  2. Glorious, immense morning for recon. Encountered a moment of extreme, large mindfullness marked by a sudden sense of location and smallness in the landscape and then in the universe. The mist rising over the fruit trees and bold flowering squash, the lightening sky and a sliver of moon almost directly above. The heavy flowers of queen anne's lace covered the sides of the earthen dam I walked across. A faint perfume, just the suggestion of a scent, teased me. One piece of intel: mitakuye oyasin.
  3. Buffalowings silently ran through the woods, lifting her feet just before they touched the moist earth, springing over water, mud, and any stick that would crack if she were to step on it. All her senses were on alert and she could feel the changes in the ground beneath her feet as she made her way over small hillocks, under brambles, and into the catherdral pines. Her sense on high alert, she heard a woodpecker knock away dry pieces from the shell of a tree behind her and, to her east, a turkey puffed out his feathers with a sharp wthhht. Count me in on this one!! I will do at least 1 of 3 walks as a barefoot trail run, if permitted.
  4. Great goals.. love the percentages and the spending goal. I could use some work on that one myself. And you've inspired me to look up statics and post my own starting stats. Good luck with the challenge!
  5. I've lost 20 pounds and six inches from my waist since the spring. I'm going to keep going. Here is my mission: Perform 20 full pushups in 50 seconds (right now I can do 16) - potential points: 4 strength, 1 dexterity Workout 5 days a week - 2 wisdom Perform 3 chin ups in a row (right now I can barely do 1) - 5 strength Do one charitable activity (mentoring, presentation, job shadowing, tutoring etc.) with at-risk youth - 2 wisdom, 1 charisma I hope to earn the honor of being welcomed as an assassin! Physical Stats: Gender: F Height: 5' 7" Weight: 133.6 Body fat%: 22.39 R Arm: 10.125" R. Thigh: 21.625" Waist: 26.25" Hips: 38.25 I saw that others posted their plans, so I will, too: Mine is simple. Work out at least five days a week. Acceptable workouts include the following: HIIT; bike riding, running, hiking, weight lifting, canoeing, or other strenuous, sweat-inducing activity. Meet myfitnesspal's calories goal >5 days/week. Attempt chinups casually >1x/day. Attack chinups with some real training >1x/week. Do pushups in work outs >3x/week. I have already contacted the agency of choice for volunteering. Next step is a follow-up call. I hope to hear from them soon.
