake. So I freaked out (like I do) and crammed in that extra 700 calories. [Two tilapia flanks, and a mixture of Greek Yogurt, Peanut Butter, and a little bit of honey for taste] But now I'm going to bed in the next 30 - 40 minutes and I feel like crap because I'm stuffed like a tick. Any pointers on how to A) Balance my calories correctly so I don't end up having these problems and B)Manage my tracker better, because I'm worried it's going to worry me so much in the beginning that I'm going to do more harm than good. EDIT: You can take a look at what I tracked today on MyFitnessTracker.
  3. Greetings and Well met fellow adventurers! I'm Raulwicke Legendsinger (Nicholas), and I'm new to the Rebellion! I'm currently residing in Upstate New York (Poughkeepsie to be precise) and I'm looking for either online accountability partners or even someone close by to meet up with every so often and go hiking/ work out with! I'm also on the prowl for a mentor, someone who has been through this and can give me pointers. I've always tried being on my own and trying to improve myself but it always ends up failing a few weeks in. I want to change that. Regards! R. Legendsinger
  4. My Epic Quests are two-fold: Number One is my quests on NerdFitness Academy which are goals for however long it takes me to complete them such as The 7 Trials of the Steel Arm and my Exploration Side Quests which you can check out here And Number Two is my more story line driven Quests which are centered around leveling up Raulwicke himself. Raulwicke is a central character is many of my RPG quest lines and even part of a book I've been trying to write for a very long time. I've always wanted to be like Raul, so I've broken down aspects of his character and built four skills I want to develop based on them. You can read more about that here If you have any pointers, ideas, or thoughts on my Epic Quests, please let me know!
  5. My Big Why: I'm done with being in constant pain at 20 years old from the wear and tear on my joints, and I'm sick of feeling self conscious for finding other people attractive because I see myself as too unattractive to be taken seriously. If you have any pointers or ways I can improve my Big Why, please let me know!
  6. Greetings and well met, fellow Rebels and adventurers! As above, my name is Raulwicke Legendsinger (Though some have known me as Nicholas or Nick in the past) and I am very excited to join the rebellion! I'll be posting about my "Big Why" and goals under this post, but I just wanted to say hello first!
